My husband saw a commercial for Cracker Barrel and never experienced the hillbilly dinning and asked if we can try it. He saw the pic for the campfire meal and was sold. Clever idea everything you want wrapped in aluminum foil — weirdly though the foil didn’t look like it was in the stove/oven/fire and it wasn’t warm so must have been added after it was cooked for presentation. But it didn’t trap the heat in his chicken for it came to the table Luke warm. He complained that it was soggy and sitting in liquid. It looked delicious to me but he said it was just ok — but would try something else next time. My dish was the buttermilk oven chicken breast and it was amazing. The server mentioned it took a bit longer to cook and I said I wanted it anyhow.(Maybe that’s why his good was on the cold side). But for me it was well worth the wait.

My girlfriend and I go here every Tuesday morning for breakfast. Most of the wait staff know who we are and we always request Heather as our waitress. She goes just above and beyond what her call of duty is. She is attentive but not over bearing with her service. The food always comes out promptly and is always on point with flavor. I’d recommend this particular location to everyone.

Easily the worst Cracker Barrel that I have eaten at in Florida. I had the ham and eggs. There is not much I can say about it. The biscuits and gravy were ok. The rest of it was very bad.

My favorite dish at Cracker Barrel is the fried catfish dinner. It is consistently the best thing on the menu. the chicken & dumplings is a close second! This location is not as busy as others i have been to, so there is usually not a wait time.

We fill like country breadfast so here we are. I had Cranberry Juice & Coffee with cream. Wife just had coffee. She order Sunrise Sampler & I had the Pecan Pancake with a side of Turkey Sausage. Up to now the food taste, temperature & presentation is Great & Good. But the service is lacking in attention to the table that is been serve. Example, I or Wife have to be in constant attention to call your server for coffee or items that have been forgotten when they bring your plate. What is going on who knows…

So I’m probably in the top 5 of the biggest fans of Cracker Barrel in the entire USA. Today I stopped by the DeerField Beach FL location for lunch. As usual I couldn’t decide what to choose from because I love most everything they make. The reason for this post is not the obvious reason of how much I love this company but more so the great waitress Sandra my family had. You have never had such a polite and professional waitress anywhere. I can’t wait to visit her and here again.

Disappointed tonight. Have not been to this location in about 18 months or more. I give it 3 stars she gives it 1 star so that’s why it a 2. She got chicken fried chicken which has always been her cracker barrel favorite and has always been consistent location to location. However tonight, it was absolutely inedible! The chicken texture was rubbery… so bad it couldn’t even be chewed, the sweet potato was nuked, not baked… and the biscuits and cornbread seem to have shrunk and kept under a warmer. I had the country boy breakfast. Tried their steak with it… Steak was decent and cooked to order. Server asked if I’d like a refill, I said yes. 10 minutes later I asked if she had gotten my refill. Her reply«oh I will get that now» server was very nice and welcoming. Another 2 servers brought out or meals. No one brought the corn muffins and biscuits. I asked the one server for apple butter with the biscuits. Got jam, honey and butter but no apple butter. I don’t think we will be back to this location.

I had a great breakfast experience this morning at this Cracker Barrel. Jan was my server and she was quick on the coffee refills considering the place was jam packed. She was very friendly and seemed to love her job. The meal was good but not amazing. I had the Sunrise Sampler ® Two Eggs* cooked to order with Grits, Sawmill Gravy and Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits along with real Butter and the best Preserves, Jam n’ Apple Butter available. Served with Fried Apples, Hash brown Casserole and a sampling of Smoked Sausage, Country Ham and Thick-Sliced Bacon. The Sausage was a bit greasy but good and the Ham was very moist. The country store is always a winner seeing all the items from way back when and all the Christmas Holiday items in the store currently. Overall this visit was good.

Here is an update after being very disappointed with the last few visits here I contacted the corporate office to let them know how bad things got in just a week well a day or so later Dana the manager called me and asked what had happened and invited me back. A day later I returned and there was a % 100 percent improvement I am happy to say. Dana told explained to me that what I told him he really took it to heart and made many changes based on my experience from last week, and let me tell you what ever he did worked out great the service was great the food fresh and served hot I could not asked for anything better. They also switched over to their fall menu with lots of good things on it and one of the best deserts I ever had was added to the menu its the Pumpkin Custard with ginger snaps I can not tell you how shockingly good it is you must try it for yourself it is amazing.

What can I say? I love you cracker barrel! I don’t come here too often because once I have 1 Biscuit I can’t stop and eat the whole basket! I’m loyal to your meat loaf platter and roast beef. Your gravy is out of this world. My very picky daughter east her whole plate of chicken and dumplings and your green beans! Than. Finds an exciting price in your shop. I love this place for family outings between the country décor the many rocking chairs outside and their super cute shop. Everyone is so friendly! The adults can enjoy their meal and the kids will to and while the food comes they can browse in the shop without driving us parent crazy! Even though the get very busy they handle it very well! Love this place highly recommend for some yummy Southern food

This is always the goto for good coffee and breakfast in almost any city. This location is pretty much like the rest. Good country style cooking! I personally enjoy the country boy breakfast with blackened cat fish, hash-brown casserole, eggs and a biscuit. The kids like yogurt and if you are here for lunch of dinner they surprisingly have amazing fried shrimp as an adult or kids meal. Always up for a good county meal and this place always had it!

This chain will always hold a very special place in my heart. It was always the go-to breakfast spot of me and my college friends. I always get the same thing too– Mama’s French Toast Breakfast with bacon and scrambled eggs. I love their eggs and their 4 giant pieces of French toast are the best. I also love the cute little maple syrup bottles that come with the meal. Also, even though my meal is bread-based, I always order a side of biscuits… ugh!!! so amazing! they melt in your mouth with butter and jam. I want some right now! Oh and not to mention all of that food is under $ 8!

Cracker Barrel is a solid place to have breakfast. Definitely consistent and service is generally very good. I opted for the blueberry pancakes with a cute mini bottle of blueberry syrup(which they sell in the store). They are buttery with lots of blueberries packed inside. This is heavy stuff with no need for a side dish. I like that they bring a coffee pot with them so your mug is never empty, but can’t imagine that is fun for the servers. It gets packed in the later morning hours, so plan accordingly! Luckily, most customers do not linger too long, those seats are wood and not the most comfortable in the world.

We stopped by this on our way to Orlando. I like the consistency of this place. I always order the same breakfast each time I come here, and it tastes always the same. The hashbrowns are good and the biscuits and gravy are my favorite.

For me, Cracker Barrel is attached to fond memories as a child, but as an adult, the country charm has worn off. I had a gift certificate to CB and went for breakfast. We were seated promptly for a Saturday morning. Our waitress brought me a water with some black things floating around in it. I kept to my orange juice. I ordered a new plate, the Apple Streusel French Toast Breakfast. The french toast itself is DELICIOUS, with chunks of apple in the bread. However, it was just drowning in syrup, which made it overly-sweet. I do recommend the dish, but ask for the syrup on the side so you can dress it to your taste. My boyfriend had the Broccoli n’ Cheese Good Egg Bake, which the menu describes as «Egg Beaters® and blended with Colby and Parmesan cheeses, then loaded with fresh broccoli and hashbrown potatoes, topped with roasted tomatoes and baked.» He was consciously trying to choose a healthier menu option, but the egg bake fell flat in taste. The eggs were airy in a bad way, like biting into a sponge. There was also some seasoning that was way too over powering, like parsley or basil? Neither of us were a fan of that dish. His side of fruits were also mushy. Our waitress was nice, but wasn’t very attentive to our table. The floor was dirty and I almost slipped while walking in my sneakers. Their prices are cheap, and you can’t really go wrong with homestyle country foods. Not sure if I’ll return to this CB location, since there are others nearby, and I’ve had positive experiences at many others. This visit was not one of my favorites, but I’ve had worse elsewhere.
