Clarks

Clarks is a shoe store that sells shoes for men/​women/​kids that are healthy for your feet. I don’t think it’s a shoe repair place — not sure why it was classified as such.
I am writing because I’ve been very pleased with the consistently good and kind service here. All shoes are high quality, and are basically ‘good’ for your feet.
Most recently I went to return a pair of shoes that I’d bought at another Clarks out of state (DC), and they realized that there was an erroneous pricing (to my detriment). I too had noticed the erroneous pricing, but was not able to address it at the original place of purchase — as I was short on time.
The Clarks in Dedham spent time to understand what happened and refunded the difference to me explaining and apologizing all the while. They also offered me a coupon as part of an apology.
I was not surprised that the store put me, a consistent customer ahead of 20 bucks that they could have made. I really appreciated the care they took in rectifying a different store’s error — to my benefit and glee.
So I had to write about it! Will continue to be a happy Clarks customer for a long time to come.
