The club was pretty cool. It is a hole in the wall but you know that !!! I like the grown folk crowd.
What I don’t like it charging me a $ 2 fee to use a credit card without informing me. Who cares about $ 2 but it is the principle. There is no way they are charged $ 2 or close to that for credit card transaction fees. I agree with a previous poster and need to find out how to report that.
If you go take cash and be prepared to be walked over all night. Very Tiny spot !!!

Why 3? You have to understand where you’re going. Its a hole in the wall soul music spot for the grown and sexy crowd 40 – 50. The food is so so the service is nice but surly and its a pay as you go place. It is what it is.

A true hole in the wall, The club is small and gets very crowded on Wednesday nite. Wednesday nite is ladies nite combined with an extended happy hour. however they charge admission after 7 oclock. Based on my experience generally ladies are free all nite on ladies nite.
I’ve never gotten there in time to sample the free food but I have ordered from the kitchen and the wings are good and reasonably priced. The drinks are hit or miss. They have 2 bars and generally 3 bartenders I dont think any of them have been to bartenders school. They are not up to date on the latest cocktails and dont seem to know how to mix anything that requires more than 2 ingredients, the drinks are never served in the proper cocktail glass so you never get a full shot of alcohol nor the correct amount of mixer therefore your drink never taste like it should. I’ve had to send my drink back on more than one occassion. The bartenders and waite staff will get an attitude with you when you send a drink back. I had a bartender refuse to remix my drink, then talked about me complaining to a customer that was sitting at the bar, while I was standing there. Attempts to find someone in charge to complain were useless.
I can do with out the bathroom attendent. The ladies room has two stalls and one sink and like most ladies room its always crowded and there is always a line. I understand that having a bathroom attendent is to give the place some class however in this case she is just taking up space. Also it will take a lot more than a bathroom attendent to give this place some class.
I have learned this is a cash establishment pay as you drink and always pay with cash as they charge you a fee each time they run your debit card so it is always best to run a tab if you use a debit card so you will only be charged a fee once. Ive learned that you will be quoted a different price for a drink depending who you order from the bartenders give you one price if you order at the bar and the waittress will quote you something different when she comes to your table Not sure if they are trying to work a extra tip in on the sly or what.
The DJ plays a old school mix with some hip hop and regge blended in. The atmosphere is generally charged the dance floor is small but I usually have a good time.

DONT GO TO THIS «LOUNGE»! Hoodrat Lounge should be the name of this dingy spot. The interior is straight UGLY. The chairs and tables are cheap and probably stolen from an old restaurant. The space is tight and loud and they try to rip you off. Not only was my total bill more than the two drinks I bought cost but they used my signature to fraudulently withdraw money from my bank account. Now, when i try to speak with someone who can fix the fraudulent charge there is no one available. I leave messages to no avail. Well, thankfully I have my original receipt and a License to practice law. This business will pay for its blatantly fraudulent activities! But let this serve as a warning to anyone who likes a classy Lounge: stay away from this «hoodrat lounge».

This place is the very definition of a Hole In the Wall. This is one of those lounges that I really could care less if I ever go, but I always end up going because they offer free dinner for ladies night on Wed, and they have half priced drinks. And because one of my very good friends likes to go there. That is about all the good I can say about this place.
It gets SUPER crowded in here. This place is about the size of someone’s finished basement, and they violate that whole maximum capacity number that every building has. The last time I was there I couldn’t move AT ALL. At that point I decided that if there was a fire that we were all going to die because no one would be able to get out fast enough. That’s when I left.
The DJ plays the same set of music everytime I am in there… so boring.
They charge you $ 2 when you use your credit or debit card (I am currently in the process of reporting them for that… you shouldn’t punish the customer for using a debit/​credit card in your establishment.)
When you order a cocktail, it is going to come in a glass the size of a sippy-​cup with 50 percent ice…
There are a whole bunch of middle aged women in there clinging onto the last shred of their youth by dressing as hoochie as they possibly can…
The last time I was in there it seemed as if I was getting mean mugged by alot of women in there (maybe it’s because I was 29?) Who knows?
Parking is a nightmare… the lot is so small that all the parking quickly over flows into this church parking lot on the right and the CVS parking lot on the left (which I have never felt comfortable parking at, but do anyway becuause there is nowhere else to park).
Sadly even after all my complaints I will more than likely be back again because of the free food… but I am an early bird. I bring cash, I get in, and I am out before the DJ plays the R Kelly set…

ANY OTHER DAY Ask for Sean he can fry some stuff. Catfish is stupendous, tip the cook! Drinks are reasonable but strong! You will enjoy the old school rnb music and a touch of blues. The djs are awesome and the dancefloor is small. The joint is small so if you fo alone you will not feel lonely. Casual but sexy will get you some good conversation and maybe a drink. After hours no tennis shoes
