As the line from the old ad campaign went, «I can’t believe I ate the whole thing» may well have been first spoken here. The Ice Cream deserts are huge, and reasonably priced. Service was fantastic Never went for the food, so no comment on that, this is after all an ice cram parlor.

Service is so slow and the food is only OK. We’ve gone here many times and the service has been slow, but lately it has been REALLYSLOW. You might make allowances for spectacular food, but what they serve here is mediocre at best. I’m afraid they are off our list now…

I love the hayloft. I grew up goin there, but I only order their icecream. I never tried their other items on the menu. But WOW they give a person ALOT of ice cream! It’s good too. The ice cream I usually get is the brownie Sunday. It comes in this huge pretty glass bowl that looks like a goblet. With huge chunks of brownies. Plus the scenery there is very pretty and relaxing, because it’s out in the country. It’s a nice family place to take the kids to or would make a nice daytime date where a couple can relax.

I love this place. The sandwiches and pizza are delicious and the ice cream — WOW. I’m not even a huge ice cream person but I live for their blueberry cobbler. The combination of warm biscuit and fruit, with cold, melty ice cream — mmmm. I would recommend that you order your food and ice cream together, because it does take a while. Or go mentally preparing yourself to wait, even if they’re not packed(which they usually are!)

Love the hayloft! Great ice cream and atmosphere you can’t beat free mini golf! Do yourself a favor and check it out. A little more expensive than most places but it is worth it.

We dove quite a ways for this place, we heard the ice cream was good and the sizes were huge, first off they didn’t have any of the yogurt that they said they had and didn’t know the difference between yogurt and sugar free ice cream… we ended up getting a baby cone for our son at just under $ 3.00, It was big for being called a baby cone, not huge, but a full large scoop of ice cream, however I do wish they would have had a smaller size with a smaller price, for the little ones. I ordered a almost $ 5.00 waffle cone that while being on the bigger size for a small was not big compared to the price.(anywhere you go a cone that size would cost you less) It was very freezer burned. eww

I have never been so disappointed or disgusted by a dining experience than that at the Hayloft. We have been there many times in the past, but only to the walk up window for ice cream cones. My husband and I stopped for a sandwich and shake tonight for dinner. The shakes came out after we had finished the sandwich and when we got them imagine my disgust at the cup being duct taped together. Do you know how much bacteria can build up under that duct tape?!? I told the waitress that I could not drink the shake because I didn’t think it was healthy and she said, Sorry about that but offered no discount or refund. I paid $ 6.00 for a shake I couldn’t drink. I will be calling the owner and took a picture to provide to the health department. Surely that has to be a health department violation of some sort. If you are going to eat at The Hayloft, stick to ice cream in a cone, otherwise, BEAFRAID… BEVERYAFRAID.

NEVEREATANYTHINGBIGGERTHANYOURHEAD Wiser words have never been spoken, but I made an exception for the gonzo, gargantuan, Godzilla-sized portions at the Hayloft. They do not mess around here. A single scoop here is at least two giant baseball-sized scoops of QUALITY ice cream. At $ 2.59, this is a steal! Heck, even the«baby scoop» portion was bigger than a single scoop at most places. As you can imagine, the sundaes are even bigger and are best left to small families and those training for Man vs. Food type challenges.
