Upon our arrival at this establishment, we were not greeted by any of the staff. this did not leave a good impression with us as we entered the restaurant. After about five minutes one of the waiters finally came to the front and seated us. The same waiter took our order with ease no problems. Our food arrived quickly and was excellent. I had the chicken with pineapple and ham. It came with cheese dip however I chose to not get the cheese dip which was a good choice. The chicken and the pineapple were excellent, well cooked, and I enjoyed it greatly. The environment was quiet there were not a lot of people in there.
Overall despite the initial entrance to the establishment, the rest of our experience was very good. If you were in the area looking for Mexican food, I would recommend this restaurant.

Sorry, not very good imitation of Mexican food. I had the Tamales Tipico. When they were brought to the table they were tepid at best. I sent them back to be re-​heated. That was first clue that the tamales were of the frozen variety. No flavor, were supposed to be beef tamales, not, chicken or some kind of mystery meat. Chips and salsa were uninspiring too. I won’t be back, there are several good to very good Mexican restaurants in Decatur, why waste money on one that isn’t even able to serve hot food…

Had a nice lunch here, and It was pretty quick, which is what I needed. the #4 lunch special is what I would suggest. the free salsa they bring out its homemade & very good. the pop I had was good as well, and not to carbonated. if I’m in Decatur again I’ll be sure to stop in four another good meal.

nasty stay away if your from so cal or anywhere west dont want to even give it a star that bad beef is ground not shredded

1st night had strong margaritas and OK food. 2nd time was Ok on both fronts. Tonight had to add a shot to taste the alcohol and they were more interested in prepping for closing with more than an hour to go before close than providing service. Thank goodness for the free chips and salsa.

Coming from Southern Cali and Texas. I have had better tacos off of the street stands in LA and downtown Houston than this place served. It’s good but authentic, not really.

This is a high energy and fast paced restaurant with excellent service. It has a standard Mexican menu with daily specials. The food seems to be a little spicer than other Mexican restaurants in the area (which I think is a good thing). Great margaritas.
