Decatur Country Club

The club has greatly improved in the past few years! If you have not been in a while, you should definitely go check it out. The staff is very welcoming and nice. The club house food is great. Lunch buffet on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Each week the kitchen has to-​go pre cooked hot dinner (accompanied by rolls, salad, desert, and sides) for four. You call that morning and go pick it up that evening (they even walk it out to your car!) If you are 21 and older, most nights you can go eat dinner in the bar, a great and fun way to watch sports and see people. They also have $ 5 Tuesday’s, which is a pre set menu for only $ 5/​person, bingo night, and other themed nights… Great for kids! The pool is very enjoyable, reliable lifeguards. There is a snack shack next to the pool with snacks, sandwiches, chicken fingers, burgers, etc. The course is nice and enjoyable. Summers are a lot of fun at the club!!!

Just ok. I played a tournament today on the course. It was average at best. Tee boxes weren’t level and greens were brown in spots with uneven grass. The fairways were in good shape, though. Nothing to write home about.
