I really like this place. I enjoy the jalapeño dip and have been pleased with all of my food. I really enjoyed the Shrimp Burrito, Mercedes Special, and the authentic chicken in hot sauce dish. I didn’t give it 5 stars because sometimes the service is hit or miss. Although my last visit, we had a young man that just started serving tables. He was very friendly and personable. He was working out ‘newbie’ kinks, but I hope to get him again.

My food was hot around the edges but cold in the center with gristle bits in the taco meat and I got major attitude when I asked the waitress to take it back. I saw a roach in the lady’s room and didn’t find it amusing to be made fun of in another language by the staff (I speak Spanish). This place used to be amazing. I guess the awards went to the owner (s) head (s) and they believe they don’t have to try anymore. Good luck with that. We won’t be back. By the way, that roach was headed straight for the kitchen.

Definitely my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Decatur. Jalapeño dip… Yum! Tacos Carne Asada… Yum! Add the two together and you have a happy fat kid. Oh, and you can get them with bacon too. Also love the Pollo Oaxaca and their Chile Poblanos.
Service is typically very good, and then Management is excellent and visible.

This one should be a rating of 2.5. The service has been so slow and forgetful the last few times we have been here I really dont feel it deserves a 3 star rating, but the food is still excellent so I couldnt give them 2 stars.
