Do you know who to call if you ever have a broken window? Serious question. Like Dennis the Menace or the neighborhood rascal hits a baseball through your glass, and you just need someone to come and replace a pane. Googling«window repair» will usually bring up like 60% results for automotive window repair, with the other 40% primarily being handymen and companies who will gladly charge you upwards of $ 1,200 to replace the entire window outright. Seriously, I spent two weeks trying to find anyone to come out to my neighborhood in the sticks but still a part of Fulton County. Home Depot came out and naturally quoted me $ 1,200 to replace the entire window. Another company no-showed my appointment and didn’t follow through outright. Finally, I got one company to come out, hoping to hear a quote of something not four digits long. They did me better, and let me know that what I needed all along was reglazing. REGLAZING. I needed to have a window reglazed. Seriously, who knows this kind of terminology? Clearly lots of people not me, but I digress. With correct knowledge of what I needed now, I was able to search for someone who could alleviate me of my cracked window. After an afternoon of cold-calling companies, only to hear the reluctance and inflated costs to come out to my neck of the woods, I came across Atlanta Renovations. Decatur? Surely, they wouldn’t come out to Fairburn. But they have a review from someone from Kenessaw? Sure enough, Juan was willing to come to my home. He showed up on time, wasted no time, took measurements, accurately assessed what I needed, and gave me my free estimate. It wasn’t $ 1,200. Not even close. A day later, he was back to my house, and in literally under 30 minutes, he had my window back in place, as good as the day my house was built. Juan was friendly, very responsive, beat everyone’s estimate like Rousey beat Correia, he cuts his own glass, shows up on time, and does impeccable work. So to answer the question, do you know who to call if you break a window? The answer is really simple, if you live remotely within reasonable Metro Atlanta city limits: you call Juan.

One of the panes on my front door was broken, so I called Juan and he came by the next day and fixed it under 20 minutes. He was quiet and noninvasive and he cuts his own glass so its very fast and very affordable. I would recommend him to anyone. Great job!
