Wow. This is one the best Middle Eastern places I’ve been to. Phenomenal well cooked lamb(haneeth)and rice and hot tandoori bread with the bubbling fahsah… Even though I try not to eat much meat but I really can’t hold my self back. the place is very unique, Crystal clean specially the«bathrooms». Staff will literally make you feel like ur home. Sheba definitely earned me as a loyal customer.

They’re very generous. If you don’t eat salt often like me you’ll find salty. I personally thought the chicken and the meat here are much better than fish. They give great Yemeni complimentary tea at the end of the meal. Overall I would come here again when I’m in the mood for spicy rice and meat. Not too many vegetables are involved with the plates tho.

Great food. Recommend their Lamb haneeth and Chicken Galabba. Compared to other location this one is one with better ambiance so can take your significant other for a date. Good spot for vegetarians also. For non meat eaters recommend Foul(mashed beans with egg), Saltah(veggie stew) and Shafoot(bread and yogurt)

Thumps up for the best mid-eastern restaurants I’ve been to. We were four of us. Each one got a different item so we can try different plates. Basically all of them were phenomenal. The lamb haneeth was the best lamb I’ve had. Really really tender and well seasoned. Very very clean environment. Great staff. Great service. Am definitely bringing my family on the weekend.

Absolutely fantastic food. Make sure to get the shared platter. I was surprised to find out that this restaurant is only four months old. Very well run.

I’ve not had much middle eastern food, but I absolutely loved this place. Absolutely would recommend and will be back if I’m ever back in Detroit. Nash, the manager made sure to stop at our table and he’s awesome! Make sure to talk to him. Very friendly and a great guy to talk to.

Brand new Middle Eastern/Yemen restaurant located in the middle of East Dearborn. This is not another Arabic shish-ka-bob restaurant. In fact we were the only white people in there. They serve real homestyle food, generous portions, with a nice clean atmosphere. Even the other patrons smelled good, like drakor-nor cologne. The lamb soup is all broth that reminds me of long slow simmer of bones to make a stock. We had Lamb Heeneth a sort of lamb roast with basmati rice and a small garnish of potato and zucchini. After the first bite my husband was silent the rest of the meal as he devoured every morsel of lamb from the bone. The salad was like a fatosh salad except that the greens were fresh and crisp and cut slightly bigger than traditional arabic fatosh. A must try if you want a real middle eastern experience. I reserve the last star because the waitress was slow on the salad and brought it out minutes before the meal and we had to ask for bread. Other than that we were very happy we went and will return with friends.

Amazing Middle-Eastern/Yemeni food. It was my first time every trying Yemeni food and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is very new while still feeling very home-y and personal. All of the wait staff are incredibly welcoming and nice, especially our waiter who ended up being the manager. We originally ordered the Sheeba Tray for Two but our waiter really insisted we get the Sheeba for Two Platter with the lamb haneeth. We also got the fahsah. We received complimentary salad and soup(lentil or lamb… with all the lamb we were about to consume we went with the lentil) and they were decent but detractors from the more delicious things to come. The Fahsah came out incredibly hot and bubbling. After letting it cool down for a bit we dug into it with the fresh oven bread and it was incredibly comforting. It was a flavorful mixture of lamb, spices, tomatoes, and some potatoes and went great with the bread. We quickly finished that and anticipated the main course. The lamb haneeth came out on a large metal tray. A very generous bed of rice was on the bottom, two portions of lamb massloug were on either side, and the delicious slow roasted lamb was proudly in the middle. Everything was incredible. The lamb haneeth was unbelievably tender and flavorful. The massluog was actually very good and a nice change from just pure roasted lamb. The rice and bread were great vehicles to get all this delicious food in mouths. Overall, this place is great. It is lively and you can tell it’s a valued fixture in the community. I can’t wait to try it again!

I ordered chicken haneeth togo and they gave me lamb haneeth. I called them to tell them about it. Without apologizing, they said can you come back and bring the lamb with you? I came back within 10 minutes to get my whole chicken half-cooked even though I said well-done. They took the lamb from me straight to the kitchen. I am sure they will sell it to someone else. They should not serve retuned food to their customers because the customers don’t pay their money for returned food. They should take responsibility and offer more than a confused smile. Never going back.

This place is nice. Parking was a hassle even though there is a parking lot available. Seems like the crowd from the hookah place next door, end up parking by the restaurant. Food was good. Service was great. The Yemini tea is delicious.

Very good chicken gallabah, lentil soup, and a bonus cup of cardamom-laced Yemeni tea! Clean, neat surroundings, and although it’s not very high on ambiance, I enjoyed my meal thoroughly. Service was great, people very nice.

Delicious delicious mouth watering food. We had the feast for 4. Rice and warm bread from their tandoor came with 4 kinds of different meat dishes with an awesome fresh relish. Lime juice was so fresh ! Ending with tea and Yemeni dessert(complimentary). Clean well decorated restaurant with friendly service frequented by Yemeni folks.

Fabulous! I was excited to try Yemen food for the first time and this restaurant did not disappoint. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the food? Yum. Tried the falafel, salad, lentil soup, lamb fattah, lamb agada, tanoor and tea. Way more food than the two of us could eat, but everything was really good. Definitely worth the trip!
