Waffle House

Over the year’s, Waffle House has remained the same. You can always count on being greeted when you walk in; a friendly home style environment; friendly staff; fast food; really reasonable prices. They’re always quick to fix any human error in food if it’s too done, or not done enough. They are open 365 days a year, even on Christmas! And yes, I have gone here on Christmas morning for breakfast! It was busy but good.

The staff at this waffle house are exceptionally good. Service was quick. For fast food I was surprised how good the eggs and waffle were. The syrup wasn’t from a maple tree but that’s my only complaint. For a quick stop off the 70 this was a pleasant surprise.

The waitress was almost as cold as my biscuit and gravy.

I enjoyed the people that worked there and the food was mediocre. I appreciated them.

This Waffle House is like ALL Waffle Houses — Quick, Cheap and consistently good ‘late night’ or ‘on the road’ food.
I stopped in for a quick bite of breakfast and some coffee at about 9:00 AM and it was a fairly busy morning for them. Still, I was waited on almost immediately and I had a cup of coffee poured as soon as I turned the cup right side up. That’s what W.H. is all about, they don’t mess around.
I ordered Hashbrowns — Covered, Smothered and Capped (Cheese, Onions and Mushrooms) with a scrambled egg. Time from placing order to gettin’ in my belly: ’bout 5 minutes. Satisfaction Level: High.
Pricing is cheap, about $ 10 for 1 scrambled egg, the hash, coffee and a S.E.C sandwich to-​go.
Waffle House is my go-​to place when road-​trippin’ south.

For a Waffle House this place is pretty good. We have eaten here a few times and the staff is nice, the service is fast and the food is decent. If you want quick cheap food. This is your place.
