Horribly slow service but I dealt with it twice during my stay in the area because I was craving a frozen treat.

Wow, I normally love Sonic but I should have read the reviews before pulling in to this one in Dayton, Oh. Very slow & once food delivered it must have been sitting for a long time as bun was hard! Then I looked & my burger had nothing that I asked for on it! Pushed button for service &5 minutes later someone answered, so told them the sandwich was wrong & recited what I originally requested. Was told the sandwich would be right out … 5 more minutes passed & I drove off. I gave one star because the soda was good guess I’ll be leery of stopping at Sonics from now on! At the very least I’ll check Unilocal Reviews first!

Exit 38 off of I 70 is the WORSTSONICEVER! Nasty had to throw my hot dog away after they made it for a second time, after they bring my tatie tots she ask if I want ketchup, yes I say, they needed salt too but after having to wait I didn’t ask, I think O’CHEAPOOWNSTHISSONIC! DON’T STOPWISHWEDIDN’T

Ordered four items, Waited 20 minutes and a confused woman came out explaining to us that she had an order but wasn’t sure who’s it was. She read it to us and it contained one of the things we ordered but not the rest so we said it wasn’t ours. Another few minutes pass and she returns to reveal that for whatever reason she only read a portion of the order initially and that it was in fact ours. She then told us she’d «be right out» with our food. She returned 20 minutes later with MOST of our food and we had to tell her we were missing an item. She acted indignant as if we were lying to her, after THEY had been confused and wasted so much of our time. She returned about 5 minutes later with THEWRONGSANDWICH. we were too fed up to even say anything. Perhaps the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. Almost an hour spent wating for«fast» food. I don’t even like leaving reviews, especially negative ones. But I had to share my pain with SOMEONE.

My wife and I went to this sonic late one monday. Sonic is usually pretty good, since we aren’t from this area we had never been to this particular location until now. The food came fast, but it wasn’t that great. My wife and I got the same sandwich, hers was very dry and mine was dripping with sauce. There was a strawberry leaf in my wife’s drink… yea not great.

I love sonic. I think the food is great and the service is usually even better. However, going to Sonic at this particular location on a Saturday morning at 8:30 and being told that they have decided not to open until 10 is really not winning them any points.

I love Sonic. They have the best food and I believe they are the best. This particular location however, has been running slower recently. Over the last 2 visits, it has taken over 30 minutes to get out of the drive thru with only 3 cars in front of me. They used to be very fast but seem to be lacking since summer hit. I hope they provide faster service moving forward. Until then I’ll be visiting one of the other sonic locations.

I mostly go to this SONIC for the happy hour drinks, but have bought both food and desserts too. I have visited this particular SONIC about 15 times. Overall, they do a good job. I have never had to wait or had trouble with the staff. The food is what SONIC food should be fast, hot and yummy greasy.

I love Sonic. I just have to get that out of the way. However, I have had several experiences with local Sonics lately that have just left … well, NO taste in my mouth at all. Last week, I went to the Sonic in Huber Heights, which is, incidentally, very convenient to the highway. My husband and I pulled in, decided on our meals, and pushed the red button. And waited. And waited. And waited. The red button was flashing. I pushed it again, just in case. NOTHING. TWELVE minutes later we were still waiting on someone at this«fast» food restaurant to take our order. I understand that sometimes things happen in the kitchen. But a «Be Right With You» goes a long way. I will not even attempt to eat at this Sonic again.
