I called to see how long of a wait they had on this particular Saturday evening. I was told there was a 40 minute wait and we’re all booked up for the evening with reservations. We decided to try our luck with seating anyway when we arrived to Downtown Dayton 15 minutes later. There was NOONE waiting and were plenty of empty tables, so we were seated immediately. However, we received horrific service… management was good to us after realizing that we sat for close to 30 minutes without even a drink order taken. When the drinks came(approximately 10 minutes later) they weren’t what we had ordered. The manager had to take our order because the waitress still hadn’t come to the table(however, another waitress had attempted to serve us). One food order came out wrong, one came out with cold fries, one was a salad with wilted spinach, the other was«ok». We will not be going back. Such a shame to have an establishment in such a great location giving such bad service.

Visited here for dinner with my family. My significant other and I were running a few minutes late so we arrived after the other part of our party had been seated. After we ordered our drinks(water) and it took over 15 minutes before the server came back with them which was strange because the restaurant was at most half full(we arrived at the end of the dinner rush). The food came and it was pretty good, a bit pricey for what you get. After we had all had just a few bites of our food the server comes back over asking if we needed a box or were interested in dessert. It was just odd because we had JUST started eating. Someone in my party asked for a refill on their soda and the server said they had no more glasses so it would be a while. Shortly before leaving another member of my party asked for a refill on her iced tea to be told they did not have any more tea made. It was a strange experience, the restaurant acted like they were getting ready to close even though we left before 9 pm and we asked the server what time they closed and she said not until 11 pm. The pizza was decent but I will not be returning due to the poor and strange service. I had heard so many good things about Uno’s and it was very unfortunate to have the evening we did.

this restaurant was okay. my daughter order the burger sliders and I ordered a flat bread pizza. My pizza excelled my expectation, and was large inside. But my daughters burger sliders had a hair in it!!! She pulled out the skewer and out came a blond hair with cheese on it!!! the staff was nice about it, but it took a while for the sliders to be remade. the deserts were quite delicious though. There menu was quite big with a variety of options, but I wish it had more detail on the food option. Also I would like more Normal food chooses, or at least have the option written on the menu for your choose of toppings. My over all option on the restaurant is I would come back, but I have other restaurants that come before this.

I am very impressed and pleased with the management at UNOs Dayton, within a day of my original post on 4÷20÷15, we were contacted and asked to provide details of our visit. Both the restaurant manager and District GM reached out with apologies. We’ve eaten at this UNOs since and had a great experience… the night of our initial experience, the staff was definitely experiencing the perfect storm of issues… definitely not the typical experience. I highly recommend UNOs Dayton for great food and great service!

I have been to this location a few times, and I think it is great! We went for lunch, and the service was excellent(there were hardly any people in there). Their soup, salad and breadstick lunch is a great deal, and the food tastes great(honey crisp chicken salad is amazing). I’m not in Dayton often, but I love to come here for lunch when I am in town.

Great food, great waiter, no complaints. I see other people weren’t crazy about the service but my waiter was awesome! I will definitely going back :)

The food was awesome but the wait staff is a little slow and seemed to be on the grumpy side. The bar tender and the manager seemed be extremely positive! !!

Stopped in to grab a drink with my wife before a show, we waited no less than 10 to place a drink order for two beers. Than had to place it with the second bar tender because the first one forgot it. Then waited another 10 minutes to get the drinks. There were never more than 9 people sitting at the bar counting the two of us. With 2 bartenders it still took 20 minutes get two beers.

Not bad but not that great either. The salad that came with my lunch was pretty sad. I wouldn’t go as far as saying it was Chicago pizza but Chicago wanna be. Not a place I’ll go back to.

The only reason I gave this a 4 star and not 5 was because the service wasn’t great. My husband and I have called ahead 2 times and both times we have given them 30 minutes at least to make the pizza. Upon arriving at Uno’s to pick up the pizza, our order had been misplaced. Both Times. But when we got the pizza it was most definitely the best Chicago style pizza I had ever had. If you are ever in the Dayton area you should definitely try Uno’s out but expect to wait a little bit on your order.

I ate here at noon on a Saturday. We were seated right away. The server was friendly and energetic but forgetful. I had to order lemon for my ice water three times. When he did bring the lemon, I didn’t have any water left and he just said, «there you go» and walked away! Another female server spent the entire time texting by the drink station and never looked up. The place was clean. I got the mac and cheese with a small lunch classic pizza. The mac and cheese was ok, but the pizza tasted like the cook poured stewed tomato and cheese soup over day-old biscuits! HORRIBLE! It upset my stomach, so I ordered a glass of White Zin. It was very smooth and tasty The bill came to $ 26. My friend had the sliders and loved them. The next time I eat after a show, I’m leaving downtown to get better food and service.

Ordered sirloin and grilled shrimp. Steak was overcooked and flavorless and shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. Only positive was that my work picked up the bill. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable.

We were there trying to have a beer before show across the street. Sat at the bar and finally after 15 minutes of waiting and being ignored we had to ask if we could have a beer. They ran out of clean glasses behind the bar but luckily he was able to scrounge up a newer filthier glass from a box in the storeroom. He didn’t bother to was them and my wife wouldn’t touch her beer. Also disgusted to watch the girl sitting next to us at the bar pull a hair out of her sandwich. Thank goodness we didn’t go there for dinner, trying to get a beer was difficult enough.

When I first stepped off of Main Street into Uno, I was impressed by the spotless floor area, décor, and warm greeting we received from two of the staff. But that was about as good as it got. I ordered a signature deep dish pizza and it was … unremarkable. I have no obvious complaints, but it didn’t wow me. Their beer and wine list is also unremarkable. After that great initial greeting, the service was, also, unremarkable. It felt a lot like eating pizza at home but I didn’t have to clean the table afterward. I wouldn’t necessarily steer people away from this place, there just isn’t any compelling reason to go.

The décor within the place is pretty cool and will keep your attention. The food is sub-par for a sit down restaurant. Definitely not the best and definitely not the worst. Parking is always a hassle in Downtown Dayton. Probably very convenient for those individuals who work downtown.

It wasn’t easy to park nearby, but the sign on Main Street is what drew us in. The first sign that this could be a bust was the heated discussion of where to seat our group of four. It took four staff members to decide where to seat us and finally after the monumental decision was made, we were seated in an almost empty restaurant. Maybe the decision had to do with the distribution of customers to a staff that was not earning enough in tips. I don’t know, but the rest of the experience easily explains the nearly empty restaurant. We ordered various items. My brother and I decided to split a large deep dish pizza. We were surprised when it came as it was about the same size as the kids pizzas that we ordered for the two four year olds at the table. «Is this really the large?», my brother asked. «I think it is the small», said the waitress, but then she looked at the order and we had ordered a large. So she said«No, it must be a large.» Oh well, it wasn’t worth arguing about. It took so long to get served that we just ate it and moved on. I ordered an iced tea and the only non sweetened one they had was plain and it tasted like powdered. Yuck. We ordered milks for the kids and after waiting geological time frames for it, with the kids asking where their drinks were, the waitress told us that they were out of milk. So they kids had apple juice. Do restaurants run out of milk? I have been to Unos elsewhere and always had a decent to great experience. But this location needs some management.

I was not impressed with the Chicago-style pizza at all. I felt it was just not up to par with other pizza places especially when I first had Chicago style in Chicago. The atmosphere was not that great when we were there. They barely had any customers. Not a place I would do for pizza in Dayton especially when Dewey’s is not too far from Uno’s.

I’m quite surprised that there are no reviews of this place! Come on Dayton-ians, Unilocal more! This place has some great Chicago-style brick décor with high ceilings, delicious deep dish pizza, and a phenomenal dish called«haddock.» For being a pizza place, their salmon was surprisingly delicious! Make sure you order the specialties(the ones that have the Chef icon — that means they’re REALLY good at cooking that one). NUMEROUNO® — The One.
