Besides the shopping, Hank’s is the reason we come to Dayton Farmer’s Market. Their brisket here is just as good as the home store. They really pile on the meat onto their sandwiches. My husband and I get a roast beef and Texas style brisket sandwich and swap halves since we can’t ever decide between the two. Potato salad and mac n cheese are to die for. Prices are very reasonable. We also like that this location has the option to get to go of your Hank’s favorites already packed up and easy for pick up. Makes taking some brisket for later super convenient. Love that the tables are super long/family style so you get to sit and talk with other customers. Maybe the other patrons who wrote reviews were grumpy that day? There’s no way this place deserves any less than 5 stars.

Keeping it simple, this remote of the larger Hank’s actually does a better job with consistent flavor quality. Friendly staff will allow you to sample anything you aren’t sure about. The pulled pork is done Texas style, which is not my favorite, but they don’t overwhelm the meat with sauce so diners can make the sandwich their own. Cole slaw is nothing special. They should try a little flair there.

Used to come here every Friday for lunch. Used to look forward to it. But then the wraps started getting smaller and smaller and smaller until you took a bite and it was 20% turkey cheese and onion, 40% lettuce, and 40% tortilla. I don’t know if the need to retrain how how to wrap a tortilla or what but for a lunch entrée it is pathetic. The cashier is very cool, nice. The rest of the staff are in another world. This review is not a reflection of the rest of the Farmers Market.
