The office manager eventually told me that none of the staff, including her, has ever had any HIPAA training.
When I got to go to a competent doctor, he couldn’t believe my prescription could be less than a year old with how far wrong it was, let alone just four months. He got me new lenses that let me see 20:15, while I was still only seeing 20:50 with the «corrected» Eye-​Mart lenses.
I have never received any of my $ 292.04 back, despite having no contacts, incorrect glasses, and no successful vision or contact lens exams. As long as their myriad of commercials keep promising cheap prices, customers keep coming in, and they just don’t care if the customers are happy enough to come back again.
