The chips have wheat flour in them, so if you’re gluten free you can’t eat them. This seemed odd to me considering every other Mexican restaurant you go to serves corn tortilla chips, but whatever. We did ask if there was a way to have corn tortilla chips and they said no. It’s not a deal breaker for me but it’s also not fun watching everyone else eat the chips and salsa while you just sit there. If you look hard enough, there are gf food options like wings or ceviche. They have good drink prices, and Angry Orchard on tap. When we went they had a band playing so that was fun. Loud, but fun

We are in town fishing at Lake Chickamauga & decided to eat somewhere other than the Huddle House. This town has tons of Mexican restaurants so we went to the one that had the most cars in the parking lot assuming food must be good. Food was not so great. My quesadilla was pretty good but the burrito my husband got was awful. I gave him part of my food because he couldn’t eat his. I would pass on this joint in the future.

I’d say 4 or 5!!! Why? It’s delicious. Prompt, polite service. Tasty; not that horribly bland(fake) Mex in a strip mall that is overpriced and under seasoned. I’d take this no frills joint to get my legit craving satisfied, and this place was… an oasis! Amended***They just moved across the street in a bigger and better location: much more fabulous than the aforementioned humble abode. To continue… Fresh chips and fresh salsa, check. Good beans on my tostada, check. Chicken taco… Not bad! Love the crema and avacado on my tostada aswell. Best of all, get my *real cane sugar*Mexican Coke, in the bottle… Not that HFCS crap that’s at every store, every restaurant, everywhere! Thank you Delia’s!!! Side Note.: I’ve traveled to Mexico many, many times– muchos tiempos, Panama, Columbia, y tambien vive en Los Angeles para mas que dies anos… I like myself some Latin flavor~

Overall I love Delia’s. I usually visit about once per week, but I was really disappointed with my last visit. I work for a non-profit with tax exemption status and took my staff out to dinner. I also had a 10% off coupon. I was told, however, that I could not use both my institution’s tax exempt status and the 10% off coupon. I would have to choose one of the other. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told that she didn’t speak English and it wouldn’t do any good. The cashier explained that I couldn’t use two different methods of saving money for the same ticket and that I would have to choose to use either the coupon or the tax exemption. I argued that this was not a case of trying to use two different coupons together but rather that he was denying my institution it’s tax exempt status. Essentially, he seemed to believe that his business would lose more money if it were to honor both the coupon and the tax exemption when in reality the only way this is possible is if the business isn’t paying taxes. Very disappointed in what has always been a great place. In the end, I was forced to pay five dollars more than I should have. Five dollars isn’t all that much but I left feeling like I had been taken advantage of by a business I’ve trusted. I hope they rethink their policy on this matter.

I have never been to Mexico. So I cannot say whether the food at Delia’s Authentic Mexican Restaurant is truly«authentic». But I can say that it is truly delicious! Tacos or tamales are my go to but the chimichangas are great as well. Service is quick. Take out or eat inside. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

It was just average. Just moved to the area. Love Mexican food so decided to give it a try. Had the chicken quesadilla with rice and beans for sides. Service was good and staff was nice and attentive. Wasn’t blown away but good enough to where I’ll try it again at some point.

Okay everyone raves about this place so we gave it a try. Not the nicest place but I don’t judge on appearance. Service was not great. They charge extra for more chips and to go boxes. We just laughed. Food was okay not great. I say this because we love mexican food and go somewhere every week. We have high expectations. I give this place 3 out of 5 stars.

We were looking for a new place to try and noticed Delia’s on Unilocal. We live in Dayton and I thought it was take out only. We went on a Friday night at 6, and boy am I glad we did. Within 10 minutes, people were streaming in. I had pollo loco which was perfect. The chicken grilled just right, rice was fluffy and the sauce had just enough zing. My husband had the loaded nachos and Delia’s tacos. He was in love. This is now our go to place for Mexican food. The prices are good for the quality and the amount of food. TRYTHISRESTAURANT! You will not be disappointed.

Best authentic Mexican food ever! I’ve been to tons of so called Mexican restaurants in many major big cities. This one takes the cake! I no longer live in Rhea Co, but I do miss this restaurant! Great service as well!

Rockin food!!! Guacamole is amazing! And I would put their chorizo on anything! Seriously some if the best Mexican food I have had and such a cool little place. Definitely worth stopping. Don’t let the crazy horse statue and weird color fool you, this place is the bomb!
