The new location on First and Ludlow is fantastic! The whiting fish sandwich for lunch is a huge portion and very tasty. I’ve also had the jerk burger and it too was great. Service is super friendly. It’s not fast food. Be prepared to wait a few minutes as your order is custom prepared.

Delicous food! I’ve been here twice now since they’ve moved to their new location, and both times were great! The employees are friendly, and service is quick. I ordered the grilled fish and sweet potato fries on my first visit and the lamb burger with plantains on my second visit. Both are outstanding! The brown sugar lemonade is also very good. Will definitely be back!

The staff were very personable and the food was great! This is a small family-​owned spot with all of grandma’s recipes. God rest her soul. We had the whiting, rice and peas, cabbage, jerk and bbcue jerk wings, lamb burger, plantains, and both lemonades. Absolutely delicious… everything!!! Do take a stop and have a meal.

Tried this with my bud at lunchtime. I had the lamb burger with cole slaw, both were delicious. Price was reasonable, and I thought the service was good, and it felt genuine. Nice little joint, and it’s a two block walk from my building, so I plan to frequent this place.
I can’t recommend the cole slaw enough, and I plan to try as much as I can. Great first impression.

My aunt just recommended this spot and I made a point of checking it out as soon as they opened since I have had Zero west indian food after moving from NY.
Tried the ‘Daily Special’ of Curry Chicken with rice and peas and cabbage.
Pretty flavorful, nice portions and good price point as well.
Staff was very friendly and it’s a nice, open spot for dine in or take out. Plenty of light fare for those looking for something a bit healthier.

The jerk chicken is out standing a must if you like to dine downtown. Service is fast and friendly and a nice casual atmosphere. I’ll be back!

Love this place! Nice quiet charming restaurant. Carribean music with great food! The pricing is not bad and the people are extremely nice. Gem city punch is truly delish :) grilled fish with flavorful veggie medley and sweet potatoe fries was killer. Will definitely come back

I love the concept of this place and the food is very flavorful but I have to give it three stars because their dinners are children size. I don’t agree with over serving because large portions aren’t healthy and that would defeat their purpose of all natural healthy eating. I went there for some Caribbean inspired dinner and ordered their oxtail stew and while it was delicious, I’m disappointed to say I left there still hungry :(They served me a cookie scooper ball size of their rice with maybe ½ cup of oxtail stew and a stick with 4 grilled pieces of veggies. My husband ordered their coco bread chicken sandwich (the bread doesn’t taste like coco but maybe it’s not supposed to?) and the sandwich was huge & flavorful! Their brown sugar lemonade is good too. Service is really good as well as the atmosphere, but you might leave hungry.
