Dunkin’ Donuts

I went to this Dunkin Donuts just this afternoon to meet up with family. We frequent the DD in Gainesville, but came to the Dawsonville store today. Unfortunately, our experience was negative. The staff was short (only 2 people working on a Sunday), resulting in incredibly long waits just to get any attention from the workers. They were very rude when we needed assistance and the store was out of many supplies, like sweetener and sleeves for hot drinks. When I asked a worker for an additional cup to put my hot coffee in (to help with the hotness of the exterior, since they were out of sleeves), he handed me a cup with chocolate smeared all over it. Naturally, I asked for a clean cup, and the waiter was very rude about giving me a different one. Even though I live very close to this DD, I will not be returning.

Always fast service and awesome food. I normally get a coffee on the way to my treatments and same employees every time I come in.

My children love eating at this place! It’s our favorite weekend stop! Clean, friendly and delicious!

Went through the drive through and the girl working at the window had to ask for my order again. After telling her 3 times that I wanted a coolata she comes back with an iced latte. They have a small donut selection and they don’t seem fresh. I asked for a double chocolate donut and they were out… I then asked for a pumpkin pie donut and they were out. I ended up leaving with a stale glazed donut. This place needs to get it together.

I can’t be more dissatisfied with the way a business runs itself more than this place. While the placing is convenient and the building is clean every other aspect of this location is just awful. I have gone to this DD three times now. Each on my way to work. My order has been wrong EVERY time.
My first experience was just a simple iced coffee with French vanilla flavoring. They were out of the flavor and instead of informing me of this, they just didn’t add flavor and let me find this out once I got to work. When I had to waste time and money to get this issue fixed the staff was understanding but the woman who gave me this drink through drive through was giving me rude looks throughout the time I was in there.
My second experience was with my bagel. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese. When I got to work I saw they had given me a plan, not toasted bagel with no cream cheese.
My third experience from earlier today was my usual bagel, iced coffee, and a bottled coke. I got to the window and saw they were charging my for a medium hot coffee. I informed them this wasn’t my order and the door was quickly shut in my face. She asks what I had a few moments later so she charges me for my things but forgets the coke and I just decided to get that item elsewhere so I could get to work. The manager sees her employee looking for my order and starts screaming at her and was very rude in front of me. The manager then grabs my bagel and hands it to me aggressively saying «here you go» in a short, annoyed manner. I get to work to find out they gave me hazelnut iced coffee instead of vanilla and my bagel was burned. Not to mention it took me 11 minutes to get through the drive thru when there were only three cars in front of me with small orders. I will NEVER return to this Dunkin until they get new management and staff. What an awful way to run your business and treat your customers.

This is needed in this area. The service can be a bit slow, but it depends on when you go. If you have several people infront of you with coffee orders, expect a little wait time. This holds true for inside or drive thru. The donuts and coffee are good so often I have not minded the wait.
It’s clean inside and they have free wifi.

This location and staff must be brand new. Took forever to get bagel sandwich made. We were all done eating before the sandwich was even ready. I ordered a donut for my daughter and Girl at register walked away and got the donut and was upset after I then ordered one for myself. Only thing going for them is location. Nothing else around here. All the tables were dirty, we had to clean up someone else’s garbage and wipe up our own table.

Clean and fast! I love the seating area and it is perfect for traveling sales people like myself. They have a USB and AC charger at every seat/​table although the seating area is very small. I tried their Vanilla Latte and was surprisingly decent although it’s nothing to write home about. Overall it’s a great addition to Dawsonville!

It’s convenient to the mall with easy access from Hwy. 400, so the location is perfect. The new seating set up with leather lounge chairs, table seating, and bar seating takes this location into a more small town coffee shop direction, which is going to be great for DD. The service is great on this their opening day, but they will need to continue to keep it consistent to keep these foot of the mountain southerners happy and coming back. As always the doughnuts were good.
