Finally tried this place out, and I’m mad I didn’t come sooner. I had a turkey sandwich on a cheesy pesto bagel with sun dried tomato paste, provolone cheese, and a shit ton of veggies… I was intimidated by the size and veggie to meat ratio initially, but it was perfect! Not something I would’ve picked on my own, but I’m glad the owner recommended it. The prize was pretty pricey, but given the size of the sandwich, I paid about $ 7. They have a pitcher of ice cold lemon water. Not too excited about the price, but I know I’ll be back to try some other stuff!

Best bagels in town! Even better than Noah’s!!! Their flavored bagels and spreads are the best. I usually get the Marinara bagel with garlic and herbs spread and it’s majestically yummy. Their prices are great for what you get and the inside is big. A good place to study since you get the Starbucks wifi from next door. You might want to bring your headphones tho since their appliances might be a bit noisier than the 24hr quiet room in Shields. Just avoid using their restrooms and you’ll be fine!

I love this place! Spinach Asiago bagel is fantastic. Pesto is also a wise choice. Perfect study fuel.

When I studied at UC Davis, and when I had the a good 2 – 3 hours of time, I would make the trek out to downtown after class for my bagel and iced coffee fix. The CoHo is great, but sometimes you just need to treat yourself. This is hands down the best and my go-to place for gourmet bagels and the – may I add, Vietnamese – iced coffee. Luan made the best Vietnamese iced coffees :) When it was finals time, she’d give me 2 shots of expresso on an already large iced coffee. Thank you, Luan, for giving me my coffee fix and keeping me alert for finals! Now that I’ve long graduated and since relocated, I really miss the Posh Bagel in the Davis location. I’d always chat with the workers — they’re so fantastic, accommodating and lovely people! The bagels… I love them all! My most favorite ones are the asiago, poppy, and spinach bagel. As for sandwiches, I’d always get a dutch crunch with lox. You can’t go wrong with lox :)

17 $ for four specialty bagels with flavored cream cheese and a water. The bagels were good but not 4 $ a piece good.

This place’s bagels are great. They always seem fresh and there is a very large selection of kinds to choose from, as well as a large selection of cream cheeses, toppings, etc. However, every time I come in I see flies on the bagels. They are literally crawling around inside the display case. It’s really gross. Also, although the system works well – with ordering the bagel and then receiving it as you move in line to pay – I recently spent 5+ minutes by the cash register waiting for them to ring me up for a cup of coffee, despite the fact that there were two workers just cleaning behind the counter. Was pretty annoyed and ended up leaving without the coffee.

I love the selection of freshly made bagels here!!! I got an egg sandwich(wish I had seen the jalapeño bagel in time!), and the boyfriend got the lox sandwich(which has now become his go to study sandwich). The lox sandwich is freaking amazing. The addition of the capers is great!

I wanted to grab something quick to eat before work, and I was craving a bagel so I went to the first place I could think of that served fresh bagels — The Posh Bagel. I came here on a Tuesday morning around 9:45AM. Parking was a cinch because there were 2 open spots right in front(20 minutes I believe). I ordered 2 chocolate chip bagels with plain cream cheese, and requested that it be put in an oven. I don’t really understand why there was so much miscommunication between me and the man who took my order… I ended up having to repeat my order 3 times to him because it didn’t seem like he understood what I said. I just wanted 2 bagels with plain cream cheese and to toast it, and he just repeated what I said twice as if he didn’t believe that was what I wanted? I was confused myself as to what was going on, but looking back on it, it’s actually pretty funny. It wasn’t even that early in the morning either(10AM). Anyway, the food was perfect and there was a proportionate amount of cream cheese to bagel. A lot of other places I visit have an overwhelming amount of cream cheese — so much that it’s impossible to eat it without making a mess. All I want is a breakfast where I can drive with one hand and eat my bagel with the other without having to wipe my hands with napkins and get cream cheese all over the steering wheel and all over my keyboard at work because I didn’t fully wipe myself down before leaving the car. Long story short — some miscommunication taking my order, great food, no mess, and will come back again.

Came here again and this time decided to get the Lox sandwich bagel. I asked for extra-toasted this time(since I didn’t think they were toasted enough last time) & that was much better. They were also very generous with the smoke salmon so that’s a plus! This sandwich is a must-get!

I had a real bagel kick my senior year and my boyfriend and I used to come here every Tuesday and Thursday in between classes. As such, I tried a few of their bagels and cream cheeses before settling on my usual order(and my boyfriend ended up copying me). One of the ladies started recognizing us and would confirm our usual as we walked in the door. We felt like true regulars. We have tried their bagel breakfast sandwiches, plain bagels, and various cream cheeses, but our favorite is the Apple Cinnamon Bagel with Honey Cream Cheese. It goes great with our morning coffee. The apple is present as just a hint for sweetness and the cinnamon on the top half is yummy, so I always eat the top last. The honey cream cheese is sweet, but not sweet enough to make you feel like you’re eating an unhealthy breakfast. Since the apple cinnamon is a gourmet flavor, I have tried variations on my order such as a regular Cinnamon Bagel and/or Honey Walnut Cream Cheese, but it didn’t manage to top my go-to combination. Though not all the bagels are the best in my opinion, we really loved going here and will miss going here regularly. To all the Davis residents, I would definitely recommend coming here for a friendly experience.

I can’t believe I barely discovered this place in Davis. It’s a great little shop with somewhat affordable food for college students. The options are endless here. You can get a single bagel with or without cream cheese, a gourmet sandwich, croissants, muffins, and etc! There’s a wide variety of flavored bagels to choose from. After reading the reviews I decided to try the lox spinach asiago bagel sandwich with chives cream cheese. OMG. So. Good. It was jam packed with vegetables which included tomatoes, cucumbers, watercress, lettuce, onions, & capers. It came with pickles on the side too! Everything paired so well together! However, it was really messy eating and somehow I still managed to devour my entire meal(because it was that good). My BF ordered the pesto bagel eggwich with sausage & cheese. It was really good as well! Anyways, both our bagels were really soft though and did not have the same texture as a regular bagel. Still enjoyable though. Our total came out to roughly $ 14. I’m docking one star because both my BF and I had a bad stomach ache after eating here… Not sure if it was because of the food or not but yeah. I’ll update my review after a second visit next time! I’ll be backkkk :)

I love a good bagel sandwich and this place definitely does it right! The only sandwich I’ve ever ordered from here(and only sandwich I ever will order because I love it too much.) is the Eggwich Deluxe on a pesto bagel! I’ve never tried a pesto bagel until I started coming to Posh and I honestly wish I tried it sooner. The Eggwich Deluxe comes with egg, turkey, cheese, spinach, and mushrooms. I love how filling it is — it’s the perfect lunch if you’re in a rush! The service here is superb. The two ladies who work here are always so nice and friendly! They make your sandwich very fast too, so I know this is a reliable place to grab lunch from when I’m in a hurry.

Seriously mediocre bagels. They looked appetizing in the window, but tasted less than average. Room temp, flavorless, and not very crispy. Not impressed.

We came out here on a Sunday morning when it wasn’t too crowded. My first thought after coming in was the overwhelming menu. After seeing some really good pictures here on Unilocal,we decided on the lox bagel and a the turkey bagel, both on the spinach Asiago! It’s not too often I want a bagel but this place did me good. I would highly recommend the spinach Asiago bagel, and they also have lemon water :)

Waiting for a ride at Starbucks from my colleague, The Boss of Me, I noticed this bagel store next door. Coming from Berkeley, I’d been jones’n Nathan’s. No more. A toasted Everything with vegetable smear was so light and fluffy. Not dense and thick. It was so good I shared it with The a Boss of Me! Lost a star cuz they rushed me to order. Lemme check out the other treats!

Okay, so I know it’s a bagel shop, but seriously, their red velvet muffin is amazing. It’s moist and not too sweet. I’ve been coming at least once a week to get it for myself as a treat. And then today, I went in to grab one for later(as well as a bagel to eat right away), and… I SAW A NEWONE. They now have pistachio muffins as well folks! I immediately bought that one, too. So now I have two muffins, but can you ever really have too many muffins? Oh yeah, and the pistachio is just as fantastic as the red velvet one. I’ve never seen a pistachio muffin before. I’m in love.

If you like bagels at all… you’ve got to go to The Posh Bagel. Located in downtown Davis, Posh Bagel serves up a huge variety of different bagels for your eating pleasure. You can find any bagel that you are in the mood for — be it sweet or savory — here. Get one made into a sandwich or have it with a generous heaping on cream cheese. They’re perfect. I’m very glad for the Posh Bagel. There aren’t too many bagel options in Davis, but this one is really all you need. The bagels are delicious. I personally love the different cheese bagels that they serve up. The cheddar bagel and asiago bagels are amazing. Just get them toasted up with your favorite spread and you’ll be set. If you’re hungrier you can get the bagels in sandwich form or as a pizza. The sandwiches have ample amount of things on the inside, and the pizzas really give you that pizza taste and satisfaction. If you’re in the mood for pastries, coffee, or even boba… Posh Bagel has it for you too. There is just such a wonderful variety here. My only complaint about Posh Bagel is the environment. It’s a very busy place in the mornings and it can get crowded or tables don’t get cleaned that quickly. I’d also say the interior dining area could use a bit of a makeover. But when it comes down to it, Posh Bagel has what’s important down — and that’s good food. It’s a great place to frequent whenever you need your bagel fix.

Sometimes when I can no longer hit the snooze button, I am forced to rise with sun and leave my bed earlier than I’d like to. Then I remember that places like Posh Bagel exist and the morning sucks a little less. The large selection of beverages, bagels and baked goods in itself is enough to covert me to a morning person. tl;dr — Great selection and variety! Try the asiago spinach eggwich. :)
