Putah Creek Lodge

Putah Creek lodge is a green/​picnic area by the putah creek. They also have a room/​venue that can be rented for different events. This place used to be my favorite picnic spot, but recently they have taken the grills away, so one cannot grill. It seems that more and more, they are trying to make this place one that can be rented out to events such as sorority and fraternity events, weddings, and such. The price to rent the club house/​event space has been on the rise, and the once free parking now costs eight dollars.
Still, this is a beautiful place to be. peaceful, pretty, and it has a huge, open green area where you could set up for an event, or play badminton without worrying that the shuttlecock will get caught in the nearby trees. They do have a fire pit as well that can be a nice and romantic addition to any event.
This place belongs to the University of Davis, so if you want to rent the space for a private event, you’ll need to contact them.
