Simple quaint dining room of the Woodwind Inn, but really good food! My BF and I both ordered omelets and they were huge! It was a great meal before skiing all day– we weren’t hungry til the mid afternoon! The service was great too, speedy and attentive. We were staying by Timberline so I was glad we found somewhere nearby and didn’t have to drive into Davis for breakfast or go to the gas station. Reasonably priced too, our omelets were $ 7 and some change.

Breakfast at Amelia’s was decent and the restaurant is at a cool fly-in resort. The service left something to be desired(only one coffee refill in 45 minutes) but overall is was a fine experience. Driving the road from Davis out to the resort is worth the trip alone.

We came here for breakfast since it is located right inside the motel we were staying at. They had the typical breakfast items for a decent price. They were also big portions. The staff here were all super friendly. It’s a nice little place to chill and get food.

Limited menu, but decent food. Wait staff was great, as were the folks at the combined hotel. Rooms at the Windwood Fly-in resort were clean and comfortable.

Just a note: Amelia’s in the restaurant, Windwood Fly In Resort is the motel. I stayed and ate here for a weekend so will review both. Motel: Outdated, but very clean and cozy. The heaters warm up the room very quickly and held the heat so you don’t have to listen to it all night long. The floors are a bit creaky, so try to avoid many trips to the bathroom at night so you don’t wake up your travel partner! Other than that, the night was very quiet. Our room had an exit into the main hallway as well as one leading out to the deck that overlooked the airport. Note: If you fly in the the motel, they will ask you your aircraft insurance information. Also, if you don’t plan on going anywhere and staying at the resort, bring some cards or some quarters for all the arcade games upstairs! There isn’t too much to do. Restaurant: Very quick and attentive service. I had breakfast here twice and dinner once, all was good and very well priced. Not everything is made fresh, but the desserts are daily and boy were they good!!!
