Every time We go here it is spot on and exactly What We expect. I’m now a regular. Their salads are amazing. Their Philly and Mountain melt are delicious! I always get it to go so service is great.

Service was good and the food was okay. It is not the best place I have been to in Davie and I would possibly go again but not super high on my list to try. It is definitely a chain restaurant and my chicken on my chicken caesar salad was super chewy, I wasn’t able to finish it because of the texture.

Walked in sat down with my family right in front of the bar in a booth. Bar tender saw us she didn’t alert anyone to our presence employees were eating in the back they saw us as they were walking out. They didn’t tell anybody. We finally got up and left. Twin peaks was next door we went there got a table and ordered and served great food

If I can pick no stars I would. Server had a horrible attitude. Drinks took too long to arrive, when they did arrive they tasted horrible. Asked to speak w/manager, never stopped by our table. After food was served server never checked back with our table of ten people. Finally flagged an employee down to get the check… Go to twin peaks…

It’s clean and our server is nice. My son liked his burger, but his fries were so dry they were inedible. I ordered a half rack of ribs and baked potato. Both over cooked and dry. The bartender was cursing while she was talking with a manager right in front of my son and I.

Drinks were made perfectly but the calamari had no taste and was a big fried ball of calamari

I will say that I went when they just opened so I don’t know how quick the service is when they’re busy. But the pitcher blue Long Island was good; especially for $ 10. The zinger melt meal with chicken and fries was great. Was a little annoyed about the bartender making me wait before ordering my 3rd drink but that’s what happens when you go to a new place that doesn’t know you. Just weird that she asked me if I wanted another one and then says she wants me to wait a few minutes to be sure. So I will respect them for caring about the customer and being safe but do like other places and ask if I want a water, soda or juice instead. Overall it was a good first experience and I will definitely recommend it to others if they want to try something different.

I came here after the debacle at twin peaks next door. I was promptly greeted as soon as I sat at the bar. Ricky the bartender was friendly and effective. I order a bucket of beer and ask to change one of the TVs top the game, I wanted to watch. Ricky said he could and changed it in about 2 minutes. I ordered loaded fries after a little while and the fries was brought out piping hot. I enjoyed the fries and the games. I have never had a negative experience at a Miller’s Ale House at any location I’ve been to. I will come here instead of twin peaks next door.

Came here to eat after work with a colleague. The food & service was good. We had the lemon pepper wings, onion rings, & buffalo shrimp. Not bad to go drink and eat with friends or family. They have great drink specials & appetizer deals. Would definitely come back!

I know this place is a chain restaurant, but I just love the Davie Ale House. The service is always friendly and accommodating. The food is great, and you definitely can’t go wrong with some Zingers. Even better, they always have daily drink specials.

Great service, no line when we walked in, manager was walking to every table to ensure guest were happy. Food came fast. Lost a star due to the waitress not hearing us when we said dairy allergy and brings the food with cheese on it.

Popped into Ale House to celebrate a coworker’s birthday. He loves their winger salad(boneless buffalo wings on a salad). Service was efficient and friendly. We ordered the winger salad and the prime rib French dip sandwich. A few minutes later, our server returned to say they didn’t have the prime rib sandwich today. Huh? You just got done telling us that prime rib was today’s special. Whatever. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak instead. My friend enjoyed his winger salad as usual. My Philly cheesesteak was overcooked, super greasy and salty. So greasy that the side and bottom of the roll was soaked through and fell apart before I ate two bites of the sandwich. I ate about half the sandwich and a few of the fries before I had to stop. It was just yucky, and I’d started to feel unwell. Needless to say, I was quite sick for the next seven hours, and even had to go home from work. I don’t think I’ll ever eat at Davie Ale House again. There are several sports bar/restaurants nearby to choose from instead. The one star is because my coworker enjoyed his salad.

Went in for the lobster special. 16.95 for lobster on Wednesday night. In the past I have been able to add a flat iron for a small up charge. Not at this ale house not this time. The food was good but not great. The baked potatoe that came along with the meal was small and burnt. The service was also lacking on this given night. Which is strange for an Miller’s as they are usally spot on with service. I might give this place another look some other time.

Ale House was a staple in my bar rotation when I worked in Hollywood. Not so much as of late but it was a rainy night and I felt like clam chowder. I always liked Ale House clam chowder so my bf and I headed to the closest one on Davie. Situated in the Tower Shops, parking can be a pain and no doubt with the arrival of Trader Joes in the Fall, it will only get worse. The place was packed, largely in part to a fraternity party of some sort by the pool tables– ahhhh to be in college again! We looked at the special Summer menu and the Watermelon Margarita Pitcher jumped out at us. $ 10 for 32 oz. of deliciousness! I of course ordered the soup but was disappointed. While the flavor was there it was water thin and not filled with the clams, potatoes, and veggies :-( I also ordered the Zinger Melt aka Heart Attack on a plate. Basically chicken tenders tossed in wing sauce topped with pico de gallo and sour cream. Again, I was disappointed because the chicken barely had any hot sauce on it and was a little tough. I had to request more, which our waitress brought so I could make the chicken better. The bf opted for ribs with sweet potato fries. An up charge of 95 cents for those– no biggie. However when the plate came, it seemed like someone ate half his fries. I tasted them but they were cold and I was unimpressed. We finished the meal with Captain Jack’s Buried Treasure– probably one of the best ice cream desserts around. The service, cocktails, and dessert made this a 3.5 night but I had to round down because the soup, Zingers, fries, and ribs were just way off :-(

I’m not sure what was going on at the Ale House when we came in on a Saturday early evening. The place was dead since it seems as if Twin Peaks has took over their business. Trying to have a couple of drinks and some apps before a work event we met some coworkers here. The parking lot was dead when we pulled up and they had an employee patrolling the lot to make sure Twin Peak customers were not snagging a spot on their empty lot. We were promptly sat and while waiting for our server, Margaret I took a peek at their Cocktail Menu. Lots of drinks and selections if you do not have a certain drink in mind. I went with their Long Island Iced Tea and it was by far the w.o.r.s.t one I have had. Not a trace of alcohol and tasted just like Sweet and Sour Mix. I was trying to be a trooper and drink this awful beverage but I just could not do it and did not want to have an upset stomach for the rest of the night so I sent the drink back and went with my norm Unsweetened Iced Tea with Tito’s. This was the second time Margaret informed us that something might be out. Luckily the Tito’s was present! Sip– Sip. Wow! Now my drink taste like pure sugar with NO vodka– Gezz! After downing the sugary drink which was made with Sweetened Iced Tea; Third time is a charm. Finally, a double with UNsweetened Tea! A bit better now! Once our two others joined us they also ordered a drink off the menu and regretted it. A drink straight up was ordered and came with ice. Are you kidding me? Can we not get a single drink correct? The appetizers we decided on were the Buffalo Shrimp and Smoked Fish Dip. Both clearly ordered to Margaret. Out comes Spinach Artichoke Dip. But wait? Why are we getting this? Our server told us that is what she heard us order. All four of us looked at each other and told her no… The correct order. The Buffalo Shrimp were decent but the breading fell off immediately and the Fish Dip was inedible in my opinion. I would mark this whole visit as a fail. It should not take a bar three tries to make a simple drink and I should not have to order a double to be able to taste the alcohol in my short glass. No thanks!

They had good drink specials($ 2 for a couple of different drinks). The mozzarella sticks were good and basic. We had somewhat of a large group and our server seemed quite annoyed with us.

We ended up here tonight because the new restaurant next door had an hour and forty-five minute wait for a table. Forget that! We headed to good olé realizable Ale House. The wait was only 15 minutes, but we found two seats at the bar immediately. Leslie, the bartender, took awesome care of us. The Blue Moon beer was cold. The buffalo shrimp, calamari and Mahi Piccica were great! The food was a bit slow in being served, but it was a busy night and we could see the kitchen moving as fast as they could. Overall great service and good food.

Disgusted. Honesty and integrity are not prevalent at this location. We had an average ale house experience. My Zinger melt was ok and my husband had the seafood platter and enjoyed it, noting the fish was really good. We had a French onion soup as well, and it was fine. Maddie was our server and she was efficient and suggestive as to new items on the menu. The experience changed after we left and realized that my son left his Pokemon collection. Well, we went back and our server said she placed them at the front desk. They weren’t there. The hostess said she had to go back and ask the other hostess. She then came back with some cards but not all of them. We left, and I told my son he was lucky that he got any back and told him to be more responsible… Well he’s crying and I decide to call back and see if they«forgot«to give him some… And wow can you believe they just«found» some on the floor, minutes after we left to pick up the forgotten cards… and can you believe all the ones on the floor were all the rare(more expensive) cards!!! Wow, it’s a miracle! Especially because he never took them out of the bag while there!

Maybe I was expecting too much. I have never been impressed with any Ale House so we do not frequent this location in my neighborhood. Since it was next to Costco, we ended up here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Trying to stay somewhat healthy I ordered my sports bar staple, Salmon Caesar with Ranch Dressing on the side. I always specify not to overcook the salmon. Well, the salmon was so overcooked it was like rubber. I sent it back and had to wait a good 20 minutes while my family ate their lunch. That should have been a sign(and not a good one). Still overcooked, I kept it so we could eat and get out of there. The other dishes were mixed. 9 year old’s. Seafood Mac & Cheese was pretty salty but cheesy and tasty in a decadent sort of way. Coincidentally, the seafood in this dish(shrimp & scallops) were succulent and tender, Husband’s Cheese Steak was not good. It had no flavor. The best part was the onion rings on the side which had a tasty batter and was served very hot. What almost ruined the onion rings for my husband was that the kitchen did not heed his request for«no pickles». My husband has«picklephobia» and will not eat anything that has even brushed against a pickle. At least our server brought him a new order of hot onion rings which I promptly ate. This was almost a 2 star rating, however, an unsolicited visit from the manager, his sincere concern, regret, and offer to make me anything to make up for my misery inched this rating up to 2 ½ stars and I’ll round it up to 3. Needing to do our Costco run, I declined another entrée. When the manager insisted on treating us to a «Captain Jack’s Buried Treasure» however, we could not decline. It was scrumptious: vanilla ice cream with different candy layers and oodles of hot fudge. Yum!!! I know it was a sports bar and I should probably stick to what they do best, things like wings, burgers, and beer. Still in Davie, the mecca of sports bars, you can find some with good salads, soups, and fish. I prefer the non chain Geronimo’s, but even the Quarterdeck does a pretty good job. However, even they don’t have an ice cream cake like Captain Jack.
