GC Pawn and Gun

My boyfriend was in here earlier today in order to pick up an item which we were 2 days late on in picking up. The lady who helped him was extremely rude and would not work with us, she started stating that she couldn’t work with us because it was against Florida statute (umm there is no statute that states that you can’t prorate things) They charged him $ 100 dollars for being two days late in picking up the item. In my belief they should have prorated it, it is egregious to pay 100 dollars for being 2 days late… These things should be prorated according to how many days late you are in picking up the item. The receipt that they gave him says that the extra 100 dollars would be charged if the item was picked up on January 7. So it does not make sense that they would charge me that penalty amount practically one month before that date. I don’t recommend this particular location, the management is extremely rude and obviously not educated on Florida statute (using a supposed law in order to validate her ignorance)
