I wish there was a no star option as well. I arrived, and was told«so it says you requested a handicapped room.» I didn’t, and when she said they’d turned away someone, I felt bad. I said I’d take a different room, to leave the handicapped room, I was put into a room that was dirty. I don’t mean there was some dirt. I mean I brought in my bag and my cat and there was garbage from the people who’d checked out — a half eaten bag of popcorn, and soda bottles, etc. I reported this to the desk, and they had someone come clean.(at least the beds were already made) The next morning I noticed the telltale yellow popcorn butter smudges all over the sheets — the staff had remade the beds with dirty linens, which I slept on. I told the(now different) person at the front desk that I wanted the linens changed on both of the beds, and she directed the staff, and said«well, if you just slept in the one bed, why both?» to which I replied«Because they were both DIRTY when I checked in?!» Duh. The ice machine did not work for the 7 days+ I was there. My dirty room was blamed on the girl who checked me in who«no longer works here» because I was supposed to be in the handicapped room, since that was a designated«pet» room, and the one I was put in, wasn’t.(funny thing, I had checked out, was going to be leaving, then my mom had a heart attack and my stay extended… I checked back into the hotel and was given that same«non pet» room). Most of the front desk staff was nice, but upon my first check out wasn’t given a receipt(I was too tired to deal with it at the time) and they blamed a lot of the problems on «new management». They also don’t participate in the Grandstay Inn and Suites rewards club — which is unfortunate because I’d have earned a lot stamps! I wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me.

Wish there were a zero star option. We stayed two nights ago. We arrived late and it was a sub zero night, so once there we weren’t changing hotels. However, there was NO bottom sheet, there were black hairs all over the white bedding that was on the bed, and I kept waking in a panic that I’d be taking home bedbugs or other creepy crawlies. We skipped showers in the a.m. after our fitful sleeps as the bathing/toilet area appeared very dirty, although the light was so dim it was difficult to be sure. When I turned in the keys in the morning, I reported the problems. I got absolutely no response. I requested my money back which was met with stoney silence. Even when I said I was going to post a negative review on Unilocal,there was no offer of anything or an apology. Do not stay here.
