Chinwalla Periodontics

I saw Dr. Chinwalla at his former Bloomingdale location in 2005 where he did gum grafting for me in 3 quadrants of my mouth (9 teeth) and 1 quadrant (3 teeth) pulled the gums down as he said I had enough tissue and grafting was not needed. He is very gentle, trustworthy, keeps costs low, works with your insurance and straight forward in explaining to you what he is doing and why. I felt very comfortable and wish he was a general dentist so I could see him for my semi-​annual check ups.
All other dentists I have seen since having the grafting done by Dr. Chinwalla have been amazed by the work he did. They could not even tell that I had grafting done whereas they commented they see many other patients with ‘patchy’ gums after having grafting done.
I had a blister on my gums recently and was advised to have a periodontist check it out. I was very happy to see he was still in network for me! Luckily it was nothing major and went away on it’s own. But it was comforting to have him take a look.
I have also visited Midwestern University Dental School in Downers Grove for a consultation and they were amazed by his work. He teaches there and the students and faculty ADORE him.
I would recommend him to all my friends and family that need periodontal work.
