Al and Don know what they’re doing. They both have been barbers for over 30 years and I’ve yet to get anything less than a great haircut in over 10 years here. They also have the gift of remembering your name and how you like your hair cut. Amazes me. I’d suggest calling them before you drop in. Without an appointment you might be waiting for awhile. Now if they could do something about my growing bald spot in back…

These guys really know what they are doing. The location is old and likely hasn’t seen a paint brush in 20+ years and the chairs are from 1974 but you’re coming here for a haircut. The current cost of a haircut is $ 13 with kids and seniors at $ 11. If you want a wash and style(in 15 years I’ve never seen someone get that) the cost is $ 19. Al is my barber of choice but the other barber(who owns the business) is Don and both do a good job. If either Al or Don are off for a few days or weeks then they bring in one of two other barbers, Tony or Joe. They are always watching TV(tennis or Fox News) and they can be quite opinionated on current politics but sometimes it’s like a show to go with your haircut if some get in to a heated verbal sparing. Parking is alway plentiful in the private strip mall lot. If you call ahead then you can reserve a spot with the barber of your choice.

Old school. Old guys. Old shop. I don’t want to have to pay for a ‘stylist’ when I just want a good hair cut. I don’t want someone cutting my hair who doesn’t know what they’re doing. And I don’t want to go to some SuperCuts /McHairCut kind of place. This is why I really like Center Barber Shop.
