I cannot believe this wonderful bakery is closed. Miglets, if you are reading this, then please come back. We loved your cupcakes. Every birthday was special with the custom cakes we ordered from your bakeshop.
At least think about teaching classes or launching a gluten free cupcake book. I would be the first person to buy that book or to join your gluten free baking class. I was a huge fan of your baked goods.
You will truly and utterly be missed. It feels terrible that such an amazing gluten free bakery as yours is closed. Please come back one day if you could!

So sad to learn that Miglet’s really is closing. Thank you so much for being such a great bakery. We are all going to miss you very much!

We ordered three cakes from Miglet’s for our daughter’s baptismal reception. The cakes were delicious, and I especially recommend the salted caramel. The prices are fair and the service is excellent. The fact that it is 100% gluten free is also great for those with gluten sensitivity. I highly recommend!

My daughter and granddaughter are gluten intolerant so this great bakery is the go to for us on any holiday or occasion. I have had nothing but raves from the regular family and friends about the cupcakes, no one even knows they are gluten free and they look beautiful! The scones, cookies and breads are amazing as well. Love this Bakery

Delicious and gluten free! I was surprised with a birthday cake from here, and it was delicious! Even non-​gluten intolerant family members were impressed. Highly recommended.

Recently moved back to the bay area n always disappointed at majority of gluten-​free anything. Nonetheless, I’ve had bad recommendations from people at restaurants and etc. I met TJ on my way to work, and took on some of his recommendations — omg. BEST gluten-​free (even non-​gluten-​free) donuts everr! Definitely be back for more for other tips and recommendations along w the coffee next door.

Came here twice in two days. Gluten-​free donuts, and they were fantastic.
Also, the guy we spoke to was super nice. If we’re back in Danville, we’re coming back here for sure.
FYI, I’m a big fan of the maple glazed donut.

Yum yum yum. A gf girl’s dream come true! Also Hanne a nut allergy and haven’t had a problem because they know does and does not have nuts. I wish they’d make more donuts. They’re usually out of them. I’d order some special but I have a baby so my life is unpredictable!

Wonderful variety of gluten free deserts. We got the cinnamon rolls (and other goodies) to accomodate my sister-​in-​law, but everybody found their treats absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the lemon raspberry tart — the crust was light and flakey, and the not-​to-​sweet filling was scrumptious.

Miglet’s puts San Carlos on the map!!! By far, the most delicious gluten free donuts I’ve ever tasted. I drove from san Fransisco on vacation twice to get these delicious dodos. The second time was on my way back to LA and I decided to purchase a dozen to freeze. They have frozen perfectly with just a little defrost time and toaster… Voila! My family loves the donuts too and they are not even gluten free.
Wonder if they could do mail order???

Very tasty baked goods, and they’re all gluten-​free. Last time I went I aimed for getting a couple of donuts. But I couldn’t choose, so I bought 5 delicious-​looking (and almost as good tasting) donuts, plus cookies, a couple of cupcakes, and I almost bought a scone or cinnamon roll, but I decided I had enough impulse buys for one trip.
Miglet’s is as close as I’ve been able to find to having the traditional taste and fluffiness of «regular» baked goods (but still falls a tad short of the taste of Krispy Kreme donuts and other popular mainstream treats), and and their baked goods look as good or better than the «regular» stuff you’ll find in your local supermarket.
No, almost nothing here is healthy, but it’s not supposed to be — choose it for the taste and for the appearance, to be consumed by gluten-​intolerant individuals.
Their retail area of the store is set up to provide a variety of baked goods for those one or two members of your family that need it. They can also accommodate higher volume purchases, but they appreciate advanced notice if you’re going to buy a dozen donuts for your next gluten-​free support group meeting (I jest, but seriously if anyone knows of a group like that, let me know!).
They are also set up to accommodate people who need dairy– or egg-​free foods (those foods are labeled as such in the store).
Their counter has a variety of yummy treats — especially cupcakes and cookies — but there isn’t a place to sit down and enjoy them, nor is there sufficient parking to accommodate even a small group of people that want to meet there for donuts. You come, you pick up a few items, you pick up a few more impulse buys because you can’t resist, and then you leave to bring them with you to enjoy when you meet with your wheat-​tolerant friends.
Bottom line: If you or a loved one is gluten-​free and still want to enjoy tasty treats, Miglet’s is the answer.

Our Favourite Shop! Yummy baked stuff and people are nice. Yesterday I picked up a birthday cake (gluten free, dairy free and egg free) to accommodate most of our guests. The cake was yummy and the decoration was creative and fresh! We had a blast and enjoyed every bite.

Been here a few times. Originally I came for rxBars, but once I got in there I realized I discovered a GEM!!! Paleo cookies if you haven’t tried them you’re missing out! Definitely drop by support your local small business and try some of their amazing gluten free treats.

Very wide selection. Desserts have way too much sugar in them. I tasted sugar more than anything in their cupcakes. I would go back for more if they’d calm down on the sugar. Why is it that gluten free desserts have so much more sugar in them more than the ones with wheat as if they put more sugar to compensate for the wheat.

Amazing gluten free treats! I’ve been going here for years and my expectations have always been exceeded! The cupcakes, pastries, and breads are delicious, but my absolute favorite are their donuts. I’m ashamed to admit how many of those I consumed during my pregnancy. Too yummy!
I am a little bummed that they’ve downsized because it was convenient to pick up other gluten free pantry staples while there. However, it doesn’t take away from the quality of the products they continue to carry.

The Mrs. is GF, and the kid enjoys their stuff equally (despite my efforts to just buy her a «regular» cupcake at half the price or better).
But the menu is varied, the stuff (I’ve been offered a taste) isn’t the typical bland GF variety, which my bride echos, and that ain’t bad in my book.
If they weren’t a half hour’s drive each way, that’d be okay by me, but as a now-​and-​again visit/​treat run, well worth it.

We had a very good experience with these guys. We were speechless, our guests were speechless after having the delicious gluten free birthday cake. It was so good!
The owner Katie immediately responded to our email enquiry. We wanted to order the cake in-​person since we wanted it custom-​made. Went to the bakery and came across wonderful folks working here — so very accommodating and creative. The guy who took our order (can’t remember his name) was a new hire and it was his second day on the job, but it looked like he had been working there for years! These guys are thorough professionals!
All in all, we were provided an excellent customer service and our cake was made exactly the way we wanted. This is one of the best bakeries I have ever come across. All of us and our guests enjoyed the cake very much, thank you Miglets!

I was really excited to try their donuts and cookies BUT they taste very bad and also very unhealthy. Do they fry the donuts? When you bite oil/​grease literally comes out. Im sorry but no. if Im going to pay $$$ for a donut at least I expect good taste. NEVER purchasing again.
AND they made me sick, my stomach did not handle all the sugar :(

This place is NOT VEGAN. They use bone charred sugar. Don’t be fooled by the signs of dairy & egg free signs!

Stopped by on my way home and was absolutely blown away when I opened that glorious box.
The salted caramel cupcake was hands down the best cupcake I have ever had. So good I had to have another. These decadent treats are so rich and satisfying you will be amazed.
We also tried the chocolate chip cookie one which was equally good.

It doesn’t get better than Miglet’s gluten-​free cupcakes. The best gluten-​free treats! So sweet, moist, tasty, and oh did I say sweet!
This week we got the vanilla salted caramel, samoa, chocolate salted caramel, and this chocolate chip cookie cupcake (can’t recall the name).
My favorite was the chocolate salted caramel. Eating only ½ at a time is best along with a tiny scoop of Talenti’s gelato. It was very rich, but oh so yummy. My b/f’s favorite was the chocolate chip cookie cupcake. It was like eating a cookie cupcake sandwich, with a whole cookie on the top and bottom of the cupcake.
We have brought Miglets to many different gathering and our guests always raved about how amazing the cupcakes are. Yes, the cupcakes are not cheap @ $ 3.50 per cupcake, but they are always perfect and served with a smile.

Best gluten-​free baked goods I’ve ever tasted. If I didn’t buy the cupcakes myself, I would never have known they were gluten-​free. A bit too sweet but still delicious. My fave so far is the coconut. While not as light and airy as a cupcake made with flour, this cupcake was light enough and moist enough to be perfectly delicious. The texture was reminiscent of a very moist carrot cake.
Also tried a lemon bar. While the filling was yummy and had a perfectly piquant flavor, the crust left something to be desired. The crust had a floury, almost raw dough taste. This problem can be attributed to lemon bars in general and not because this particular lemon bar was gluten free. Perhaps par-​baking the crust before adding the filling would help.
Can’t wait to return and try the rest of the flavors.

I am so glad my boyfriend and I found Miglet’s. I personally have had cupcakes that I really liked here, and ones that weren’t so great. My boyfriend on the other hand, has liked and mostly loved every one that’s entered his mouth, lol. I tried the éclair the other day and it was to die for. I wasn’t a huge fan of the mac and cheese but my boyfriend enjoyed it. Must try the snickerdoodle, thin mint, and princess cupcake. I think if I let them sit at room temperature they would taste better. No matter what though, the employees always take great care of us and are always extremely friendly and smiling. Next time I’m in I need to get their names since we are there so often! Everyone should try Miglet’s. :)

My girlfriend and I love this place! We would like to think we are advent bakers but we could never match a miglet cupcake!!! It’s our go to spot for sweets for months now. The cupcakes are priced respective to the quality of ingredients and presentation. All in all I think these cupcakes are fabulous. The employees are sooooooo nice. Extremely helpful. Few days back my girlfriend and I got there around 6:01pm on a monday and they were closed. Darn traffic. We started walking away and sure enough a young girl popped out and had us come in and make a purchase. I hope she reads this. YOU ARE AWESOME!!! :)

FINALLY made my way over here, been talking about it & wanting to try it since last December.
They had a good selection for coming in late Saturday afternoon.
Their shop is so cute & small. It is hidden in a corner of a plaza.
We picked up the following cupcakes:
— Snickerdoodle: AMAZING! Loved the frosting so much! So sweet! The cupcake was topped off with a piece of snickerdoodle cookie.
— Nutella: OMG, taste on point! The frosting taste like a whipped nutella. So yummy & moist!
— Princess: White cake with raspberry filling! The raspberry filling was AMAZEballs!
My roommate ordered Mac & Cheese & they warmed it up for her. It was sooo yummy!
They offer a ton of GF products! Donuts, cookies, cupcakes, tarts, breads, cinnamon rolls, salads, sandwiches… AWESOME find for GF people out there :)
They didn’t have Bananas Foster when I went there so I will for sure be back for it!

Having a child that is allergic to all dairy, eggs, and nuts, I really have to be careful of the pastries he consumes. I learned of this bakery from a couple of friends of mine because I needed to find a place that would bake my child a birthday cake closer than Oakland or Berkeley.
They were so completely helpful and accommodated all my requests including my son’s TMNT request. I even tried a sample of a snickerdoodle cupcake and a red velvet cupcake to see how the cake is like. It may be free of gluten, dairy, eggs, and nuts, but in no way does that take away from the moistness, denseness, and flavor of the cake. You wouldn’t even know if no one told you! I was completely sold!
I even tried the bananas foster cupcake and vanilla salted caramel cupcake. Both were delicious especially the bananas foster one. Inside the cupcake, caramel was oozing. I do have to say that the cupcakes are sweet, a little too sweet IMO, but I still love this place.
Amazing cupcakes/​cakes, outstanding service, and clean location deserves 5 stars.
