For such a professional looking place, this was my sleaziest car repair experience. My car had broken down in Philly and I took it to a pep boys where they realized the engine cracked and it wouldn’t hold a compression. I was at a point where I was about to scrap it, but I decided to take it to a dealer to see if anything could be done to repair it. I got a call back saying that I’d be better off scrapping it and went to go to the dealership. I was handed a bill for 390 over 4 hours or «work». That’s right, it took these Volvo specialists 4 hours to realize my car didnt work, that’s something I realized when I tried to turn on the ignition.
From my person experience, whoever «looked into» my car (if they even touched it) is a scumbag. Whoever thought of the brilliant idea to charge me $ 390 to give my car back with NO improvement is an even bigger scumbag. Keep your car away from them.
