This place was great, under the original owner. Now after a few years of the new owner throwing a good reputation away it sucks. the food is terrible and service rude and unpleasant. Drive down to the Londi’s in Salem, on Highland ave. That’s the one owned and run by the original owner of this place, and where you can get your craving satisfied every time! Go to the Londis in salem! This one is garbage!

Ordered here over an hour ago and never showed up… Got a confirmation email and all that. Could have at least called. I work in restaurant myself as a waitress, 6 plus years, i understand not wanting to do any cooking late, but really? Probably never ordering there again.

I just don’t understand how hard it is to get an order right. I ordered a steak tip CESAR salad, I only said it about three times to assure it’d be a cesar salad and not iceburg lettuce, and low and behold the delivery guy brings me a GARDEN salad. WHY!!! Not to mention the staff behind the counter(the females) are beyond rude and seem bothered and look so messy.

Quite possibly the worst managed roast beef/Pizza place I’ve ever eaten at. The food is sub par and the service is terrible. Don’t waste your time find another spot.

My brother eats here all the time and loves it so I decided to try it and got delivery. For one the portions are great, but service was VERY rude. When they came to my house my bill was $ 40 payed with $ 100 and got $ 20 back in change and was highly confused when the delivery guy proceed to walk away? I nicely said something and he proceeded to tell me i was wrong and gave me another 20 $ and again tried to walk away and thats when I REALLY got annoyed and again said something. he handed me a 10 $ and i gave up at that point. Barley spoke english. Also to top it off when I got in the house my sandwich was completely wrong… Probably will never eat here again. I called to explain what happen and they kinda just laughed at me…

I used to come to this place all the time when visiting back home(Peabody). I went yesterday and gave my order to the girl at the counter who took my order, then talked to another girl, and left to go to her car. The girl she talked to then asked me for my order again after I had already given it to the other girl. It appeared the first girl was either going home or on break, so I had to order twice. I ordered a Greek salad with no feta. When my order was ready I got a garden salad. I told the girl at the counter I had ordered a Greek salad, and she told me she gave me a garden salad because they charge extra for feta and didn’t want me to get charged. I asked if the salad was the same as a Greek salad and she said yes. Against my better judgement I didn’t argue, took the bag home, and saw a salad that was nothing like a Greek salad. Knowing the difference between basis salads should be easy to accomplish. In the positive side my roast beef sub was good. When getting back home I was told that this place has gone downhill since getting new owners. Looks like they were right.

Terrible! 4 out of the 5 times I ordered there they got it wrong, not only that but it honestly did not taste good at all, i tried all kinds of things and it was mediocre. Also when i got a salad that was messed up like all the other things i ordered, the pita bread was in a sub roll bag, like buy some more bags, stop being cheap, dont give me your trash!

Overall pretty good. I love the chicken wings. Not fatty or oily. They are on the expensive side.

This place used to be great; big portion sizes, delicious food. Then the new owners took over. The menu seems to be pretty much the same but the food just isn’t as good anymore, and they almost always screw up our order. The old owners moved over to Highland Ave in Salem. If you’re looking for the quality food this place used to serve, head over there.

We ate here on a recent snowy evening. While the food was bland to mediocre, it was a servers comment that drives this one-star review. But before I address that, let’s talk about the food. We were told«try this place, the servings are unbelievable.» OK, that was the first red flag, but ‘she’ was insistent so I drove down to pick up our order. Yup, big roast beef and big steak bomb sandwich but as someone else has pointed out here, the meat is more ground than sliced. It’s also not nearly as tender as Jimmy’s or Supreme in the center of town. So, the food was meh, but that is almost to be expected when trying a new spot. I gave them a few more tries, and the food was consistently blah, but we will not be back. What drove us both over the edge, was the fact that when I dropped two 1 dollar bills into the(already over-filled) tip basket, the server quietly said, «sir you don’t have to leave us a tip, we don’t get to keep them, the owners just take them.»

We ordered here at least once a week for a couple years everything was always fantastic. Last April it started going down hill. June we placed an order and we’re told 30 minutes and over an hour later a guy called to ask where we were located. The guy didn’t carry a cell phone so he went back to Londi’s to call us. Both calzones were cold and soggy, I complained and the girl on the phone said what do you want me to do? We have ordered a few times since and portions keep getting smaller, prices higher but roast beef was always good(don’t waste your money on the fries). Today we tried one last time and not only had the price gone up $ 1.50 per calzone since September but the size is a lot smaller. Both calzones weighed about the same as one used to. I’ll continue to go to the one in Salem but I don’t see any of us going back to Danvers ever. Not just the size and price difference but the help is just plain rude!

Every year around this time I am fortunate enough to work a camp down the street from Londi’s, and my fellow councilors and I can’t resist the urge to do takeout at least 3 times during our long hours in the sun. If I must say so myself, the improvement from last year to this year is almost unbelievable. From stereotypical pita bread, Londi’s homemade pita is reason enough to visit! Further, their large portions, delicious salads and dressings really put the icing on top. The new and improved Londi’s is guaranteed to leave you wanting more– and craving that fresh bread!

We used to love this place, then the new owners took over. The food quality and portions have gone downhill. The employees are so slow and are constantly messing up our order every time. Customer service used to be the best, now they don’t even care about it. It’s really sad cause Londis is right down the street from us and we knew we could get a great meal, not anymore.

We used to visit regularly for their salads, pizza and roast beef sandwiches. They were excellent! But then the new owner took over and it went downhill from there. The food just isn’t the same. The customer service is terrible. And I was horrified to find out they got in trouble a few times with the health inspector. Employees not wearing gloves or washing hands before they dip into the bins of toppings and cheese for pizza, not washing cutting surfaces between meats and other foods. Disgusting! Its no wonder I got sick for 2 days after eating a chicken kabob salad from them. I will just keep driving next time I’m in the area.

This fresh looking contemporary pizza shop is doing a top notch job! The food is fresh, flavorful, well prepared and generously proportioned. Service with a smile is the rule and the tradesmen politely line up for the lunch rush. If looking for a casual sandwich place, this is a great option.

This was our second lunch here. Our first was a hot sandwich and pizza… Not bad. Today was a ham and cheese sandwich, and a chicken salad sandwich. Their chicken salad looks like Henry’s, but surely isn’t. It tastes off. Decent prices here, but mediocre food.

Update 3: I take back my last tip of «get delivery» as apparently they do not ring doorbells. And leave after not delivering or calling. Tip: Food is good, but I am giving up
