I would give this place a zero if possible! They are incredibly rude and their food taste like dog droppings. They messed up an order of mine and promised a coupon for $ 10 off my next order. I asked about the coupon and the manager or owner started raising his voice to me and started insulting me for asking about the coupon! I could not believe this guy! Steer clear! Seriously bad business management.

My wife and I were staying in Dana point at a hotel while we were traveling, and ordered from Kokomo’s for dinner. The delivery was timely and the food was spectacular. We ordered two dishes of the manicotti, And we only ate one it was so filling and delicious. We are from the Boston area and haven’t had Italian food this good since we left Boston. I would order the manicotti over and over again!

Best in OC !!! Stopped in Kokomos after a day at the beach, on weekend leave. Pizza is the Best I have had in awhile. We went with classic pepperoni and Hawaiian. 5 Stars hands down. Thin crust, light sauce, perfect amount of cheese. We also 20 wings, very good crisp and medium spicy. I’ll be back on my next break. Thanks Kokomos!

Best tasting pizza I’ve had in a while! Lots of variety, different sauces, and toppings to choose from which I love! And not just your usual mishmash of stuff but unique stuff u wouldn’t normally find at other pizza places. Their garlic knots are pretty awesome, the righteous carnivore pizza was off the hook! Will definitely be back for more!

The other day i drove by Kokomos pizza and saw the sign. I had no idea that it was a sign of good things to come… I was shocked to see bad reviews of this surf style mixed with a traditional style New York pizza. Brad took my order and spoke my language. Quick and efficient. His enthusiasm over what i was ordering only made me want it more. My pizza arrived 15 minutes early by an awesome driver and was plenty hot and made to order. The sauce and cheese mix perfectly. These guys are doing it right in my opinion… Maybe Brad understands that you cant please everybody and has a keen eye for people that just cant be pleased or have nothing better to do. Give them a chance! I love my new pizza joint…

Just tried this place for the first time after driving past it for a couple years and boy was I missing out! The Ziti pasta was to die for, and the pizza was great, I even ordered more of it today because it was so amazing yesterday! The owner was super friendly and the prices are low for the amount of food you order! I do not agree with the bad reviews that are on here, I just think that people never stop to write about a wonderful experience that they had instead of only a negative experience! I think I just found my new favorite local pizza spot! Thanks :-)

If I could leave 0 stars for this place, I definitely would. I had an experience with this pizza place 9 months ago. I just got a notification on my phone that I had a comment on my review from the owner. I checked it out and was kind of surprised, but not shocked to see the comment that was on my review. I guess I am a «douche bag», from what I take from what the OWNER is calling me on here. It seems to me that if you are an owner of a company, and a consumer has a bad experience, you would try to make things right. Not this guy. Just by scrolling through and seeing all of the other comments he leaves on the bad reviews, I can tell that this place definitely isn’t going to last very long with those type of antics spewing from the owner from behind a computer screen. Bottom line is, do YOU really want to do business with a place that insults their customers if you have a bad experience at their establishment?! What kind of example is this«Owner» setting for his employees?

First off, I would refer anyone who is thinking about ordering here to the comments the owner has made on reviews. He is extremely rude to everyone with a bad review and has even gone as far as to call one costumer a douche bag. He questioned one persons age, calling them a ten year old. If you ask me he is the ten year old who throws a fit every time someone has a bad review. It’s just really sad to see a grown man act like this. Piss poor costumer service if you ask me. Absolute worst service. I have never experienced anything quite like this. After calling back to fix my order, I got yelled at by the owner. He told me «if your going to spend anymore time on the phone you’re going to have to take your service somewhere else.» I obviously took him up on his offer and went somewhere else. I’ve never been treated so poorly, by the owner none the less. Its safe to say I’ll never be ordering pizza here! It’s funny that the owner claims I had a 14 minute phone call. The phone call was maybe five minutes long. I will be honest I had questions as to what was on their menu, therefore it took a while for me to figure out what to order. However, it wasn’t nearly 14 minutes, that is a complete lie. Now, I did call back a second time to change my order and I tried to add a salad which I was told they were out of. Then I ordered bread sticks and after ordering I expected to be told the total cost of my order so I waited. I was totally patient through out the whole order and all though the person on the phone didn’t have all the answers I was calm and polite. After waiting a bit the owner came on the phone telling me that I was taking way too much time and that only two people work there, so they didn’t have enough time to answer my questions. He even told me to take my service somewhere else. I mean what kind of owner would say that? It was all very unexpected and I was never warned I was taking too much time until the owner yelled at me. The owner claims he didn’t yell at me, however my fiancé was standing right next to me and heard the whole conversation and even she thought he yelled at me. Even if he wants claim he didn’t yell at me, he should at least admit he raised his voice. My fiancée also thought the owner was rude and she was very offended. She wanted to actually go in to the restaurant and confront the owner, but I ended up talking her down hahahaha. I have never had this bad of service. I would expect an apology from the owner in attempt to make things right, but it comes as no surprise that the owner would make excuses and paint me as the bad guy. I hope they can learn from this experience and realize that good customer service is the cornerstone of a great restaurant. Your competitors down the road sure enjoyed our 250 $ order and they were much more polite!

This place is great! I went last Friday with my family and got a jumbo white wash and it was delicious. The people who work there were super friendly and helpful and we got a discount for ordering online. The delivery time was pretty quick and they were even early. Their garlic knots are to die for! Would 100% recommend :)

Terrible! Do not get a calzone. They put a small amount of meat along the edge and then stuff it full of ricotta cheese.

We were good customers from 1997 through 2009 and the food was always excellent. Then the ownership changed and things went south really fast. I’ve been out of the area the last five years, but recently returned and saw an «under new ownership» sign outside, so I thought I’d give it another try. Sadly, it was the worst pizza I have ever had. If I wasn’t so tired from moving I’d drive down there and ask them to throw it away for me. What a shame.

Hate to start the New Year with a bad review but the service was so poor tonight that I could not let it go unmentioned. I placed an order for delivery via their app and promptly received an email saying that it would be delivered by 7:03 pm(order was placed at 6pm on 1÷1÷2015). I started calling the restaurant around 7:30pm and after numerous attempts the phone was never answered by an employee. Each time a call was placed I was greeted with their«sorry we are busy message». At about 7:55 pm I was tired of waiting and decided to drive to Kokomos Pizza. It was less than a 2 mile drive and I was greeted by an empty restaurant. One employee was talking to someone in a car and the other was out doing deliveries. Finally the employee walked away from the car and greeted me in the restaurant. I complained that we had not received our order and that it was already an hour late. He assured me that the delivery driver was already out and that I should be receiving a call shortly. The employee that I talked with at the restaurant made no attempt to appologize nor did he make an attempt to make the situation right(no comps were offered what so ever). Employee gave me the excuse that they were slammed last minute. As a business if you are expecting any delays customers should be courteously notified. Had I known it would have been that delayed I would have picked up the pizza or placed an order somewhere else. Whatever new management took over this restaurant needs to really look into their staffing needs. I hope to hear some sort of response from Kokomos pizza. As of right now I do not recommend that anyone plan to order pizza from here.

This place was okay. The owner was extremely professional both on the phone and in person, and his wait time for the dinner was accurate. The hot wings were $ 1 for each one, which I thought was a little pricy(though they were pretty yummy — baked and not fried). However, my friend and I just thought the pizza was a little doughy and plain. We had the medium works pizza, and it was lacking character and still uncooked on the most inner parts. We REALLY wanted to love this place, but for $ 30 for a medium pizza and some wings, we would go to Stufft pizza or bubba kahuna. Sorry kokamos :(

Five stars because the two guys working here were super friendly, nice, great smiles etc. The pizza was good too. We had the BBQ chicken which was good, I like a little thicker crust, but it was still tasty & good. You can sit inside and watch«Pawn Stars» or whatever that show is. I had never seen it before. I’m not sure where the poor reviews are coming from, but we had a good experience here. Not sure if we will come back only because it’s pretty far from where we live. There are only a handful of events in one’s lifetime that could be considered a milestone. Some examples include turning 18, getting married, having your first child, and buying a house. I have now added eating at Kokomos to that list. I am a pizza connoisseur having tried various styles of pizza from various establishments from the west coast to the east coast. Kokomos is at the top of my list of establishments that succeeded at both providing superior customer service as well as great food. I met the owner the first time I went there. At first glance I had to do a double take because he looked like someone I knew from my old SBC clique. Even though he wasn’t, he was still one cool dude who made my first visit a memorable one. At his recommendation, I tried the salad, Hawaiian pizza, and their thin crust pepperoni. Yes, it was all for me. I’m a pretty hefty guy. The salad was fresh like Will Smith in the 90’s. The pizza was cheesy and gooey, and the crust was perfect. I’m going to have to cut this review short because I’m putting on my momo and getting ready to go to Kokomos right now!
