Have been going here for pizza for years! The people are amazing, very family friendly and remember you when you come back! Love the Doheny Pizza(Thai Pizza), its pricey, but its delicious and hits the spot every time!

We have been enjoying this pizza for over 5 years. While we originally loved it for its proximity to us on Del Prado and price(when you could order it «outlaw style» with 50% less toppings for 50% of the price) when they had a satellite location under another name. We were thrilled to know that the original location at the harbor re-opened many months ago when several of the original employees got the doors back open. They always greet us with a smile. Great sourdough bread and fresh toppings always make this a family treat. We have a fixed income, so we can not eat there as often as we would like despite living locally. The guys there often bless us with free bread and ranch dressing that helps feed a family of four. We’re praying the Lord bless these people and their families through the harbor renovation project. A harbor and beach is just not complete and attractive without a local pizzeria that locals and visitors can afford year round.

This is a slightly hidden gem in the harbor. The pizza is really good and the service is attentive.

I came in here thinking I could grab a quick bite, but boy was I wrong. I walked in to an empty lobby to find the tables covered in dirty plates and napkins, and the employees enjoying their break. After being overcharged for my meal twice because«he didn’t hear me», I waited 15 min for a slice of pizza and a sandwich, during which time other people who came in after me got their food. If I’m paying $ 5 a slice, I expect it to be amazing, and it was really good, as was the sand which. I just wish this place has better service and professionalism

Wanted to check this place out so we ordered a small pizza and got ½ Thai and ½ veggie. The veggie was good but nothing memorable. The Thai had a nice spicy peanut sauce kick to it! I would give them 3.5 stars for their pizza and 5 stars for their service. Would definitely come back if I wanted to grab a quick slice of pizza!

OK… I’ve been coming here for about a decade. I was bummed when I heard they closed. I was happy when I heard they reopened with the same crew. I had pizza there again today after receiving horrible service at Waterman’s…Never going back. This pizza is the same… or the BOMB… little pricey yes… but, Im happy to pay more for quality and consistency. All day every day… glad you’re back. Blessings…

Horrible service. The worst I’ve ever had at a place that I can remember. We weren’t greeted. We ordered after many minutes of waiting and sat a crowded table which we were not seated to by the staff. We waited for almost 45 minutes while the place got messier and messier with plates piling up everywhere. We weren’t given any cups for our drinks. They seemed to have two guys running the entire place during the busiest dinner hour. Absolutely horrible service overall including during our checkout. We were not once asked how the food was and had to grab our own take-out containers. But… the pizza was incredible. So I don’t know what happened that particular night, but service like that is completely unacceptable and if we had not paid upon ordering(which was odd seeing as it was a restaurant) I would have walked out 100%.

Best deal in town! Tuesday or Thursday«All you can eat spaghetti» and it comes with a drink, salad and garlic bread that is too die for! Portions are humongous even without the all you can eat, I would highly recommend this place!

Decent food, but please check your receipt. They charged me $ 1 for a «take-out» charge. When a pizza is over $ 20++ to charge you for the box is ridiculous…

Nice meal after a long day at the beach! We got a large pizza, which was super pricey for $ 30… The wait for our food to some out was really long. Maybe over 20 minutes. The customers who ordered after us also got their food first… The salad came in a to go box when we didn’t ask for to go, and was really good, but it was very small for a ‘large’ salad. The pizza part was really hot and delicious for the most part, but the crust wasn’t that great. I’ve had better.

Did I hit this place on a bad night? Did I order the wrong thing(sausage, tomatoes and onion) ? Unilocal usually makes magic for me. This time not so much. It could be that I’m looking for SAUCE on a pizza… Can’t seem to find it. The place is cute, the service good. The pizza seemed bland and sort of boring in general.

Was in town for a quick night on the way down to San Diego. Family wanted pizza and this place hit the mark on Unilocal.Went thru the menu, called and placed my order. Found out the address on Unilocal is right but Google Maps takes me up the street instead near the waterfront where the businesses(and this one) is. Google Maps told me i’d arrived and was around a slew of houses. I knew something was up ended up using an address for a near by place(x71 and not x73) made a U-Turn to head down the road to the correct place. Parking was tight, but looked out«Wolf» Style with front row as someone was leaving. Popped inside, got my order from what looked like the Super Mario brothers(Luigi and Mario)(Cheese with ½ Olive) Medium, a New Port Special(Pesto, veggies and Shrimp) and a Salad. They were quick, packed and the food was on spot as Unilocal’ers had said. Hit the liquor store next door for some waters and ice-tea and off to the hotel I went. I’ll be back next time in town!

I’m so excited that Beach Harbor Pizza has risen from the ashes of Beach Cities Pizza! The old Beach Cities Pizza had really gone downhill over the last several years. Now BHP is awesome and the new owners are fantastic. Sourdough crust with the right amount of crisp and great quality ingredients make for one tasty pizza. I am very picky about pizza and this ranks in my top 3. We eat here once a week and it’s worth the drive from San Clemente.

We had a hankering for pizza so we turned to Unilocal and found this place. We ordered the Santa Fe pizza and garlic cheese bread — they were both deeeelish! This is a family-owned joint and I loved the general vibe of it. Everyone was easygoing and the service was great. If I lived in DP, I’d come here regularly. I really love the family atmosphere — great place if you come alone or with a bunch of people!

Francisco and Mario are here to bring us all the food we already love. If you were a Beach Cities Pizza fan… Come back and support Beach Harbor Pizza. If you never tried Beach Cities Pizza, come in and have taste of the best Pizza around. Was not disappointed. Service was great, the restaurant clean and fresh. And these guys are still cooking up our favorites! Be sure to ask for the garlic as well if you order the breadsticks. They are still serving pies with the toppings piled high. The cheese will stretch across the table. Looking forward to trying the Spaghetti special next time. Small pizza easily serves 2, also ask about pizza by the slice. Will be back as often as I can!

Went there twice this weekend. It is now owned by the former cooking staff so the Pizza is as good /better than it was before. They really cleaned up and opened up the interior which is better for groups. Go check it out, Francisco is awesome. Patio is dog friendly. Breadsticks are amazing.

This place used to be called Beach Cities Pizza. Without going into too many details, it was closed & then reopened/named by the cooking staff. Well, I’m happy to let you know that the food quality is just as good as Beach Cities(including their amazing bread sticks)! The chefs obviously knew they had a good thing going so why change it? The insides have definitely gotten a fresh coat of paint. I was sad to see the somewhat tacky mural go, but let’s be honest. It really did need to go. Sometimes you gotta let go of nostalgia. In the end, I’m so happy this place is open and my family and I can continue to come here for another 20+ years.
