Their bagels are better than where I used to go. The only thing is that I asked them to seal the bag, not knowingly that the bagels would sweat some what. Otherwise always a good choice. How about pumpernickel bagels?

It is an amazing shop that is passed by none. Amazing food and coffee with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is by far my favorite breakfast place that is a great local hangout. They also support the community and give back in many ways.

The shop can pack pretty deep on a weekend morning and it’s small, very small so hope that everyone around you has showered! While there is no comparison to an East Coast bagel, they are pretty decent for California. My kids love the super cinnamon and chocolate chip. I love the cracked wheat and spinach Parmesan. They even have a decent egg salad sandwich and for 6 bucks, it’s a great deal! The real thing bringing my rating down is the service and attitude of the staff and owner. It definitely trickles down here.

Great bagel selection. Fresh and tasty. Also there is a coffee bar with Gavina brand coffee which was very tasteful and fresh. You can even get refills. Careful not to order off the menu though or make a specialty bagel sandwich request because they’ll charge for each and everything… our breakfast came out to $ 25 Next time we’ll just get the bagels to go and make the sandwiches at home.

This place would be great if they took care of the customers in order… Had English speaking cashiers… And honored their coupons. But they don’t. And if you write a poor review you end up harassed by Howard. The bagels are good. But if you have the extra 2 minutes I’d go to the harbor and go to coffee importers.

I absolutely love small businesses that take pride in their product, and in their service. This place nailed it! My wife and I were preparing for a trip to Catalina and I knew I wanted something doughy and delicious in my stomach before the trip. I am a vegetarian but needed protein so I had the Veggie Bagel sandwich and added egg whites. Bagel was delicious, the cream cheese was tasty and fluffy, the veggies were the perfect texture and the egg and cheese was the right proportion. To put simply, it was EXACTLY what I wanted. The owner was friendly, polite and happy to oblige my pre-coffee, pre-bagel whiny particularity without batting an eye. If the opportunity ever presents itself, I will go out of my way to go back! Great place!

I have been having my bagels for the last 20 years at I love bagels in Laguna Niguel, so when I saw the sign in Dana Point, no brainier went to have my bagel there. But maybe I have been spoiled for the friendliness and quality of The store in a Laguna niguel. Here in Dana Point, big gray hair guy the most rude and unfriendly human being: bark my order . promise never again, if far from my Favorite store in Laguna, better for hungry

I Love Bagels is a great spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. I like that they have thin bagels you can get your sandwich on. The food is fresh and good quality and the people who work there are very nice. I like the thin everything bagel sandwich. I Love Bagels is definitely in my regular lunch rotation.

Best bagels in the area, made fresh everyday with plenty of cream cheese, coffee is fresh and a great variety. We either go for the jalapeño and cheese bagel or the chocolate chip. Also serves sandwiches, we will have to try. Only issue is a long line especially weekends, but well worth the wait!

I ordered an everything bagel«open-faced» with lox cream cheese and sliced tomatoes. I also bought a small tube of cream cheese. When I looked at my receipt, I was STUNNED to see that I was charged $ 1.50 for«open-faced» which is ROBBERY. GODFORBID a bagel shop(that obviously serves food to customers) has a knife and it takes one second to slice the bagel in half. CAREFULEVERYONE. You’ll be charged $ 1.50 for this simple, one-second request. RIDICULOUSANDOUTRAGEOUS!!! Also, the short, dark-haired kid who took my order was HORRIBLE with Customer Service. I had to repeat my order to him FIVETIMES. Yes, FIVETIMES. He never smiled, no eye contact, no «Hi how are you?» No «Thank you» No «Have a nice day» NOTHING. I was forced to give this place one star or else I couldn’t write/post my review, but this place gets a HUGE zero in my book. I’ve been to the«I Love Bagels» in Oceanside MANY times, and they always get 5 stars in my book. This Dana Point location is ABSURD for the reasons I mentioned above.

Great bagels that are well priced. They have definitely gotten better at re-stocking their bagels.

Friendly staff, a variety of equally delicious options for breakfast or lunch and some damn good bagels. I suggest the spinach Parmesan with butter or the bagel dog. One of my favorite places for breakfast on the go and definitely a staple in the community.

Ordered the turkey bagel sandwich, it said slow oven-roasted turkey(thinking: ohh, sounds like a hot sandwich). When I got it, it was cold sliced turkey that seems like it just came from the Ralph’s deli next-door. I should’ve just gone to ralphs and got bagels, deli turkey, and cheese for the same price and make 2 – 3 of them. I personally would drive up to LA to go to Western bagel where they actually serve Boars Head turkey roast, cut in front of you, while you watch the steam escape from every slice they make. They also use green leaf lettuce, not the iceberg(water) lettuce. Costs less at Western Bagel and better quality. Definitely disappointed. –_– Pricey sandwiches for lame quality.
