Let me start out by saying for a fast food chain, the food is good. Customer service is ok, not the worst I’ve encountered but could be alot better. They always tend to mess up my order which is a bit frustrating.
Today though, the manager was taking my order and came off a bit rude. Even more so when I told her they messed up my order AGAIN, she fixed it but didn’t even apologize or say anything at all. I still said thank you and walked off.
If you want something quick with decent value come here. Otherwise, there are multiple other options that are better in quality and service!

Stopped here to grab some dinner for my family, screaming kids had to do something fast. Ordered the 20 piece family meal, when I got home they forgot to give me the tortillas and salad dressing, just annoying.

This El Pollo Loco is my favorite lunch spot. Laguna Niguel Golden Lantern at Bear Brand. I really enjoy their Tortilla Soup. But the reason I go so often is the staff is very nice. They always do a good job. They are great at customer service.

Wasn’t happy with them last time i went there but decided to try it again thinking they had improved and the commercials made me think it looked good .Well i ordered a three piece chicken combo and after a long wait got my order and went home. I then realized the menu should have said «Chicken Jerky «. The chicken was burned and all dried out i couldn’t eat it. The grill was full of chicken but they must get rid of the old stuff in To Go orders figuring you won’t drive all the way back to return it. Very disappointing.

I tried to order a 10 piece combo that was supposed to cost $ 20.99, and the order person charged me $ 29.99. She couldn’t explain it or even give me the right salsa, don’t come here. Her name is Cynthia, and she Gould not work the window. The one by costco is great, and you should
there. How they decide to raise the price when it is curse on the menu is beyond me. Also, the timer showed that I waited 12 minutes, which is unacceptable for a drive through. So I then got my order, and they actually asked to take some items out of the bag because they were for another customer. You really want your food coming from another persons mistake order??? El pollo loco should respond to this!!!

Went Thursday, in lieu of sushi at Choya’s and ordered 8 piece family dinner. Came out really fast but to my dismay the salsa bar was not stocked. So much for them, have to impose a personal fine of $ 200, vis a vis not going to visit them for two years.

I pass by here some evenings on my way home from work. The nachos are good and I get them with extra beans, no meat. Just want to say that the drive through crew here is top notch– they’re so friendly! I rarely experience this level of cheer and service anywhere. I hope the owners/​managers get these review notifications, because they have a great staff!

El Pollo Loco has the greatest dollar menu around. I routinely eat there for under $ 5.00 and get four different items. Today was the side salad, quesadilla, taco, and (for a change of pace), the buffalo wings. The dollar items were killer as usual and the wings were a surprise. They were good (fried not grilled unfortunately), but the sauce was not a traditional wing sauce, but more of a mexican garlic blend. Still, I would recommend them to all who asked. It did however, take me ten minutes to explain that I only wanted drummettes and not the actual wings, that was kind of a bummer. The only challenge was the amount of food. About 2/3’s of the way through the meal, I was full, but I enjoyed as much as I could. Great value.

Good location if you’re not in the mood for BK or Subway. The employees are always friendly & give you extra salsa if you ask! Unlike other locations *ahem SA* Green salsa all day everyday! No weak pico de gallo please. Seriously I rather have the «hot sauce» at Taco Bell & that is saying a lot. Anyways I usually order the same things when I go. Chicken tacos al carbon or the two piece meal. Seriously their tacos are the business! Nothing fancy to them just some cilantro & onions, but add some green salsa & DAMN!!! The taco is completely transformed into the best of the best chicken taco I’ve ever had! Mmmmm lunch time is almost here can you say Pollo Loco?

This place is lame. I went to drive-​thru for a gucamole jalapeño chicken burger and waited patiently for 10 minutes. When I get to the window the attedant says, «Oh, we’re out of everything you ordered because we’re closing early today.»
You’ve got to be frickin’ kidding me! Thanks for making me wait in line all the while dreaming of my chicken sandwich dinner… ASS!
Ever hear of a little thing called customer service? I’m pretty sure it’s somewhere there in your job description.
Never again.
