Dana Point Am Pm

Would give a minus five if possible… Stopped to fill up truck and boat for a nice day out on the ocean… I was my normal happy self… Great mood… No work. Fish to catch… Started the fill up and decided I should go pee before I got to the launch… Walked inside and asked to use the restroom. The clerk would not make eye contact with me but with his broken English stated something about broken. I asked again. He said fuck you… Now in one split second my blood starts to boil and I start thinking of how I’m going to rip him out from behind the counter and beat… you know the story… But then I remember I can Unilocal about it so I don’t have to go to jail again… Anyway I am twice his size so I gave the small guy a few choice words of my own and walked away… Stopped my pump from the fill up… Walked to the side of the building and used the wall… Went fishing and had a great time… After reading other reviews I understand they do this often. I have also read they attempt to charge people to use the restroom which I think is illegal… If anyone would like to get together to file a complaint about this place let me know I would enjoy it.

Charged my Bf $.25 to use the bathroom after having spent $ 55 on gas. Seriously? Not trying to be cheap over a quarter, but WTF?

it’s tough to be the first to review a place and give it a low rating, but i want to be honest. in terms of convenience, it isn’t too bad. right on the PCH, well-​lit signs, and parking did not seem to be a problem. there doesn’t seem to be many other convenience stores in the area, so it helps that AM/​PM is open 24hrs.
i’ve only been there in the evenings and seen one guy and he’s ok.
for prices and selection, however, this store is lacking. i know it’s a convenience store, but the prices of potato chips and candy are like double what you might find elsewhere. i also did not see much in terms of hot foods.
comparing this to most other convenience stores i’ve been to, it’s hard for me to give it a full three stars. sorry.
