Great place to get coffee and bagels at in the morning. Beautiful view of the harbor and fun place to people watch haha. It gets very busy so make sure you have the extra time to stand in line. James

The location is the best part, the bagels don’t stand out too much, coffee isn’t that great. Always a super long line. If you get any bagel with the lemon pepper, make sure to ask for it to be light as they have a heavy hand when rushed.

Food is very good. Was there 2⁄26 at 1pm. But have rudest young girl, brunette(Michelle or Mikel) working there, every time I come there she is rude and hostile. That makes this place very unpleasant to go to. It’s a shame that an owner does not keep an eye on the staff… destroys a business.

**Ice cream review only** Lots of great looking flavors to choose from with high pricing that’s to be expected. I chose pecan praline and cookies ‘n cream. Unfortunately, the ice cream was so creamy thick salty(if that makes any sense), that I went back to ask for water. Who drinks water with their ice cream? (And yes, this establishment does have Boneyard Café’s signage hanging next to the entrance… they must be somehow connected.)

I went here because I got a free coupon by getting a Catalina Express ticket. The line was loooong on a Saturday morning, so I thought that it must be good. The menu didn’t list the type of coffees they had, which was strange considering«coffee» is in their name. I had to wait until I got to the register to ask what they had. They seemed to only have two types, so I ordered chocolate macadamia. It was made super fast, which made me think it just came out of a machine of already pre-made stuff. I added some chocolate sprinkles and then headed off. When I tried it during my walk, it just tasted like plain coffee, with no hint of chocolate at all. It smelled like chocolate, but the taste was just not there at all. I added two packets of sugar, but it still just wasn’t sweet enough for someone like me that would order a chocolate drink in the first place. EDIT: The manager replied to me and explained that Coffee Importers has two locations right next to each other — a bagel shop and a coffee shop. Apparently I ordered coffee from the bagel shop. I still think this is strange, though. When I got to the cashier at the bagel shop and asked what types of coffee they had, shouldn’t the cashier have told me that the coffee shop was next door?

Perfect location facing the harbor. There is limited indoor seating but the outside settings is plenty. It was packed and apparently there are lots of regulars. They all have the same travel mugs to fill the coffee. That indicates a good place where people come back over and over. The staff are very friendly too.

I came here after my whale watching tour. I was super hungry. They have a huge selection of smoothies, juices coffee and basic café food. I ordered a healthy carrot/beet/ginger juice and a bowl of clam chowder. It was a gorgeous warm day. Would love to return during the evening. There are also seals and sea lions hanging out near the boats, so you’ll have company.

Amazing breakfast place standing up to my sweet home parisian cafés. Food was great, healthy and tasty. The set on the harbor absolutely charming. Final words to the waitress(kendall jenner?) whose dazzling smile put stars into my eyes.

Smoothies and bagels. You can’t go wrong. Everything is always so fresh. Plus, you have a great view of Dana Point Harbor.

Have tried the PB&J which comes on toasted bread & definitely hits the spot! Their lattes are really smooth unlike any I’ve had before! Their carrot cake & lemon bars are a sweet, delicious treat! And it was great to sit by the boats and watch the sunset in their relaxing outdoor seating

Toasted bagels were cold. When they get busy quality falls. Long wait too. Great location.

I’m heading here today after several months away. I crave the bagel open sandwich with the avocado and lemon pepper salt. It’s the perfect lunch before, during or after a bike ride! Can’t wait!

Came here bought 2 ice cream cones and the lady didn’t put it on the cone correctly so both ice cream cones fell on the ground. The girl behind the counter stared at me rudely and shrugged her shoulders at me. Talk about horrible customer service! Not ever returning here again.

Enjoyed the breakfast bagel and coffee. It was especially delightful to eat there close to the water.

They are the only café in the marina area so they get all the business when it comes to coffee, pastry and just a short beak while waling the dog. They seem like they’ve been here forever and God forgot about them, everything looks like it wasn’t replaced or upgraded since 1985. The service is good and they have a nice selection of coffee and pastries, nothing fancy or special, but since they have a constant stream of customers all is good.

Love this place!!! My husband and I always come here and grab a coffee before going for a walk around the harbor! I lived on the harbor latte while pregnant lol! The staff is awesome, always so sweet! They remember their regular customers which is awesome. There’s a cute old lady that I see every time I’m in there, drinking the same coffee in the same spot. She told me it’s her favorite place and she wouldn’t go anywhere else! My son loves this place and their chocolate muffins

My first impression was that this place was cute. Although I didn’t like that I had to order my lunch and my latte from separate locations… The cashier was rather standoffish, but not particularly mean. I had the turkey Panini and it was delicious(If you don’t like to eat whole onions and peppers, ask for them to go light or they will pile them on. I took off about half of what they put on). The latte was delicious. The ambiance was nice, right off the water with a beautiful view. There wasn’t anything that really stood out, but I would definitely eat here again next time I’m in Dana Pt.

Hands down my favorite place in Dana Point for coffee and breakfast! They really don’t skimp on their breakfast bagels, and they’re not crazy expensive either. Add that to the nice location(right on the marina) and you’ve got the perfect weekend breakfast spot! Try taking a stroll down the marina if you visit! It makes for a really nice walk after breakfast :)

I love love love this place! Recommend: Crème Brulee Latte, California Bagel Seating: Nice area inside or you can go outside where you overlook the harbor Their coffee is so good and if you ask to receive your coffee ‘for here’ they will make a cute design out of the foam. Now lets see if you get that kind of service at starbucks… TIP*** Not only does this place serve coffee but they have ice cream inside the coffee shop and right next door they have bagels, smoothies… etc. So I would suggest going to order a bagel first since the line takes about 10 min, then go order your coffee and both should be ready at about the same time!
