Only went here before it was right next to this sushi restaurant my brother really likes. The inside is clean and I do like that they have 4 different sizes to choose from and that they have a lot of different flavors/drinks to try. What I didn’t like was my drink itself. Both me and brother left unhappy and unsatisfied. I got the lychee black tea with baby pearls. Usually my go to drink anywhere I go because it’s simple and it’s good. But I was so disappointed. The pearls tasted like they were old because of its texture and my drink had no ice. On top of that the flavor was pretty bland. Didn’t even really tastes like tea. Tasted more like water. It was just watery room temperature tea with old boba, yuck. Both me and my brother ended up throwing away our drinks. Ugh, not a place to try.

I had their Hong Kong style milk tea and was surprised by their good quality. Most restaurants tend to serve watered down milk tea so when Teaven put a star next to this beverage, I was quite skeptical. If you visit in the evening, they offer a free size upgrade. However their boba quality is horrible around 10PM since it’s been sitting around all day. It pretty much shattered into a million pieces on my first bite. I’d visit this place again for their Hong Kong style milk tea if I’m in the area.

MYFAVORITEPLACETOGETTAROMILKTEA!!! *Their boba is my favorite as well* I love their taro flavor: it’s perfectly flavored… not too sweet and not too watery or bland. It’s PERFECT. Also their boba is my FAVORITE as well. It has a nice chewy texture and isn’t too hard or too mushy, just PERFECT. Every time I come here I only order taro milk tea. *free upgrade after 7pm! They also have stamp cards and buy 2 of either taro, Thai, or jasmine? Milk tea and get a third one for free! What’s not to love about this place? I will definitely be back… over and over again :)

This literally is the WORSE boba place. Ordered Oolong ‘Milk Tea’ with boba. Tried it, HATEDIT. It was literally water with boba with no sweetness. Boba was half half but the milk tea was the worse. Tasted like Chinese medicine. Paid about 5 bucks for water and boba. DONOT try this place!!!

Service sucks, and the place is dirty most of the time! But they have great Popcorn(crispy) chicken.

Not the best, but not the worst. I think they know that their stuff isn’t that great, so they offer happy hour prices and discounted combos. From Sun-Thurs, if you order a drink after 7pm, they’ll upgrade it for free. Also, if you check in, they’ll upgrade it for free. So, you get more of their watered down boba. They also have taro boba now. I guess that’s good? Drink sizes are creative(prince, princess, etc.), but the food is just your stereotypical frozen and fried selection of fries, calamari, etc. I can’t really recommend anything because it’s just sweet syrup and weak tea, but if you need something fast, and you don’t want Quickly’s, and you can’t get to the Sunset, I guess this will do the trick.

Super slow service. When I walked in, I had to wait couple minute for the employee to get out from the restroom. Sigh!(At least he washed his hand)

This place is just average. It’s a good place to settle for if you’re craving boba but you’re too lazy to drive into the City for better boba. They have 4 different sizes(princess, prince, queen and king) and you get a free size upgrade if you check-in! The seating area always appears sticky when I come here so I always order to-go. Also, parking is super annoying to deal with because you have to fight for a spot with people that don’t know how to drive(smh). I’m always looking for a good avocado smoothie and Teaven’s is pretty on point! Their boba is nice and soft(most days) and popcorn chicken is also decent.

Um… I guess. Really watered down tea. I asked and paid for aloe and uh… There were chunks in my drink but they tasted like nothing.

If you’re living between Daly City and Colma, basically near Eastmoor Ave., this is probably the best place for boba. Although the Sheng Kee in 99 Ranch has cheaper boba drinks with limited selection(I like their honey green tea better than Teaven — the flavor is sweeter). They have stamp cards which is nice and gets people coming back.

If you like medicine after taste type tea then this the place for you! If not, avoid at all cost!!! Service is terrible as their employees body gesture suggest they don’t want to be there. Also the reno lower don’t know how to use the Unilocal free upgrade. This effin place charged me incorrectly. Lastly adding bobba or other extras will run you between $.45−1.15 more. In the end your better off driving to tpumps or worst case scenario quicklys. Not coming back here again.

Awesome cute place with a claw machine. Prince princess queen King sizes. Avocado smoothie was on point. Looking tea was pretty steady. Check in on Unilocal for a coupon. Parking sucks.

Unlike all the negative Unilocalers, we’ve been happy to receive generally good service from the counter staff and consistently good food from the staff in the back kitchen(since they started offering cooked options). We’ve been somewhat regular customers since they opened and have seen the changes to the shop through the years, noticed the frequent counter staff changes(but hey, they hire teens & teens change jobs) and have had the occasional«off par» service from a distracted young employee but overall have been happy with our drinks, food & experience. The boba has never been overcooked or overtly sweet/not sweet enough & the fried tofu & crispy chicken are really good for the price(**be sure to ask for a plastic bag if you’re taking the food to go as the paper bags will tear through from the steam & heat of the food**). When we come here, we’re not expecting«fancy» anything — you get what you pay for & what we’ve received has always been quality food & drinks. When we see someone who’s been around for a year or more, we’re happy to talk to them & hope that they know that they’re appreciated. I think it’s far too easy to be critical of people who work in the fast food industry & too easy to post about a bad experience…

I’ve had so much better. I came here after getting dim sum at Dim Sum King in the same plaza. There’s a menu posted above the cashier with the typical drinks and add-ons. I checked in on Unilocal and got a free size upgrade for my drinks. Teaven offers 4 drink sizes: Princess, Prince, Queen, and King. I ordered a Queen sized Pineapple Smoothie and a Queen sized Passion Fruit Smoothie w/boba. My Pineapple Smoothie was really good, but I just wish there was a little more pineapple flavoring. The Passion Fruit Smoothie came out with no boba and I had to ask the worker to add it for me. Too bad we can’t hand back the drink to get our money back because the drink was not good. I would have given Teaven 3 stars for just being average, but I thought it was very unprofessional and a turn off that the cashier had this friend that talked to her over the counter cussing and yelling about some high school drama. On top of that, the cashier started cussing at the other workers when she realized they didn’t tell her that they were out of watermelon. This place is run by some unprofessional people and my friends and I agreed to pass on this place next time.

Pretty good crispy chicken and calamari! Drinks are not on par with their competitors including T-Pumps and Sharetea but it will do for something that’s really close to my home. I’ve been on the hunt for a brown rice milk tea that was comparable to Sharetea and I found out Teaven had some so I decided to try. Boy was i disappointed :(seems like they just poured milk into my tea and it wasn’t sweetened and the boba was a bit tough. For boba this place is more of something I settle with. For snacks, definitely a good choice for something close to home! Service overall is hit or miss. Some have been really friendly while others don’t smile too much. Meh, this used to be Tapioca Express but I’d say it’s on par with Quickly. Boba wise, I much prefer the ones at T-Pumps or Sharetea.

I tried their hot almond milk tea and it was delicious. It was one of the best I have had in San Francisco. It was not overly sweet. For once, it was hot. Most places do not serve their milk tea hot. It’s always warm.

This place was disgusting. It is very dirty and I just don’t feel safe drinking anything from here let alone eat something… I love milk tea but I did not hesitate in tossing my full cup of milk tea I got from here after sipping it and discovering its awful but also diluted taste. I don’t even know what I’m drinking

*Try their taro boba!* Its made with real taro bits and is a bit firmer than normal boba. It is a unique addition to this boba spot. The drinks themselves are average. What gets me most is the pricing. A simple large milk tea can cost you $ 4 plus adding toppings can come to a total of $ 5+. Thats quite a lot if you’re comparing the value to say… purple kow where a chubby cup with toppings can even be cheaper. I do commend on the service, most of the employees ive encountered were friendly. There was one time where one lady made my drink wrong, and let me have both the wrong and the right order to keep for the mishap. Thats going above and beyond!

Free upgrade with Unilocal check-in but it wasn’t that good. All three of us didn’t love our milk teas and they were three different ones. Too sweet or too watery was our complaints. Personally, would not come back. Service was okay. There’s food options here. The pics look yum of course but I didn’t have it to report on this. Clean location.

They’ve updated the place. Good! Looks much nicer and the menu is easier to read. Drinks = good. I had the jasmine milk tea with small boba. Tea is delicious and refreshing and the boba is decent.(I prefer sago over boba but their boba isn’t too bad.). I saw something called ice milk… Must try it sometime. Prices = moderate. Service = friendly but they’re slow. Just be patient.
