I love their lime lemonade. It’s sooo good. But I recently tried their new mango lemonade and I’m in love. Soooo delish! If Hot Dog on a Stick is near I definitely can’t pass on the mango lemonade. You should totally try some!

I was waiting there and a girl who was working there went to the back without explaining what she was doing then she came back and said she was on break and said that she couldn’t help us and no one else was there.

There were 3 staff members working but they can’t keep their lemonade stocked up. It’s a bit inefficient today, lots of chattering amongst each other. One guy poured the lemonade on the counter to the customer in line.

Great guys and a damn good dog! It is a fresh made to order corn dog. They also sell French fries and 3 flavors of lemonade. If you know what a hot dog on a stick is then you don’t really need any further explanation

Corn dog and fries were too hard and over cooked, despite the friendly service. Not too sure if she really didn’t know how to cook it or was just not concentrating hard enough.

You know you like it. Carnival food. Yep, don’t lie. Believe it or not, in the twenty years that I’ve seen Hot Dog on a Stick at numerous malls in the Bay Area, I’ve never tried any of their food until now. What the heck was I thinking? That was a very good corn dog! I like that they made it to order. I like the crispiness of the outer crust, the fluffiness of the inner cornmeal coating, and the no frills flavor of the hot dog inside. I can’t decide what was the best part of it, the low price or the fact that it wasn’t soggy or dripping in oil from the fryer. They were having a special flavored lemonade for the day: mango. So I went for it and was again pleasantly surprised. Good balance between the mango and lemon flavors. It was like mango with an extra tart kick in the end. I hope they keep that on the menu for a little while longer. I’m definitely going to go back and sample more of their menu items. Agree with the others who said their service is excellent. It really is, all the way down to the warning not to immediately bite into the corn dog because it’s hot off the fryer. Totally appreciate that. No wonder this vender has been around for ages. Give them a try.

Gotta love Hot Dog on a Stick! It’s basically carnival food available at your doorstep!.. sorta, but at the mall. HDOS is well-known for their lemonades and corn dogs. They also offer fried cheese sticks, fries, and funnel sticks! For me, I love to order their lemonades, corn dogs, and fries. I have tried the funnel sticks recently and not a huge fan of it. But if you are interested, it is covered in powdered sugar and drizzled between raspberry sauce and chocolate sauce — or both! The franchise at this location provides excellent service, especially Jessica! Normally there are 1 – 2 employees working, and when I came, Jessica was the only person. I’m surprised at how well she can handle the crowd!

Joseph M. Should learn how to NOT have side conversations while taking orders and pushing customers along. When they’re not even busy. Thanks for the wet tray too punk!

I worked here late 2013, and man oh man I would definitely avoid this place at ALL costs. There is ONE worker at ALL times, which in turn creates so many health violations and hazards. When it gets busy and a line forms and there’s one person, what do you think happens? That’s right, time flies and the next thing you know, the lemonade has been sitting out for over 2 hours(the maximum allowed time). There are countless times where in the morning when opening, boxes of lemons would be infested by fruit flies and mold! The funny thing is, was that we were NOT required to wash the lemons prior to squeezing them! It’s disgusting. If dirty lemonade is not enough to scare you, I would also avoid the flavored ones. We add syrup. That’s right, syrup, to flavor the drinks. The company requires stores to «hide» the syrups so that customers don’t see it! Shameful! Lastly, prices are ridiculous. Whenever I served someone, I couldn’t help but feel guilty for charging so much for the products here! A hotdog, fries, and lemonades was in the $ 10 price range. You can get a two-entrée plate at Panda Express for less than that! P.S if you support human cruelty, then go here.(For about minimum wage, we do the same work as a slave would. It looks like all fun and games when you see an employee stomping lemonade. Little do you know, it’s exhausting and detrimental to our bones and joints.

I never ever liked corndogs, even as a kid. But this place, I can’t ever seem to give less than 4 stars(unless the food is hella bad or the service is whack.) Hot Dog on a Stick has been in Serramonte for as long as I can remember. It used to be where Quickly is located, and it had a more simpler look. Now it’s near Orange Julius and Great Steak. Back then, their menu was pretty simple. Corndogs, french fries, lemonade. But over the years they’ve added more to their menu. Cheesedogs, fried cheese, hotdogs. Different flavors of lemonade. As a kid, I always removed the breading from the hotdog, but nowadays I’ll swallow up my pride and eat the breading also. And surprisingly, it’s not that bad, especially for something from a mall. The prices have increased over the years, sucks. I like how simple they always keep it. Food in tiny trays. That machine they use to squeeze lemons for their lemonade. The way they dip & fry their dogs. Simple stuff. I rarely get corndogs now, but I really like their funnel cake sticks. Sorta like funnelcake, but easier to eat. It comes out hella hot but it tastes so gewwwd. I like the raspberry syrup better than the chocolate. It seems to taste better with the powdered sugar. Lemonade, who can go wrong with that? 3 different flavors, my favorite is cherry I think(the red one. Cherry or strawberry, can’t quite tell). Suddenly I want to eat a corndog!

I’m tellin ya, nothing beats a good ol Hot Dog on a Stick! They’ve added a New York dog too! Anyways, the food will never let you down here — if that’s what your looking for. I posted a pic of a sign they had today«We’ll be right back» and everyone passing by in the course of that five minutes were giving that poor guy a hard time! I’m sorry peeps, keep calm and move on. Props to Jerome who handled that situation so well to this lady that was giving him the hot dog pressure of selling it to her. But he gotta handle his business woman! Let the man handle it, then he can help. Jeez! Props Jerome!

Nothing beats a hot dog on a stick… wait…two hot dogs on sticks does. Friendly staff, fast service. One of the guys got my order going before I started paying. A+ stuff everybody. Delicious dog. I just don’t dig Splenda being used in the lemonade. That’s a corporate choice though, not theirs.

I have loved Hot Dog on a Stick since I can remember! Not once did I get a bad corn dog or service from this establishment. Not even from the one in Stonestown. I cam here today with my boyfriend and ordered a hot dog on a stick(duh?). The total came out to about $ 3.09 and yes, prices have definitely jumped since I first had one. Yes, the corn dog itself can be a little bland, but just dip it in some ketchup and/or mustard and you’re good to go. And by the way, their fries aren’t bad either. It’s not crunchy, but it’s fresh and delicious in ketchup. Yumm. And the service today was good, too. It was only one girl working in the front(and a guy in the back) and she smiled at me when she greeted me.

So I’m definitely biased because I worked here and have friends that work here still, but Hot Dog on a Stick is definitely a great place to work, especially when you’re in high school, and a great place to grab a quick bite. Prices have climbed, but the value and quality of the food is still there and never compromised. Food is fresh and this location doesn’t skimp on anything. I love the food and lemonade here, but have slowly weened myself off of it. The one thing I never actually ate all that much was the Hot Dog on a Stick, I was more a veggie dog(which is bigger and tastier IMO) and cheese sticks. Funnel cake here is just as good as anything you’d get at a fair/theme park, without the long drive and even longer lines.
