Horrible service. Sub-par food. Been here an hour and they’ve only brought out 4 dishes. The staff here are rude. They’re out of most of the usual dim sum dishes. Tempted to get take-out next door at TC Pastries and move the party home.

Had dim sum here. I thought dim sum was good and hot. Free parking in this mini mall. TV available to watch while awaiting dim sum ordered by checking off a list of what you want. Service was prompt. Place needs a redesign or upgrade to not look so old or dirty. Clean carpets and change chairs. Restroom needs work as urinals inoperable, soap dispensers corroding, paper towel dispenser empty, toilet flusher not fully operational

This place offers okay dim sum. The nice part is, there is no wait. So if you’re looking to get a big family seated fast, they do seem to have large enough of a facility to accommodate you. The restaurant, halls and bathrooms are standard Chinese-restaurant style — not so clean or fancy.

5 star on the service. Was craving Chinese food and we came to the right spot. Customer service at its best. Not sure if it was a slow night but we were tended to right away by the hostess/waitress. She kind of made me feel like she was my auntie or something. She made me feel as if I was at a cousins house n all they want u to do is eat eat eat. Would come here again for the good authentic style Chinese food. She made the kitchen make my favorite(dim sum style pork spare ribs). Yummmyyyyyy

Due to such bad press aka Unilocal reviews, we were pleasantly surprised a 7-course banquet at lunch was quite good here. Presentation was very nice and the food was delicious. Ingredients were all fresh. Except for two dishes, portions were ample. In general, there was more than enough food to satisfy all. There were 12 people at each table. Service was very efficient. The staff was polite. They even separated the flesh from the bone on the whole steamed fish. That doesn’t happen very much at Chinese restaurants, anymore. Don’t pay much attention to the building exteriors and interiors on this property. They definitely need some sprucing up. Maybe the property owners and tenants would consider a facelift. That would make going to this complex more desirable.

I ordered sweet and sour pork chop, beef fried rice, the herb sea turtle soup, chicken, satay beef with vermicelli, fried pig feet, squad, and veggie tonight. I would say 90% of them were all good in taste. The service was at least better than a lot of similar style restaurants. Because I read some reviews before I went, so I didn’t scare by the décor. However, i think the prices in average are too high with the décor though. Maybe that’s why we were the only table at that time and total were only three when we left.

Waitress gave bad customer service. Waited 30 min for a to-go box and bill. The wor won ton soup was horrible. No flavor at all.

Good restaurant for dim sum. Parking is a private lot. The food is pretty good for the pricing and they have many selection. i would recommend this place given the price and selection.

I realized I am not the only person on Unilocal complain about the ugly dirty decorations in the restaurant! Want to do a little update here. Food quality remains the same. Service was good, dim sum ladies were nice. However, the dirty yellow Chinese paintings were still hanging on the walls. The cheap ugly balls were still hanging on the cycling! Really curious why can’t they take those away?

Dim sum tastes old… like it was made a while ago then reheated. YUCK!!! This place is pretty empty even during prime hours and the servers are just standing around. It’s quite depressing. The owner or manager is extremely hasty and sour… Perhaps due to slow business? Well, lady, if your business is not doing well, you should improve your attitude towards your customers. Will not come back here. Ever.

I’ve been here plenty of times for Sunday dim sum and all I can say about this place is: meh. Sure, you’ll get your standard dim sum here but if there are other options this wouldn’t be my first. There isn’t much variety here or any unique dish that makes it worth coming here to try. As of my last visit on 3÷22÷2015 they’ve upped their prices by upgrading some items(ex. Siu mai used to be small now it’s medium, etc). If you get here at a certain time period they do this thing where all small, med, large dishes count as the same price so that’s pretty nice. Otherwise, the food here isn’t good enough for me to look forward to coming here. Service is okay, typical of any other Chinese place. Honestly, the only reason that I go here is because my dad hates waiting and there is usually no wait here and you can literally choose to sit anywhere because business isn’t exactly poppin’. If you’re looking for good dim sum food this isn’t the place, but if you are just looking to eat then it’ll fit the bill, although you won’t be impressed. At least parking is easy and wait for a table is practically non-existent.

You know when you walk into a place and wonder what the heck you’re doing there or how you even got there. Yeah, that was definitely the feeling I got when I sat down. The place was so drearily decorated with some pink and blue shower puffs hanging from the ceiling. Yeah weird. Service was so slow there that you could barely see any waiters walking around. I highly recommend NOT coming here.

Service at this place is horrendous — especially if you are not Chinese. I go to a lot of dim sum and Chinese restaurants and expect a bad service but this one is especially worse. We sat at our table for 45 mins after ordering food and nothing. Will not return

The service here is horrific. I’m Chinese and I go to a lot of dim sum places. I understand that service can be bad sometimes especially when it’s busy. My dad even used to be a waiter but the service here is abysmal. No one came to our table so we had to bring our order to the front. The table next to us was dirty and the party waiting for it just stood there waiting for someone to clean it up. I guess he must have been tired of waiting bc he started to clean the table himself! We also had to get our own water and napkins. The food was borderline cold. It was definitely not something you suffered through bad service for. The worse thing about this was that we came here after our first choice said there was a 30 minutes wait. Should have just waited.

The dim sum isn’t bad! I like that they open at 9am on Sat & Sun while most other places open at 10am. In addition, before 11am, all the dim sum plates are $ 2.80. That’s a good deal for most items except if you order small dishes, they’re normally $ 2.60 so you over pay about 20 cents(not a big deal). Parking is a lot easier then my #1 favorite dim sum place, King Wah at Westlake and there is ZERO wait. In fact, there were zero other patrons until about 10am. The food came out pretty quickly; you have order it on the form rather then picking from the cart at that hour. The food was hot and fresh and less salty then other places. Flavorful and not too oily for the most part. Compared to King Wah, which is a 10/10, I’d say they are 8⁄10. Overall: prices are cheap, food is good, parking is easy, and service is friendly and prompt. I would definitely come back if I don’t feel like waiting for King Wah.

I’m surprisingly not the biggest fan of dim sum in general but this place is alright. It’s spacious. It could probably accommodate big parties. The decorations are nice, but a lot are in many dim sum restaurants. Like many dim sum restaurants, you write your orders on the paper that they provide you, while also considering the few workers who walk around with pastries. Surprisingly, this place had the sportscasting channel on so that was a big plus, since my dad’s into sports :-3 Food-wise, its very similar to almost every dim sum restaurant I’ve been to. I fancy the shui mai a lot. Their egg custard tarts here are super oily though, just saying. They serve dimsum from 10 – 3 I believe. The parking here is pretty available, so long as you choose to come here early morning.

Was watching the Chinese channel and Crab Island had a commercial promoting their $ 2.80 dim sum special before 11AM on weekends and all day on weekdays which was a steal. So I decided to give them a try for lunch. Got their Spare Ribs, Siu Mai, Har Gow, Sticky Rice, Chicken Feet, Beef Balls, Xiao Long Bao, and the Salted Egg Scallop Fried Rice. The Spare Ribs and Sticky were alright and were nothing out of the ordinary, but the Siu Mai and Har Gows wrapping were all stuck together in the steamer, the Xiao Long Baos wrap was way to thick and lacking soup, and their fried rice was way too greasy. As we went an about an hour or more before closing in the afternoon, the waiter rushed us to order right away, right after she placed her order she went straight to counting her tip on the table next to us and during this whole period of time she did not even bother to come check on us to refill our tea or even bother asking if the food was alright. As we were halfway into eating, the waiter decides to bring up the check. Overall it was a bad experience when it came to the quality of the food and the service here. I would see this happen probably because the employees wanted to get off work as soon as possible.

Before 11AM, every plate of dim sum is $ 2.80 — its a steal. But quality-wise, Crab Island leaves some to be desired. The dumpling skins are thick and/or overcooked. Many of the little baos had ZERO filling. My favorite bao is liu sa bao(salted runny egg custard)…two major no-no’s here: basically no custard and of the remaining custard, it was solid. A lot of dessert options were also way overdone… the egg tart and the mango pudding were both super dense… not appetizing.

Random night for some dim sum. Boyfriend said we should try the new restaurant near pacific super called, crab island. Sounds fancy, looks somewhat fancy, but super far from it. I’m not one to judge before even trying the food, but since I’m waiting I might as well. Place was empty as soon as we got in. So of course we got seated right away by two of the most super friendly servers. Right away they give us some tea, and a dim sum menu without a pencil(which I had to kindly ask for.) Not the biggest deal in the world, I’m sure they weren’t expecting any customers. We ordered shrimp dumplings, salt and pepper calamari, fried egg rolls, deep fried pork dumplings, custard egg buns and deep fried stuffed mushrooms w/two sodas. The calamari came first, and it was pretty good! Then came the rest of the food. Deep fried mushrooms were served in a bowl with soupy sauce. Fried egg rolls were so hard, and by hard I mean HARD. She tried cutting them but couldn’t. She commented and said«of course they’re hard they are fresh, made to order.» First of off, I’m Filipino I know a fresh egg roll when I bite into one. Second of all, it tasted very old. We asked for the bill and seen they charged us for the tea we didn’t ask for. Definitely didn’t pay for that! Food was mediocre, service was alright, but I wouldn’t go back.

I came here for dim sum and it was mediocre, nothing stood out to me to be amazing. We had the pork bun, chicken feet, har gow, taro egg roll, daikon cake, fried bean curd. Everything was pretty standard. One thing I do remember was the spare ribs were very bland compared to what I’m used to. Service was poor in my opinion, water cup was empty most of the time… always had to ask for more. My glass needs to always be full, especially with all the soy sauce! The price was slightly higher than I had expected for the amount of food we got, we all ended up being hungry within a few hours. There are TV’s here but they all are on one side of the room, so if you are on the same side, it’s hard to see. Overall, this would not be my go to place but if you don’t want to wait too long, then this place will do.
