Texans love Whataburger with their heart, not their head. I did eat there twice the last time I was there, though. Because it’s the only thing open. First of all, the 2 lane drive thru was so stupid. Nothing is explained about how it works and the people have to come out of the restaurant, walk back in, walk back out with your change, and then give you your food and abruptly walk back in. What happens if they screw your order up? You gotta park your car and walk back inside. Silly. The service is absolutely deplorable. Every single time it took forever and the people working were straight up angry. I think they get annoyed because the menu is bigger than anything I’ve ever seen and the people ordering are always like«uhhhhhhhh urrrrrrrrr» about what they want like they’ve never been there before. Every time I went they were out of something. Fries, chicken, you name it. They’ll probably not even have it. And they’re not gonna replace what they’re out of for the same price. You’re gonna pay for the onion rings even though they didn’t have fries. You’re gonna pay for a large drink even though you asked for a small. The burger is acceptable, but it tasted different every time I went. It reminds me of Burger King but a little better. The meal costs $ 2 more than In N Out for a burger of lesser quality. Sorry Texas, but being open 24⁄7 is the only thing that made me make multiple purchases here.

2nd time in a row they screwed up our orders. We only ordered 2 combos and was missing an order of fries and we were charged for the full orders. Only reason this place deserves 2 stars is for the brand name and franchise recipe. The fact that is is whataburger. I will have to double check my orders next time.

Of course it’s Whataburger and the food is always yummy and delicious, so why 2 Stars? They implemented a 2 lane drive through a few months back and literally«trap you» by taking DOUBLE the orders they can handle and not staffing accordingly, block you in(cars side by side in the drive through with curbs on the outer lanes), and then make you wait in upwards of 20 minutes while they take their sweet time. When I asked for the manager, I got an 18 year old kid who was apologetic but obviously was never taught how to deal with customer complaints. When I asked him why it takes so long to get through the drive through now, his comment was«Ummm, sorry, we’re understaffed and it’s busy.» Keep this up horrible level of service up and you won’t be.

Yummy burgers made hot and fresh. I’m usually in a hurry so I don’t dine in. I go through the drive thru. Always get my food just as I ordered it and love the spicy ketchup.

Food is always fresh whenever I order through drive-thru. I have never had a problem getting exactly what I ordered made the right way. This is my go-to place for a quick bit to eat.

Ordered lunch here today. They gave me two chicken strips when I paid for 3. They also forgot the cookie I ordered. The strips were so overlooked that they were impossible to even eat. When I called I was put on hold for 30 minutes for someone to come on the phone with an attitude and tell me to just show up any day with my receipt. I’m glad they’ll make it right but they didn’t even ask for my name or order number. I guess anyone can just show up with a receipt and get a free meal. That shows that this probably happens often. I won’t be going back with my receipt because I don’t want to waste the gas to get horribly burnt food again.

Make sure that you check your order before you pull out of the drive thru. Everytime I leave here and get home there is always something missing to my order. It never fails. Customer service there is horrible too. Rude and impatient. I’m glad my order was small today. I would be really mad if I had ordered a big meal like always for the family and get jipped again. I pretty much spent $ 10 for a drink, 4 small nuggets and medium onion rings today. Pretty expensive dinner and I’m still hungry. Oh and to top it off I paid 38cents for dipping sauce to dip 4 nuggets. Now that is funny to me. Lol.

This is my second time to Whataburger and it’s a huge disappointment. I don’t know If it’s because of this location or anything. The employees are quite nice, they are friendly and easy to talk with. But the service would take a while. I have to wait more than 6 minutes for an order for 2. The foods are not as good as I expected. They are not very hot and quite salty. I expected much more from Whataburger.

We have been going to this location for a couple of years and they have always had good service. We have never had a bad visit, mixed up order, or anyone unfriendly. I know everyone has different experiences. However, in the fast food industry for us to go this long and have consistently great service and food quality is rare. Keep up the good work

Went for a drive-thru here at Whataburger and had the best drive-thru experience. The line moved so fast, as if we are just in the dining area. When I got in the first window, they greeted me with smile and greetings. The crew were very lively, so much fun and energetic. I ordered easily and went into the next window earlier than expected. The orders were right, I never had such great dining experience. Kudos to Whataburger.

So this is my first trip to this Whataburger since my fiasco with the one across from my house. read my other review of that one. The staff was friendly, the food was good… but it’s so slow! There was no one in front of me or behind me… and yes I ordered a burger at 9:30 in the morning. I do it all the time, and I know I have to wait. no biggie. I don’t mind at all because I know it’s still bf time. But I waited for almost 15 minutes… WTH? Unless you’re cooking a brontosaurus burger it’s not gonna take that long. The crew member was very nice and apologized for the wait. I hope this isn’t standard from the reviews I’ve read, it seems to be.

Slooooooooow. 15+ minutes for ONE Taquito?!? And the guy in front of me complained to the staff, «you guys are ALWAYS slow!» It’s faster to drive to the other WB near here

As a recent Dallas transplant and a lifelong lover of burgers I’m already a huge fan of Whataburger. Back home in south Florida all that was available were the«big 3».

Okay, so I hate to update my review just a couple of days after my initial review… But I feel like I have to. Since I wrote my review, the boyfriend and I stopped in again. We were the only car in the drive thru, so I knew if there was a wait it was going to be for OUR food– which was okay. We decided to split the chicken strip meal(I usually only eat one of them), but we each wanted our own french fries. So we ordered a #6(3-piece chicken strip meal) Whatasized with a Dr Pepper(mine), and an additional large french fries and an extra side of gravy. Get to the window and there are 4 people standing inside, all around the window. Hi. What’s up. Okay here’s my card. Standard wait time, but they hand out only the #6– no extra order of fries and gravy to be found. So I get their attention by kind of waving at the window. It opens and I let them know, «oh hey… We ordered an extra large fries and an extra side of gravy. It’s not here» and the guy just stares at me. The window closes and I see them checking the computer to see if I’m making things up(I’m not, and even the receipt taped to the bag has the correct order on it, with the incomplete order inside). A minute or so later, the window opens again and I’m handed another bag with the fries and gravy. So in the end, we did get all of our food and it was tasty– as usual. This just reinforces why I always check the food before driving away…
