Noisy, thin walls/floors, interiors need to be updated, poorly kept grounds, several broken gated entrances. As a Dallas native and experienced apartment renter, I know now I could’ve gotten more for my money elsewhere. For the amount VUE charges its residents, the flaws at this place are unacceptable. I never get emails when a package gets delivered. I’ve sent in 3 maintenance requests for water damage/possible mold in my living room with no response. The only absolute positive of this place is that it is in walking distance to everything I love on Lower Greenville. It’s a shame these are so poorly made and maintained.

One of the best apartment complex in Dallas, especially if you want to be in a hip part of the city. This is my 2nd year in Vue Greenville and I liked this apartment complex in all aspects including location, office staff and neighbourhood. At the moment I’m literally 5 minutes away to 20+ bars and restaurants and tons of grocery stores(Trader Joe, Sprouts, Walmart, Kroger etc.). Regarding the office, both Vic and Lloyd are great and always helped me. I requested maintenance only once and got my things fixed very fast. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Great property. Convenient location with new shops, places to eat and grocery stores all within walking distance. Office staff is really helpful as well as maintenance when needed. Been here for about 3 years. I can understand the review about the pool but that’s expected with any apartment that is located next to a pool area. I live nowhere near the pool so that’s not an issue for me.

**I just moved out of the Vue in August, so please don’t try to stalk me there ;) I wanted to like this apartment complex, I REALLY did. I moved in mid-November of 2011 and just moved out a couple of months ago. The Mockingbird floor plan is where I live and with the sublease deal I had of $ 850/month, it was a HELL of a deal. Tons of space and great storage — large walk-in closet, linen closet, coat closet and pantry closet; tons of cabinets in the kitchen, including a big island; and room for a full size washer & dryer. This is about where the positives end for the Vue unfortunately. When I moved in November, I felt like it was a fairly quiet complex… then came the spring and the pool got crazy. not at your typical Saturday afternoon, but at random times and days… like Wednesday at 3 am. The problem with the setup here is that almost all, if not all of the apartments overlook the pool. Due to the C shape of the buildings surrounding the pool, the noise echoes up and is unbearable. Being a person who works a normal 9 – 5 sort of job… Wednesday 3 am pool parties are not awesome. In addition, on weekends, I am pretty sure there are people at the pool who do not live at the complex. And they have tons of kids. And dogs… yes, dogs in the pool. I saw different dogs in the pool on three separate occasions. The parking garage was also an issue. My car was once towed from my own garage — from a visitor space because I did not have a permit. The only reason I parked in visitor parking was because all of the other spaces were full. The«wood» flooring is a cheap laminate and anywhere there were heavy appliances, it would buckle and the seams were split. This compex is not old enough for this to happen. The maintenance staff was nice the one time I needed something, but during my time there they were painting the exterior of the building and they painted the doors on my balcony, but did not let the paint dry so it looked terrible since they essentially painted the door shut and the paint tore up when I opened the door next. While the VUE is an inexpensive option for the area(although it borders on lower Greenville and I swear I heard gun shots one night), I’d look elsewhere before renting here.
