Food was delicious and the staff very attentive. Loved it, will definitely come back.

Solid meat and an above average salad bar. Great bang for your buck! If you’re hungry, no brainer.

Atmosphere: old, dated Brazilian churrascaria look — like it came out of 1970s Brazil, literally. There are big, old, postmodern pictures of Brazilian cities and an American city(why? Not sure — and I don’t even recognize the city) on the walls. Buffet items: feijoada was okay, beef stroganoff was good. Table accompaniments: the pão de queijo cheese bread was excellent. Polenta fries were a little too fried and caramelized banana given was just ok. Meats: The picanha was good as were the other cuts of meat. They also had chicken and pork(the garlic pork was great). But I came across some that were a little too cooked — I came around 1 and the place wasn’t packed and I had to request the meat to be more red. I think part of the problem is the lack of turn over. I also had to ask for the roasted cinnamon pineapple to come out — and it was not well seasoned as I’m accustomed to. Desserts were not very good. I tried the flan, pineapple gelatin, and papaya cream. The flan was the best of the three. Did not try the arroz con leche. I was ok with making the caramelized banana my dessert of choice. Service was great, from the beginning to the end. Tip was not included in the bill, and the cost of the lunch buffet was $ 16.99, before tax. Overall, out of the three affordable Brazilian buffets I have been to, this one is in the middle of the pack. Pretty mediocre in quality since they are maybe trying to offer too much. Out of the affordable Brazilian rodizio for lunch, this one offered the most. But for quality, I would prefer the other place by Arapaho and 75, especially since at this day and time, there’s a higher turnover of meats over there. And I even think the atmosphere is better in that one(more casual, yet more modern). Note: there’s a sign saying there’s a café and market but it seems to be under a perpetual state of construction and not even stocked. I don’t know if they ever plan to really have a café and market since I know this place has been open already for several months. I guess that’s to be seen with more time.

We’ve seen Villa’s Grill on recent trips to Penzey’s and had mentally bookmarked it as a place we wanted to try. And, as often happens, we’ve gotten busy and hadn’t gotten there — until last night. We’d visited the website and there’s a widget on the site to make a reservation, so we did. Always a good idea to check on that before you go somewhere new. It’s not very eye-catching from the outside. It’s in a strip mall-type building in a retail complex. In spite of being nearly 15 minutes early, we were seated right away by the hostess. She gave a brief explanation of the concept(since we indicated that while this was our first time in that restaurant, we had been to a Brazillian Steakhouse before) and told us about the drink offerings. I opted for a traditional caipirinha and my dining companion chose the mojito version. Both were extremely tasty and were a good companion to the meal. There is a salad bar and a hot item buffet. Not huge but you’re really there for the meat, not side dishes. Everything sampled from the salad bar and hot buffet was tasty but nothing particularly stood out. My dining companion tried the tomato soup and said it was quite good. One complaint about the buffet — nothing is labeled/identified. Something we had not encountered at other places, they brought us cinnamon-sugar coated plantain and some nice polenta. The plantain was tasty but we didn’t eat much(owing more to the fact that neither of us is crazy about the taste/texture of plantain or bananas) and the polenta was quite good(even better dipped in the chimichurri sauce!) Also, we got a basket of cheese bread which was tasty but would have been better had it been warmer. Now — to the stars of the show — the meats! Garlic sirloin was wonderful! Bacon wrapped chicken was nice and juicy, very tasty. Picanha, flavorful and delicious. Sirloin(was nice and rare, which is how I like it) — there were a couple different sirloin offerings and both were outstanding. Beef sausage was tasty. And an absolutely sublime parmesan pork. We passed on the roasted chicken legs but they looked tasty. Roasted pineapple(with cinnamon and sugar) was delightful. At this point I was absolutely stuffed but my dining companion tried the flan(part of the buffet) and said it was very good although the caramel top was maybe just a bit on the burnt side(fine line when you do this type of dessert). We had dressed up and felt a little overdressed. The atmosphere is pretty casual.(Most of the men were wearing shorts and t-shirts) Staff was all very friendly and attentive. My dining companion felt that the meats came at a bit too fast pace. Time from being seated to flipping our table cards to «no more meat, thanks» was only 45 minutes. It felt a little rushed but we both agree we’d go back.

Service is Excellent!!! Very attentive without being overbearing. Meats are delicious! Loved the sirloin & Pichana. The sausage was great, perfect snap on the casing. Pork was moist, not overcooked and dry like a lot of places. Pineapple is awesome. Be prepared, the meats are salty, but we like salt Salad bar is just ok. Nice desserts — flan, Brazilian cake, jello and canned peaches. The bananas they serve to the table are sooooo yummy! Ask for more. We will definitely return.

Must have been a bad day when i went. All meats tasted the same. You should not have to chew your picanha was so bad that i only tried each cut once. I’ve been to their original location downt town irving several years ago and it was better. This is the second non major brazilian steakhouse that diaapoints. Going forward, paying a little more to go to the ones that have good quality meats.

I wanted to treat my teenage boys to a Brazilian steak house experience. I had never heard of this place but found some groupons that were just too good a deal to pass on. And so glad we went. We’ll be returning and my son said this was his new favorite restaurant. As some of the other reviews have noted the salad bar is pretty basic but if you’re going for salad then there are better places regardless. If you’re all about the meat then you will love this place because the meat was awesome. Sausage. Smoked chicken. Parmesan pork. Sirloin. Pichana. But the most amazing was the house special cut. A-mazing! They also served some cool extras like grilled sugar encrusted plantains. Corn frittata like fried things and some really unique bread. Also served some great hot sides like soup, black beans with meat, rice and the kids appreciated French fries. Service was excellent but it wasn’t crowded. We went on a Sunday at lunch.

Oh. My god. Phenomenal. The meat, the service, just phenomenal. If you’re coming for a world class salad bar you’ll be disappointed– but if you’re going to a Brazilian steakhouse for salad then you need to reevaluate your choices anyway.

So, $ 30 for dinner at an all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse is a really good deal. However, there’s a reason it’s only $ 30… 1) Salad bar doesn’t have nearly the quality or quantity of other Brazilian steakhouses. 2) No bread. Yes, I know there’s a photo of some great cheese bread among the photos on this Unilocal page, but they no longer serve that apparently. Unacceptable for a carbaholic like myself. 3) Service is slooooow. The meats trickled out. Now, we were there on a weekday, so perhaps they have more staff working on weekends. In addition to the slow presentation of meat skewers(which was a general issue affecting all staff), our particular waiter repeatedly forgot requests — once a request for more bananas, and another time a request for a particular cut of meat(which we only requested when he asked if we had any special requests). Given that there were only about five tables eating at that time, it’s not a good sign that your waiter is forgetting requests on a slow night. I’d hate to see what happens on a busy night. 4) The«unlimited dessert buffet» that is featured in their marketing/advertising is the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Red jello(is this preschool??), lifeless chocolate cake that looked so bland I got a piece and then didn’t even have the heart to try it, a bowl of from-the-can peach halves, and flan. Obviously, the best option there is the flan… so I tried it… errrr, not the best. Super dense/thick(not that delightful melt-in-your-mouth silky goodness that flan should be) and rather bland. So, don’t get excited about the fact that this place has dessert included, which most Brazilian steakhouses don’t. Your calories are not well spent on these desserts. In fact, I noticed that one family(celebrating a birthday) brought in their own cake, and that’s a smart option if you’re a dessert fan(especially since the restaurant could hardly care, given that they’re not making money off their own deserts per se). A few really neat things: 1) They had a buffet of hot sides, which I hadn’t seen at a steakhouse like this before. I skipped the rice and mashed potatoes(looked boring/tasteless). The sweet potato hash browns were soggy. The black beans with meat were great, but the meat was dry — eat the beans but avoid the meat in them. Now, the butter-soaked sauteed veggies were damn delicious. I had two servings of those. 2) Great drinks. My husband had the capirinha, which was tasty, and I had the red wine capirinha, which was like lime-flavored sangria and quite nice. The glasses were 90% ice by volume, but each drink was only $ 8, so I’ll cut them some slack there since exotic cocktails at any other Brazilian steakhouse are probably twice that. 3) Grilled pineapple with cinnamon and sugar?! I could barely taste the cinnamon/sugar, but the concept was exciting anyway. The meat was good… lamb loin only showed up once, and it was overcooked and dry, which made me sad, but the«house special» was divine — at least, if you got an early slicing of it. My husband said that these places tend to re-roast the same meat skewers so that they get that nice crust on them over and over again, but of course the thinner the meat skewer got, the more well-done it became. So, go for the really fat meat skewers, if you see them. Also, their sausage tastes exactly like BBQ sausage, which was a little weird but hey, that’s tasty too. Overall, would I go back? Maybe… but only with another buy-one-get-one-half-off coupon like the one we used. Otherwise, I’d honestly rather spend the money to go to one of the nicer Brazilian steakhouses, since I care as much about the sides as about the meat, and the sides here really faltered(plus, again, wtf is up with no bread). My husband, on the other hand, would go back here in a heartbeat, because he ONLY cares about the meat, and he felt that it was about the same quality as any other Brazilian steakhouse. Oh, and it might be worth noting too that the ambiance here was quite lacking. Bright-as-day lighting, really odd massive blown-up photos of Dallas or general Texas scenes all over the walls, generic tablecloths and stackable chairs, etc… So, make your decision accordingly: All about that meat, ’bout that meat, no sides? This is a very good option. Meat is good but sides are essential? Try a nicer Brazilian steakhouse. Want a nice, luxurious ambiance? Try a nicer Brazilian steakhouse.

This is the best place. Has all of the meats of the other Brazilian steakhouses(and I thought theirs were above average in flavor and ability to match the doneness I requested, which was med. rare), but is significantly cheaper at $ 30 per person for dinner. It is a bit less«fancy pants» in terms of décor, but feels more authentic for that. There was at least one table actually speaking Portugese. You don’t see that at the big chains. Their sugary fried banana things were amazing and they brought out piping hot plates of them as soon as we finished ours. Drinks were great — the classic caipirinha and red wine caipirinha(think sangria plus margarita plus mojito plus better) were delicious. Salad bar is simpler than at the big chains, but they have several side dishes that you don’t find at the big boys that were great. We got great service. We were closing the place down and on request they cooked up some more bacon wrapped filets just for me. Summary: this place is the best, they are local, they are more authentic, they are a better value, they are delicious, they have amazing drinks. YOUWANTTOGOTOHERE.

Father’s Day was upon us, and the FIL and I like a good Brazilian steakhouse. The Villas in the Ar Dub closed quite awhile ago, so it wasn’t as convenient. Made the trek though and mini-me and myself were recognized heh. Slow service in a couple parts there, but the food is good and affordable. Love their linquica… picanha, and the garlic steak was nice and tender as well. Good chimichurri as well.

Honestly was skeptical because of the location but hubby was craving Brazilian churrasco for his bday and this place had a Groupon so we bought it. Service was quick, immediately seated and brought water. My wine was waiting when I got back from the salad bar, meat selections were quick to follow and everything was excellent! Since we were celebrating his bday they gave him a complementary slice of cake… despite being super full we ate that too… also very good. Only thing I’d suggest would be on the ambiance… I wish the lights had been a little dimmer. It seemed a little to brightly lit for a «fine dining experience» overall it was great, excellent deal and we’d definitely go back.

Fans of Texas de Brazil, Fogo de Chao, etc will be pleasantly surprised by this unknown Brazilian steakhouse. It may be located in a strip mall on Preston, but Villa’s deserves some recognition. I am a huge Fogo fan and though Villa’s has 3 – 4 fewer meat choices, its $ 29.99 price tag for dinner is seriously tough to beat. All of the meat is seasoned perfectly. Everything tastes great. The fact they offer fresh squeezed juices of all varieties is also a huge plus. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough.

We had previously gone to the big chain Brazilian steakhouses but decided to try Villa this time. We could not have been happier! The service was awesome. Reminiscent of good old fashioned South American service(my wife is from South America), all the staff seemed to take a lot of pride in what they do. They made our visit excellent. The food was great! Exactly what you are wanting from a Brazilian steakhouse. Even brought me a dessert and coffee because we were there for my birthday. Go there.

This chain of restaurants(Villa) started out at a single location in Irving and my family and I have been following them throughout the years trying out each location. I have to say that this new location is by far the BEST location out of the Irving, Arlington and Dallas Villa restaurants. They do have a groupon deal occasionally that can be used at any of the locations. The deal that I used on this visit was $ 90 for 4 for dinner, but there is another option for 2 people for lunch so keep an eye out for their groupon! When you first enter the restaurant you wait to be seated. After the server takes your drink order you are free to attack the salad/sides/dessert bar. Then when you return with your plate of food make sure to flip your dinner car to green so that the meat carvers will start coming to your table! Drinks: my family and I didn’t have any alcoholic drinks so can’t say anything about that but we did order iced tea and one of their Brazilian sodas«Guarana.» The owner first introduced this Brazilian soda to us a couple years ago and I haven’t stopped drinking it since! It taste like a fruity ginger ale/apple cider in my opinion and it’s great for children or if you’re looking for a fun soda. They sell it per can(so no free refills for this particular soda). Salad/Sides Bar: Their self-serve portion of the dinner is a salad/sides bar. They offer a variety of sides as well as a couple of salad options. The servers bring out the Pao de Queijo(Brazilian Cheese Bread), fried bananas and Yucca fries out to your table(they aren’t at the buffet); but they are unlimited! The cheese bread is some of the best i’ve had, not too cheesy or oily and soft and chewy like mochi, I probably ate a full basket myself… MEAT: They serve a variety of meats: bacon wrapped filet mignon and chicken, roasted chicken, garlic beef, goat, lamb, steak, and their house special Picanha. Stand outs to me where the garlic beef and Picanha, both were medium rare and very flavor full. Tip: I always ask for two slices of Picanha cause it’s my absolute favorite ;) They also serve the pineapple covered in cinnamon at the end of your meals. Dessert: The dessert is offered as part of the self-serve buffet portion with 4 options: house made flan, pound cake, jello and some sort of pudding. Honestly all you really need from the dessert selection is their flan, it is AMAZING. The texture is very smooth and the caramel is just the right amount of sweetness, and did I mention it’s part of the BUFFET? That means all you can eat flan! Service: Excellent, the servers changed out plates often and the manager came to check on us through out the meal to make sure we were enjoying everything. The meat carvers also came at a great pace, not too fast and not too slow. Price: this place is definitely pricey so expect to drop some money when you come by. The bill came out $ 140 plus our drinks so it was around $ 190(they added the gratuity already). But it was money well spent!

Staff is very efficient and helpful. And the place is clean and relaxing. Waiters are always willing to help and explain and answer Andy questions you can have. The salad buffet was fresh and everything looked good. i did like the fact that they had different cheeses and hot dishes didn’t look like they had been sitting there for a long time. As for the deep fried potatoes were good and the bread was very yummy. And the meat selection was good at least most of the meat was good cuts of meat with just enough amount of fat. The. Garlic steak was good just over cooked(and I am sure I could have asked for a med rare cook) but the grilled pineapple and the banana were the best. Would have like to seen more selection of meat for lunch and for the price but it was ok.

By far one of the best Brazilian Steakhouses in the Dallas metroplex. Food was superb, from the salad bar to the soups to the desserts. The staff was more than courteous from the time we walked in tip we left. My favorite is the real fruit juice drinks. We will definitely be frequenting here!

New Brazilian steakhouse! First, the location is great: SE corner of Preston and 635, same street mall as India Palace. That spot was a Mexican restaurant previously. After a loong time remodeling, they finally opened last December. I was going back and forth to check on it because the reviews of their other places are great. Couldn’t wait to try! And so I did. I invited a few friends to go on a Sunday and we all loved it! Here is the take: It is a less expensive(and less fancy in all aspects) Brazilian steakhouse. It is +big+ and have at least one separate room for private parties. There is a bar and they make caipirinhas(the Brazilian national drink) and of course sell other beverages. They also have guarana, the Brazilian favorite soda. As I am the first to review I need to talk about the décor so you will know what to expect before inviting that fancy pants friend or a date. The chairs are like those used in conference rooms. And they have a larger than life chandelier. That’s all on the subject. Nooow on the yummy part. The salad bar is really good. Very nicely set, nice variety of salads and dressings. Wait… the dressings are actually outstanding! Chimichurri, another one with jalapenos is hot and awesome. There are more I didn’t try. On the table they bring baked bananas(sooo good!), cheese bread and fried polenta. I could live eating just that. Oh, there are some hot dishes like black beans stew, rice, lasagna and so on. Super yummy! But hey there is more! The meat cuts are delicious and have everything from the favorite picanha to chicken, pork. all very well seasoned. Picanha is a must in all its forms: regular, spicy, garlic or one that has black peppers. Also get the grilled pineapple with cinnamon and sugar(no, it is not a dessert, people! It helps with your digestion. You will need it, after all this food, trust me). And yes, there are some real desserts included like the delicious condensed milk flan and something else. I know what it is, of course, but just skip it. Meh. Service was the most pleasant surprise. From the manager to the servers, everybody is super nice and attentive. Like they really pay attention to the customers. Now, just go there. About $ 17 for lunch during the week, little more on weekends but at night is about $ 30 for while. Just one bad note: they charge 18% tip automatically on your bill. It is a reprehensible thing to do(I always give 20% anyway). Just hope they keep up with good food and service!
