I had been by a few times in the last few months with the same thing every time, however I was still pleasantly shocked and surprised when the proprietor looked at me as I came in today, said my last name and said what I will be bringing in before I even told her anything. Major points for paying attention and caring! And I’ve always been happy with the job done and they will go out of their way to make it in the time you need it. Highly recommended.

I have visited this place several times in the past and was quite concerned during every visit about the customer service I experienced. It was disappointing as it seemed to be a great place in the hood, but happily I discovered a gem just around the corner!

The only cleaner for busy people! I actually feel guilty for not reviewing earlier. I am continually impressed by the customer service. When I have a ton of clothes they will help me carry them to my car. Sometimes they have my clothes ready on the hanger before I even pull up. The quality is amazing and I love how they treat my clothes. I can’t see myself ever using another cleaner!

We have been using Uptown Cleans in Lakewood for at least 15 years. My husband is very picky about his clothing, and the owners, who are lovely, friendly people, always deliver to his satisfaction. I never worry about broken buttons. The owners will let you know ahead of time if a stain is likely to come out or not. They do minor repairs and more substantial tailoring if you need it.

Best dry cleaner I’ve ever had! The owners are incredibly honest and will tell you when they can or cannot do something. Everything comes back impeccably clean and pressed. And I’ve never had a mess-​up with my clothes. Best cleaners in Lakewood!

The location of the store is why I started coming here 15 years ago, but the quality, dependability and friendliness of the staff are why I have never gone elsewhere. Tiffany and Troy are the owners and they always greet you by name and your clothes are always perfect. Troy’s father is a great tailor if you need alterations. Another great little neighborhood place that makes Lakewood the best place to live in Dallas!

I have been going to this place for nearly 20 years. I have taken around 8 garments per week to them. Not one, NOT ONE time have they lost anything. NOTHING has ever been damaged. The service is friendly, and they usually remember your name after a time or two in their store. They offer alteration services (and do a good job with them). They are a tiny bit expensive. But, believe me, you’re getting what you pay for. Cheap dry cleaners can’t compare and will cost you more in the long run. Dry cleaners don’t come better than Uptown!

I switched over to Uptown Cleaners about 2 years ago after several bad experiences at another cleaner. I couldn’t be happier with this place. They are fast and friendly — I’ve never had any issues whatsoever over the past two years.
