We stopped in a morning before our massage at Green Lotus Spa. My husband was starving and wanted to eat before. We didn’t have enough time for anything else so he decided on cupcakes for breakfast. The place is small. They offer certain cupcakes on certain days of the week. He got a big rollo cupcake and I got a small red velvet cupcake. Soo good. It tasted just like the cake. The frosting tasted the way it should on a red velvet cake and not the cream cheese frosting. I even liked the rollo cupcake. Delicious!

My kids and I love this place! The cupcakes are all really good and sweet! The cake is nice and moist and the icing sooo good! We love the Bananarama with the cream cheese frosting, Carrot Cake, Cookie Dough, Slap yo mama with all the chocolate and the Lemon one… forgot the name but it has a sweet and tangy flavor!

These are my FAV. They’re 100% the best cupcakes in DFW. If you’re trying to decide between Sprinkles and Trailercakes, choose Trailercakes.

Trailercakes has been the guest of honor at virtually every birthday I’ve celebrated since it opened! From dozens of cupcakes all with delicious icings, to the best cake I have ever had, with a picture of my cat on it that I absolutely had to cut off and save! The strawberry icing is second to none and is fantastic with the moist chocolate cake.

Well this will be short! Wife wanted cupcakes, came here with her bought a dozen of random cupcakes. I’m not a fan of cupcakes like her so I didn’t try it but also another reason is I actually lost my appetite when I saw a ROACH that ran across my shoes!!! That is a NONO! Crumbs on the floor attracts those nasty things!

My favorite place to grab tiny cupcakes for any occasion. Girls night, birthdays and sweet treats. Some of my favorites are: Cookie Monster, PB&J, red velvet, mint & chocolate chocolate. Some of the best cupcakes in Dallas! Located right on Knox, makes it easy to access. They’ve also got a sweet rewards program that sends you coupons and freebies!

I don’t trust any other cupcake. Seriously so dense and moist and the people couldn’t be friendlier! Even their Instagram is precious

To be fair it was end of the night one hour til close, but the first mini cupcake(strawberry) tasted old. However the red velvet mini was good and seemed fresher. It’s a convenient location so there’s that. I do like the size of the mini cupcakes 1 is perfect for a quick sugar fix.

I am the type of girl that really likes cupcakes and sure, a lot of people like cupcakes but when i say that I consider myself an unofficial cupcake connoisseur… this place left me wanting to search for something more. Now, I’m not saying these cupcakes are bad and you should go somewhere else, but in all honesty… I can’t justify spending $ 2 on their mini cupcakes when I can go to another bakery and purchase a much larger cupcake(triple in size?) that tastes a lot better. Perhaps I got the wrong flavors? What I ended up getting were 2 mini cupcakes, one in the red velvet with cream cheese frosting and the other was their classic trailercake cupcake. The red velvet cake was good, it wasn’t the best one I’ve ever tasted and for $ 2 I got a bite sized portion of a cupcake. Like I said, overpriced for what it is. The trailercake cupcake… I looked hard for a description of what it actually was and despite not finding one, I can tell you the flavor is sugar. It was SO sweet, a little artificial tasting but perhaps that had to do with all the multiple colors the cupcake had. Overall, the cupcakes are good, not the best but if you need to get a quick sugar craving fix this place would do the job. I do think they’re overpriced compared to Sprinkles and Society Bakery.

I have literally never, in my life, tasted such delicious cupcakes! I have not run into one flavor that i do not absolutely dream about, and i have tried them ALL! Seriously y’all, these cupcakes are incredibly moist and the frosting(s) are out of this world! I honestly cannot settle on my favorite flavor, guess I’ll need to go back and get more! :) GOTHEREIMMEDIATELY!

These are the BEST cupcakes in Dallas! Far better than Sprinkles or any other cupcakery, so good I make the trek from Allen to Dallas just for these! No matter where I go, whenever I bring these tasty treats, people’s eyes light up and cameras come out! Lol. Keep up the great work Trailercakes, you’ve got a customer for life!

Blegh. I was very disappointed in these cupcakes. They were very dry and had way too much icing on them. They were very cute, but the taste was not good at all. They tasted like boxed cake, which is the worst thing a bakery can do. Won’t go back.

In my effort to find the best Red Velvet cupcake, I tried one from Smallcakes & one from Trailercakes. Smallcakes: moist, dark red, great flavor, great frosting. Trailercakes: dry, dense, lighter red, less flavorful, great frosting.

My company had Trailercakes for us at the company event. I got to taste their signature Trailer cupcake. It was green and psychedelic like Austin Powers! haha it was fun eating it! each layer had a different color. Frosting was on point! I would definitely stop by to try other cupcakes if I find them at Klyde Warren Park

What a wonderful sweet surprise — their mini cupcakes display loudly called out to me — the icing is what I was most impressed with — very distinct tastes to the variety of cakes — red velvet and cookie monster being my favorites — reasonably priced — unfortunately 4 out of 5 stars, due to their banana cupcake was dry — still, I will definitely be back many times over!

I’m not sure if the name trailercakes really fits this place, since it really doesn’t have to do anything with a trailer and their specialties is CUPcakes — mini ones in fact, but who knows, maybe the do have a trailer. The theme of this place illustrates the whole 1960’s vibe, both their decoration and packaging. I got 4 different minis — banana pie, moon pie, chocolate, and vanilla with sprinkles. I have to say that all 4 cupcakes had in common is their yummy frosting. Each cupcake had had it’s own type, so expect some with cream cheese and some buttercream. On one side of the case, they have their daily cupcakes, and on the other, their seasonal. The cupcake itself could have been more moist. It is also extremely sweet for my liking so I ended up scrapping some of the frosting off to evenly have a cake to frosting ratio. FYI — they are a bit on the pricey side but if you don’t like it, you only have to eat a couple bites. Lastly, with the Dallas heat, don’t leave them in your car for too long or the frosting starts to melt! It would be cool if their containers had separate holders for each cupcake as mine sort of mushed together.

I was slightly hesitant to come here. I wasn’t really sure what I would be walking into. I expected it to be really difficult to get in and out of and also pricey, but it was exactly the opposite. There are lots of parking spots available in the parking lot. You may not get one right in front of their door, but if you’re going to be eating cupcakes, you might as well burn a few calories before you do so. The inside is super tiny; probably enough room for 3 people to stand inside comfortably without smelling each other’s hair gel. The assortment of sizes and variety of flavors was impressive. I definitely saw a few different ones I would like to go back and try. For my first time, I got two small cupcakes. One was a pb&j cupcake and while it was good, it lacked the jelly aspect. It was supposed to be stuffed, but I found just a tiny bit of jelly in the center. Just enough to make me upset and want to go pull jelly out of my fridge and do it the right way. The other was a plain vanilla and I gave it to my dog. He seemed to like it. He even ate the box they came in while I wasn’t looking.

I came here last night to get cupcakes as a surprise for my boyfriend. Upon walking in the store is small but adequate. The girl working behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. They have a menu of what cupcakes are available on specific days. I chose to get the Happydays(rainbow sprinkles), Cookie Monster(oreo), Fonzie(vanilla), and the SlapYoMomma(Chocolate). The large cupcakes are $ 3.25 and they’re a very good size. My boyfriend tried each one when I got home and said they were amazing. I unfortunately cant eat the cake part due to a food allergy but I was able to try the frosting(my favorite part anyway). The frosting on all(couldnt try the oreo) was sooo good! Very creamy and not overly sweet to where you’ll get sick eating one. I would definitely recommend coming here for specialty cupcakes for an event or as a gift.

–Mini cupcake is $ 1.75 –Biggie cupcake is $ 3.50 –Cake pops $ 2 –Shirts and apparel is $ 20 –The cookie monster is super sweet with a marshmallow center and cookie crust bottom. I’m impressed by how moist the cupcakes were. –The red velvet had cream cheese frosting that’s practically the same height as the mini cupcake. Not as sweet as the cookie monster but that’s a good thing. I recommend the red velvet.
