Great food, great prices, bring your own alcohol. Glad this is in our neighborhood! Get there early to try and miss the rush. Kid friendly, great pizza.

One of my favorite pizza places in the city. The pizza is authentic and legit. I always order for pickup though because the restaurant is really small and always packed. So if you decide to find in, make sure you have some time.

You will notice that most of the negative reviews for this place is regarding service. The service here is not horrible at all. THEYAREJUSTSLAMMED. It does really suck that they don’t offer delivery. It’s also not unusual for them to ignore phone calls for pick up orders during busy dinner hours because I’m sure they’re jam-packed. This makes me frustrated at times and makes me want to leave 1 star BUT you need to remember that this is a casual pizza/pasta joint. People don’t research on Unilocal for service when it comes to a neighborhood pizza & pasta place. Heck no. Unilocalers just want to know if it’s good! So I’m giving 5 stars because the food is amazing and worth every penny!!! I ALWAYS crave and order my favorite Linguini Primavera with Shrimp. Must add a side salad for just a $ 1.50 because they have the BEST house dressing! Crab claws are bomb, just wished they had more meat on it but we usually always get it! The pizza is out of this world. What more can I say. Who really cares about someone’s one time«worst experience» here anyways? It doesn’t take away from the fact that the food is phenomenal. I just wished they offered delivery and either expanded or opened another restaurant!

It’s good to see when my family brings me a spaghetti plate. The food isn’t amazing but it’s really good for being a neighborhood joint.

There is a reason for the line/wait on any night… the food is excellent. I drive 20 miles to eat here. BYOB and the 20 minute wait is worth it! Prices are cheap too!

Price is why I’m giving 4 stars, for taste probably more like 3 stars. We get specialty large pizza to go here with 2 dinner salads and price is under $ 18. Can’t beat that for a cheap date night at home. Place is always packed on the weekends!

You can’t go wrong with Tony’s! You get free garlic bread rolls with your order. Large portions for sharing.

The food is delicious there is no doubt about that… but the service is beyond horrible! Its just ridiculous every time I come. Usually the kids from the local Highschool are working and its fine but when they are not its just bad.

I’m eating leftovers of spaghetti and garlic knots. Even eating it it(snagging it from my sin, when I didn’t even go to begin with) it was THE best spaghetti I ever had, even at the risk of my wife’s homemade spaghetti I can say that that is the best I’ve ever had I only give them four out of five because I’m still searching for what a five would be like. I’ll get back to you

Absolutely one of the worst experiences at a restaurant I have had. My wife and I waited an hour to be seated. It was Friday night, so I understand some delay, but an hour is excessive. When we were seated, a young man took our order. My wife ordered cannelloni and had to repeat it several times and show him what it was on the menu. After seeing several patrons seated after us receive their meals, we flagged down another waitress to ask about our order. We were told our waiter would be over shortly. He had not come to our table since we placed our order. He finally came over and asked if my wife ordered a cannoli, which was the only humorous thing about this fiasco. I asked the waiter if he ever turned in our order and he said he had not, but they would take most of it off the bill. I told him we were leaving, because we waited almost two hours for dinner. They should have sent a manager, but they sent this kid, who was obviously not a waiter, to deal with the situation My wife asked to speak to the manager. We explained we had waited a long time only to find out our order was never placed. He never responded or offered to do anything to make it right. The hag that walks around with a scowl told my wife«I know» when my wife said she was angry. This whole thing is sad, because they have decent food. We will not be going back.

There’s a reason this place stays soo crowded It’s Ridiculous how delicious the food is here. We ordered the Cannelloni with 2 meat balls as an app.(this could have been dinner it was so filling and tasty with the bread they bring out). we shared a side salad. He ordered a Med specialty pizza(which he added and subtracted a few items with no problem) I got the Veal Dama Bianca I can’t put into words how great the Veal dish was(the sauce was so rich and flavorful) The pizza was also amazing. Did I mention this place is BYOB !!! so we brought a bottle of Syrah from Sun Fresh Market next door… Yes Yes Yes!!! This place is truly perfect. Oh and our bill will all of that was only $ 38.21…

Yum Yum Yummy! This place fills up quick and with one bite you quickly understand why. Its BYOB so be sure to bring a bottle or two with you. The Baked Cannelloni was amazing, the al dente pasta and its filling was ooey gooey delicious. The side of meatballs that tagged along for the ride was well worth the $ 2 charge. Speaking of $ 2, this place is super cheap and their pizza is just as good as the rest of the menu. … So do yourself a favor get their early, bring your appetite, a bottle of wine, and experience a little bit of Italy in your own Lake Highlands community.

We have been dying to try this little spot for some time now, and finally was able to meet a friend there for lunch. This is a small, local restaurant in a strip mall off of Northwest Highway. We were thrilled to learn that their lunch specials even apply on the weekends. My hubby ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza and I ordered the stromboli. The stromboli came with a side salad and both meals came with fresh bread and sweet or unsweetened tea. I think I have been spoiled by Itailian restaurants and local pizza joints because I favored Siciliano’s A Taste of Italy’s garlic knots to these. And the pizza slices at Marinara’s Pizza in Plano were more flavorful than Tony’s. While the food was not bad, it just couldn’t quite compare to some of the other places we more frequently dine. BUT. my hubby and I did dine for less than $ 10 on a Saturday. #Winning

This review is a culmination of the past few visits. We’ve visited on the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving to save cooking aside from Turkey stuff. We’ve slid in late on Saturday night and even in the early afternoon. Usually there is a wait of no more than 10 minutes on any of our visits. The staff are usually rushing around but when we sit down, they are attentive, answer questions, and know the menu. A great sign of a family owned and run restaurant. PRO: Menu is JUST enough. Not overwhelming, but enough offerings to please those in an Italian mood. Various items we’ve ordered have been very tasty with no issues. Recommend upgrading your entrée with the Pink Vodka sauce. Yum! Alfredo Sauce is a must for dipping the bread in. It’s the best Pizzas have always tasted great with fresh toppings. Love the cheese flavor. CON: Dining area needs to be bigger. Tend to tun out of rolls prior to closing… at least my experience. Bottom Line: If you’re craving some good Italian food, Tony’s does it right. Pizzas are tasty and don’t lack cheese on them. Menu doesn’t overwhelm and staff are always attentive. I’ll be back. over and over!

Good parmesan pretzel knots! Small place well filled! Everything smells awesome. Good atmosphere and great food at a steal for the price. Seems like you have to wait a while(30 min). Don’t get discouraged and give into the subway next door. The food is well worth it. Got the eggplant parm and beef cannelloni!

Tony’s still has a decent lunch special but my last visit included a shocking amount of dirt and grime. Everywhere we looked there was something truly gross. I’m not talking about a little dust on the chandelier, I’m talking grime that has taken months to settle in. From the unwashed, sticky table(that was wet, which means it had been wiped with a dirty rag) and everything on top of it(salt, pepper and parmesan cheese shakers that were sticky and splattered with dried tomato sauce) to the floors to the truly disgusting bathroom. Even our plates and silverware were dirty and we had to ask for new ones. If the front of the house looked that dirty, I can only imagine what the kitchen looked like. I won’t be coming back to Tony’s. A $ 5 lunch just isn’t worth the risk.

Really love this place and the I think the family that owns it are fantastic. You can’t go wrong with their terrific pizzas and BYOB! BYOB is always a bonus. Honestly if you want the best New York style pizza in Lake highlands… its Tony’s. Totally Love the pepperoni and meatball pizza. Beyond the food it’s the family that owns the place that takes it to the next level. The mom Dia is super sweet and is always smiling. They are all super friendly know you by your name and treat you like a good friend. With a place like Tony’s just around the corner I never call Pizza Hut or dominoes chains ever.

More bang for your buck than just about any other place in Dallas. The restaurant has a local, «been around here awhile» vibe and great lunch specials. Good flavor on all of the dishes I’ve tried. For lunch, you can get hot bread and marinara, iced tea, and two huge pieces of pizza for $ 3.95. What?! Yeah, read that again. Give Tony’s a try. My 4 stars takes into account food taste/quality and price/value.

This is a wonderful family owned business… it’s hard to say no to their homemade garlic bread, and i love their Alfredo sauce… pizza is great… ask them about an off menu item called the Ata salad… the house dressing is very unique! BYOB
