So I have love hate relationship with this place… on a very good day the chicken is fresh light breaded with this perfect crispy batter the best chicken stips! Then you have to get the sauces is love the red sauce and the sweet and spicy sauce. .the rice is ok so i normally substitute for fries. I love the egg rolls to. they also have really good Chinese food to… and they also have cheap daily deals. ontop of their cheap prices…
Now sometimes when i do go the checken has been fried in old grease… or super duper greasy. like every bite was full of grease… yuck
So the only problem I have with them is being inconsistent..

Five stars is mainly for the value, especially the daily specials. The tenders and rice Monday special is only $ 3.99. Cant beat that price anywhere for a fast food meal. The rice is just okay – a little bland for my tastes. The chicken tenders are very good. It’s the flavorful batter that makes them great.
My coworkers and I placed 12 separate orders over the phone and the girl who took the order got everything right. She was very well organized and even wrote everyone’s name on each order and rang them up separately. Great customer service!

Chicken fingers & fortune cookies. That’s all you really need to know.
To be honest, I’m not sure if it’s really chicken they’re serving… but it’s one of those things where I’d rather not know. What I do know is that IT’S SO DELICIOUSLY GOOD that I don’t even care what it is! I’ve been eating it for years — started out at the location off of Webb Chapel, then the location in Irving (not sure if it’s still open), and now this is my go-​to location.
It’s in a convenient area for me, as I can pop into Fiesta and grab a case of «Big Peach» (if you don’t know, you better ask somebody!) or this can serve as my appetizer before doing some damage at «Bone Daddy’s» down the street.
One last thing: I’m not sure if they’re still around, but a few years ago there were some impostors opening up under the name of «Chicken N Rice» and it was absolutely terrible. The impostor in The Colony still gives me nightmares! Please ensure you go to «THE ORIGINAL Chicken N Rice.» Enjoy!

The food is good. The service is eh. But I have to give this place 5 stars because it’s a memory thing for me. Where else can you get 8 delicious chicken fingers with a side order of fried rice for $ 5.35 on a Wednesday.
Chicken is a not your ordinary chicken fingers. They are crispy delicious tempura battered chicken. Get the sweet and hot sauce. I promise you can’t go wrong with that. They offer other items on the menu, but the chicken and rice is where it’s at. This place is not on the best part of town but worth the drive.
