I love this place! I’ve been a member since opening day. Since then, I’ve had many opportunities try to lure me away. Nothing can compare to the exceptional service, professional grooming (FOR MEN) and unique atmosphere. I have had the opportunity to experience all of the services provided and all are exceptional. I fully recommend The Gents Place.

Friendly staff, comfortable environment, and 5 star treatment makes this place my new go-​to.

I love this place. The concierge staff is very helpful with the various products and always cheerful. Joe is a master with the shoes. Kayla is the best stylist I’ve ever had. This place is my oasis after a tough week. Strongly recommend giving this place a try.

Great Service! I’m not normally a fan of men’s Salon type places, but they did a fantastic job. not only did they treat me like I was a regular client, but the overall experience was very enjoyable.

A true joy — great attitude, great haircut — top notch. It’s 2.5x more than what I was paying previously, and I consider it a bargain at that. Kayla is wonderful, btw.

First class operation. Great stylists and haircuts (most importantly). Comfortable place (drinks included, TVs everywhere). Online scheduling. Onsite shoe shines. The only downsides I see are premium pricing (worth it IMO) and email sales pitches are a little too frequent (that’s what email filters are for right?). I’m a fan!

After receiving a gift certificate for The Gents Place — I was thrilled to have a professional shave and a Mani-​Pedi — the service was great and I felt very pampered in a Masculine way and setting… It was delightful and a great way to treat yourself !!! Very much enjoy having a men’s only salon catering to my specific needs. The staff, services and products are all terrific and make the experience one I look forward to every several weeks.

Ben Davis and his team have absolutely perfected men’s grooming. I have been a member for about 2 years now and enjoy my visits as much as I enjoyed my first one. I go every 3 weeks and it feels like a mini vacation. Get off work; go to Gent’s; drink a scotch; get pampered; go home feeling totally rejuvenated.

They do it all at the Gents Place and do it well. It’s a nice place to escape to for all types of men’s grooming.

Love this place! Friendly staff. I get to sip a bourbon while I wait for my appointment. Every now and then I’ll get a massage before my haircut. I have nothing but good things to say.

First time visiting the Preston Hollow location. I treated myself to a massage and foot repair. The massage was soooo relaxing and amazing. Jenny was very thorough and listened to the needs I had concerning the pressure to my back and neck. A. J took care of my foot repair and was extremely nice. She is definitely a professional at what she does. Everyone there was very welcoming. Can’t wait to go back.

I like the Gents Place. The owner is very approachable and friendly. They work hard to keep your business. The haircut prices are high but you also get a free drink or two while you wait so you have to factor that in too.
Inside is a classy place. I’ve only been there for back massages and they do a good job. This is a good place to hangout and chill. I’ve been impressed during the couple of times I’ve been.

The Gents Place is the finest men’s grooming establishment I’ve ever had a chance to visit. Most obvious aspects about this establishment have been detailed by other reviewers, but I was mostly impressed by the well planned and positioned lighting. Good lighting is necessary for a good haircut, but it goes further than that.
It takes a keen lighting designer to create an ambiance yielding a combination of intimacy, excitement, and crisp professionalism. Throughout this business you experience mixed technologies of lighting (incandescent, xenon, and others) in a consistent panorama. The lighting shows off their freshly polished leather furniture, the immaculate floors and walls, and plush stylist workstations.
A lot of bright ideas went into creating The Gents Place. Most important to customers (and most stylists would agree) is that the workstation areas are brightly lit, but that the light stays in the workstation areas and doesn’t spill over into nearby areas. If you’re taking the time and effort to get a great haircut, you’ll know you got the best, because you’ll be able to see it for yourself.

This is an indulgent getaway for men– so much more than just a hair cut, or manicure shop. The Gents Place is a full mind and body experience, where a man can be pampered like a man should be pampered. The moment you walk in you will see and feel the difference.
When you first walk into the establishment, the busy world is closed out behind you. Instantly, you’re relaxed, just by walking through the doorway – Aaah, calm lighting and normal smell. No smelly perms or acrylic nails here. Just take in the aroma of natural woods and freshly polished leather coming from the shoe shine area.
You’ll be offered a drink, if you like, while you decide on your services for the day. Enjoy a cigar on their patio too, if you’re in the mood. From head to (massaged) toes, The Gents Place knows how to pamper a man. This was great, relaxing fun.

I have never been jealous of men, but I am now because The Gents Place is fabulous!
The Gents place is a luxurious men’s grooming club. Services include cut and style; shampooing and conditioning; scalp massage; facial; neckline and hairline trims; ear, nose, and brow waxing; massages; hand and foot repairs {manis and pedis in «lady speak”}; and much more.
I have to mention the TV screens (on sports channels, of course) at every grooming station, and the full service bar that is complimentary to gents as they have services done. There is even a small patio in front of The Gents Place for guests to unwind even more. How perfect is all of this!
Shout out to Kajuan, a grooming specialist at The Gents Place. I will definitely be sending my husband to her soon for some «upkeep.»
Oh, icing on the cake, prices are very reasonable. Memberships make it even more reasonable.
Excellent customer service is obviously part of the package here. Everyone working here is very polite and helpful.
Perfect gift for that special man in your life. Just drop him off and let him be treated like a king.

5 star service! I was taken here for a birthday surprise and it was amazing! I received the 5 course which I highly recommend! They start you off with a drink from the bar then take you back to the room to talk style. Great barber skills and attention to detail. Than back to the treatment room with low light, big screen for a scalp massage and moisture for the scalp! Then a facial witch to my surprised was amazing, it was my first! A great shampoo to finish it off! Had a great time and they kept my drink full!

Updated review: below you can see my first impressions. But after many great appointments I found out that The 3 course is not an option for me no matter what. It’s a fairly rushed experience and quite frankly disappointing. 30 minutes might suffice for others but it’s off the table for me. I highly recommend going with the 5 or 7 course service.
First impressions were great! Walked in and was greeted by friendly receptionist and offered a drink. Not just any drink. Whiskey. This was def a nice change from the beer fridge at places like boardroom, etc. Pricing was comparable and stylist were all very engaging and the vibe was good. Just moved to the area and happy to find a place with exceptional service and services.
Some good things to know. Multiple levels of service are offered. And services like massage, shoe shine, foot repair/​pedicure available. Also barbers. Clean shave. Not to mention the shampoo is in a nice quiet spot to fully relax.
Highly recommend if you aren’t afraid to drop a few bucks on your appearance and well being.

This year for JR’s birthday, I wanted to return him the favor and gift him all of the things he deserved. I browsed around on Unilocal and came across The Gent’s Place and I did not hesitate to call and book an appointment for my man! The Gent’s Place offers a variety of services and packages. For JR’s birthday, I made an appointment for him to have a 1 hour massage and a foot repair. Dana? was very helpful, attentive, and friendly. She helped me choose a package for JR that suited his needs, booked my appointment and briefly went over how the morning is going to work.
His appt was at 11am. We arrived promptly at 10:45am, they quickly checked us in, offered JR a complimentary drink, in which he chose a scotch neat. They offered a quick tour, then i went on my little merry way! I picked him up at 2:15, he was so relaxed, and told me he had the best massage ever!!! He was sooo thankful for these services and thoroughly enjoyed himself :) My work here is done! I was so happy that he considered it the «best massage he’s ever had»… he really truly deserved it!
Ladies, as much as we are constantly being spoiled by our men, The Gents Place is the perfect place to return the favor. Your man will appreciate it, trust me!
Quick tips:
— it is best to drop your man off and run some errands. During the 2 hours I was away, I walked next door to central market for groceries/​lunch, shopped around at Francesca, the Gap, and drove 5 miles down to Specs to grab some goodies. by the time i was done, JR was done! perfect timing.
— preston hollow is a very busy area, especially on the weekends, so keep that in mind! its imperative that you are there on time for your appointment, considering the fact that they are busy all day
