Zeal Med Spa & Salon

I just had a deep tissue massage at Zeal and honestly it was the best I have ever had. After a particularly stressful week I was in major need of a massage. After a year without one I was prepared to get the deep tissue and have all the scar tissue broken up and knots worked out.
As soon as I walked into the spa I was impressed with the chic décor – definitely something I’ve seen in Europe. The check out counter is perfect in size (nice and small), entrance is open, display shelves are not too cluttered and spaced out nicely and the colours are great. I was warmly greeted by Ann (owner) and a couple staff members. Ann is gorgeous and her spa is every bit as classy as she is.
I’m at a loss for my massage therapist’s name but she was everything I needed yesterday. She asked me specifically what I wanted work on, what kind of pressure I liked, how long it had been since I had a massage, basically everything a proper massage therapist should ask but that many forget. We chatted at the beginning of the massage and she was easy to talk to but then let me just enjoy the rest while checking with me a couple times to see if the pressure was okay. I did get a deep tissue massage so it was not all daisy and roses but it was still a very enjoyable and I felt all the stress I had built up just melt away. It’s the day after and I’m a bit tender in my upper shoulders but not in pain like I’ve felt after some other deep tissue massages. I saw a friend after my massage and she commented on how my face was glowing. Yup, it was definitely what I needed.
If I could give half stars I would and rate Zeal at a 4.5. I want to try out more services before I bump it up but I’m most happy with my experience and look forward to returning!

My sister and I went to this spa during spa week. Devin was our facialist. She knew about skin and she was wonderful. They really take care of you!
Wonderful staff and they even sent me a thank you note!
I want to go for more services!!!
