Gelato chain with rotating flavors. Soy based, water based, and milk based choices everyday. Younger staff, like you’d expect at a place like this, but they are helpful and nice. Good Gelato and fun flavors. I’ve been there twice and will go back again.

If you are looking for a fabulous frozen treat, Paciugo is the place to go. Over 100 home made flavors available you can even get your favorite flavor in a nice little chocolate cup. Best ice cream EVER! Paciugo also has homemade chocolates, fudge and other goodies. A must to check out.

I wondered when Paciugo moved in alongside Whole Foods whether they would make it, but they did and became the frontrunners of Lakewood’s renaissance. They serve gelato, gelato shakes, and coffee, but mainly gelato. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. The service is good.

Dirty dishes and melted gelato on tables when I walked in. Chocolate hazelnut was chewy instead of soft. Needs improvement in quality.

People Come in this Place because it is the only italian Gelato Place in Dallas so they don’t know better. But if you want an honest review from a True Italian go to try Di Lorenzo at Willow Bend in Plano. Paciugo’s gelato are too sweet, they taste fake. Gelato suppose to taste fresh and light. Change the milk, or panna when you make your Pastorizzata and use Fresh product !!! No Elenka or Joy. Plus the Manager at this Location it’s not friendly :(

Good stuff to satisfy the sweet! tooth. Dense, rich so I get the kiddy cup. You don’t need a huge cup. The chocolates are deep and rich, like eating fudge or chocolate chunks. Some creative choices that are fun to try, although some are a bit too odd and don’t do much for me.

Paciugo dishes up some of the best creamy, frozen dessert around. Their gelato is a lot like ice cream, so don’t be put off by its foreign provenance. There is a wide variety of flavors. The best are black cherry, cream caramel, and hazelnut. They do seasonal specialties. Around Elivis’ birthday, they do a chocolate and red pepper flavor called Hunk a’ Burning Love, and it is delicious. Parking at this location is real B, and a capital B at that, but don’t let it dissuade you. Parking after 5 is easy enough in the bank lot next door.

Went here on a chilly November eve, and had the place to ourselves. Nice little neighborhood location and vibe, a much easier experience than doing the West Village thing on a quiet weeknight. I realized half way through our gelato(TX pecan caramel sea salt, german chocolate, and peanut butter chocolate chip, all yummo) that this is the old Dan’s Lakewood Café location, RIP– I loved that little dive: P A good place for kids, or not. They have a little game table with yahtzee and connect 4, charming.

Very disappointed by the service in this place. Server was rude, disconnected and looked on drugs. We had to repeat 2 times for almost every choice as she had a headphone in her ear that she seemed very eager to keep on. I asked her what that was for(2 times of course) and she replied that it was to take phone calls. This place puts more value on the calls not ringing than on the clients in front of their face. As far as sizes the place is a scam, no matter what you get they look big as they grab it on the first scoop and then drop 30% back right before they serve you. Watch your kids’ eyes as they scam you in your face. I’ve been to gelato spots all over the world, the concept is associated with a joie de vivre from the service to the taste you put in your mouth. This place was run by a zombie serving one single flavor — bitter. If you die on the street from heat and this is the only place open — have a blast. If not you’ll get 100% much better quality and more smiles at the Whole Foods across the street. NOTFORME but there are a lot of suckers out there.

Sooooooo much better than frozen yogurt! They have over 30 flavors for you to choose from, varying from milk to soy to fruit/water based. Two medium servings(with up to 4 flavors in each) will run you about $ 10, same as froyo, but the flavors are way more intense and creamy. Don’t bother trying to take it to go on a Dallas summer night. Just eat inside. Gelato is meant to be consumed frozen, not as a liquid.

Crazy out of nowhere lightning storm rains out our softball game and we’re sad, so what do we do? Paciugo of course. Torrential downpours and lightning striking trees can’t stop us, this stuff is delish. The only thing holding back the fifth star is the lack of parking and the fact that my salted caramel was too sweet to finish. I stuck it in the freezer though and it was just as yummy the next day! Great customer service as well… Montana packaged our gelato and made them rain proof for our sprint to the car. Nom.

I didn’t know this place was a chain(thought it was a local gelato shop). Tons of flavors. The cashier wasn’t very helpful on which flavors to try. Pretty expensive for a small cup. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.

I hate giving a One Star review to any Paciugo, but the Employees here in particular a large hispanic girl certainly earned their locale the rating. Came to this location just before closing time, certainly I understand that you have been working all day, and want to go home, but Paciugo policy is to be cordial to guests and not to flip the light switch while guests are eating in order to push them out the door. The heavy hispanic girl announced to us that they were about to close. We had already ordered our gelato and sorbetto and were sitting, enjoying it calmly. At Paciugo you close the door shut off the Open sign, and wait for your last guests to finish their gelato. She continued her attitude until, I made it known to her that I knew everyone at corporate, it was only then that she was quiet went to the back, and kindly let us finish our gelato. As a longtime Corporate employee I hate to see these kinds of issues affect the company.

I feel uncomfortable not giving Pacuigo more stars. The number of 4 and 5-star reviews are overwhelming. On my first visit, though, the gelato just wasn’t anything special. Good enough to go back, but none of the flavors I tried were that great. Certainly not the best or even close to the best from elsewhere in the country or world. Maybe it was just bad luck or an unlucky time when not many good flavors were available? Here’s to next time.

Don’t be fooled by the small portions, the flavors here are rich and intense. You get up to 3 flavors in a small cup so you won’t be overwhelmed by choosing from their varied selection. The salted caramel and raspberry chocolate were my personal favorites. The shake I got was a little bit of a let down compared to their straight gelato but still above average.

Great selection of delicious gelatos! The cups are small but the flavors are big. Milkshakes are ok, they seem really watery compared to the gelatos.

This place SUCKS ! I was told this was an upscale gelato shop and it’s super crappy! Their furniture looks very old and it doesn’t look like a nice place to relax. Also the staff is horrible! I was standing Infront of the register while a two girls were just laughing and having a good time, when I was finally attended and I was choosing my flavors I saw many flies in the gelato!!! And on top of that I saw a COCKROACH By the spoons! I was so concerned and I immediately addressed the staff and they both looked at eachother and giggled completely ignoring me, what a disgust! CLEAN your place up a little would ya, definitely not recommending this place to anybody. BTW I DIDNOTBUYANYTHINGFROMTHERE. Very disappointed. I’d recommend you Go to YUMMILICOUS or PINKBERRYON McKinney ave Instead, now that’s a beautiful place to relax and even go on a date to!

I was pretty surprised that this was a chain… the quality and service made it seem like a Mom and Pop place… and I mean that as a compliment. The lady was doling out free samples like their freezer was broken! But I’m glad she did, because I probably wouldn’t have gotten the salted caramel or Blood Orange Sorbet if I hadn’t tried the sample, and they both simply blew me away. Yum yum yum!

Unilocal, you really delivered this time. You helped me find what I desperately needed to find after moving to Dallas: a great location for some cold ice cream(well, in this case gelato). This place delivered. The flavor options were kind of dizzying. Truly helped by the fact the staff kept suggesting different flavors and doling out plenty of samples. I’m passionate about frozen desserts(like ice cream and gelato), and this place will become a regular hang-out for me. Try the blood-orange sorbet. You will not be disappointed. I know, I didn’t think I’d like it either! It blew my socks off. The place is clean, super friendly, and has a good amount of seating with a fun atmosphere.

It’s no secret that I love Paciugo. I think I’ve been to every location in town and this location is my absolute favorite. Not because of the gelato, which is consistently good everywhere, but because of the staff. My son’s only request for his birthday was a Paciugo gelato pie. I thought I’d have plenty of time if I called in my order a few days before his birthday weekend. Famous last words, right? Enter the Icepocalypse of 2011, wherin the entire city of Dallas — including Paciugo — was closed for business for 4 days. Wah wahh waaahhh. By the time the frozen tundra melted and Paciugo opened their doors on Saturday, the 24-hour freeze requirement put the gelato pie firmly out of our reach. But wait, our story doesn’t end there. The sweet lady behind the counter pointed out the multi-pack option and my son jumped at the chance to have a trough full of his 5 favorite flavors. Sure, it wasn’t a pie. But it was as close as we were getting to gelato heaven. After spending quite a bit of time loading up our trough and making everything picture perfect, our sweet lady then gave us a 20% Facebook discount. Guess it helps to have a teenager who goes crazy with the like button after all, eh? My son’s birthday party was a success and the trough of gelato impressed everyone. Paciugo saves lives, y’all. Or at least this mom’s rep. And with a teenager, my rep needs all the help it can get.
