We had bought several Groupon restaurants and as usual, we were delighted with this little gem. We both had the Gyro sandwich, woooooooooo. So good! I was a little surprised when charged for a bit more of the Tzatiki sauce, but the food was fabulous and the entertainment(we found out is on Thurs, Fri, Sat) was quite the surprise. We WILL be back again. Take your family, friends. Great experience. They were really rushed, but wait for food, perfectly acceptable.

Worst overpriced Greek food in dallas. Salad was ok but that’s about it. Hummus was terrible. Gyro was whatever. Will not be back.

We came here for a friends bday. This is not the normal place I would come to eat but it was nice to try something new and different. Nice place, we came on a regular work day, so there were no extra shows. Nice staff, nothing to complain about. Just probably will not go back because it’s not my norm.

Stratos had good Greek food and solid wait staff. Portions are decent, their happy hour prices are good, and on Monday and Tuesdays, all mains are ½ off with a drink purchase(soft drinks and tea counts). I was recently here on a Friday night and they had belly dancers and a Greek conga line. That was all entertaining but the wait staff threw stack after stack of paper napkins in the air, like confetti. All those napkins went into the trash. None were recycled. That was a turnoff for me. Having a good time is great. Wasting a case of napkins is unnecessary.

All I can say is wow. Their food was amazing. I couldn’t believe how quick the service was. The Greek salad lunch special was a great price and was a great portion. Everything had so much flavor and it had a great atmosphere.

The service was good and there was entertainment. But honestly, the food was disgusting. I’m not sure it should even be called Greek food. I’m not sure I would give this place a second chance.

We loved the food. We didn’t go during the peak time when they have entertainment so can’t speak about that. I was pleasantly surprised after reading the bad reviews on here. The décor and location are not bad. The food was served quickly and tasted great. We will be back! Opa!

5 stars for lunch — food, service and price. Late nights about a minus 1 for extremely loud noise, leftovers(dry meat, wilted vegetables). I won’t go back in the evening.

Great food and prices, and good service. The place was empty at the start of happy hour which was odd given that we found it during a search for great happy hour places. But it was also on a Monday.

Awesome! I went there with my friends. We drove a lot and got wrong way. I was kinda tired of this. But when I got the food, it was worthy. The food here is very delicious. I like the octopus, very great. And the Max’s burger looks good too. They even have belly dance. Amazing place! I would like to be there next time although it’s far from my apartment

AVOID this place! I did not have a good experience here. 1. This place was empty(literally no one there!) during prime dinner time and it’s super dark and not classy. 2. There is a reason they don’t advertise their prices on their website– if you knew, you’d not go there. The food is super EXPENSIVE!!! Yes– $ 22 for an appetizer. Funny thing is on their old menu from last year, that same appetizer is priced $ 7 less. Why the massive price hike?! 3. I ordered to-go and they charged me $ 0.50 per container. Yes, a fee for dingy plastic containers. I’ve never ever seen this before. And the owner got so defensive when I told him how ridiculous it is. Robbing the customers. Why didn’t they tell me this when I placed the order over the phone? 4. I had a coupon and I tried to use that but the owner said I have to dine-in. I said I can’t as I’m sick and the coupon expires today, he said he’ll cancel the order then. Logic– So you’d rather have a sick patron in your restaurant than accept the coupon? 5. If I dined-in, wouldn’t you have to use your dishes, glassware, silverware and soap and whatever else is used to clean up? Am I not saving you money by taking out on these things? 6. They made my food in 10 minutes. How is it possible to make so much fresh food in less than 10 minutes? Can’t be fresh! 7. Seems like the owner wants to rob the customer of as much money as he can. This usually is a sign the place isn’t good and is dying. I’d let this place die. Just a bad experience overall, there are better and less expensive places in Dallas for fresh Greek food. Skip this place. Not worth the money, ambiance, or food. BAD customer service. Owner is rude, this is not how you run a business.

We did not have a good experience here. First once we entered it was 100% like being in a night club, we went there for dinner so we were a bit shocked at how obnoxious it all was. Every 30 seconds(not kidding here, we timed it) a man playing DJ would yell out Ompa. Every 45 – 60 second a woman who was dancing on the tables(where people were eating) would toss napkins in the air and get dollars placed in her pants. We asked for drink prices and have two people give us two very different prices, when we asked why this was since we felt ripped off they had no answer for us. We ended up leaving before we could order food since I was sitting directly next to my husband and we had to text each other to talk. Highly irritating and not a clean environment. Do not bring kids here either, not a good environment for them. If i was out with friends and we were drinking a LOT this may be tolerable but never for food.

Are you thinking about dining at Stratos? If yes, just close your eyes… close your eyes and ignore the fact that it’s located in the middle of strip club alley, close your eyes as you park your car in the dark, slightly shady parking lot, close your eyes as you pull open the black-tinted peeled-paint, strip-club like doors to *boom*, a blast of light into … a really ugly dining hall. If I must continue, just keep your eyes closed the entire time you’re here and let your taste buds guide you. The ambiance is not something to write home about. In its prior life, this venue was probably a club and all tables used as for bottle-service as as all tables face towards the middle of the floor — but hey, that means that there are NO bad seats for any type of entertainment that may occur here. All seats face towards a TV screen. We dined here on a Monday night and surprisingly found out that you can get 50% off any entrée with a drink purchase! What steal. If it’s not Monday(or Tuesday) then just look up Groupon and you’ll find an alternate deal. As for the food itself, we ordered gyros — something I end up always ordering every time i’m at a mediterranean restaurant. I can’t resist the draw of that gyro meat. IMO, other than Ali Baba gyros, this place is the runner-up to best gyros in the DFW.

This place is fun. Food is good, drinks are stout and they entertain guests with belly dancing and encourage patrons to dance too. Parking is questionable during high volume days. You can’t go wrong with most of the food offerings and you can bring a big group easily.

I was shocked at the poor level of service and very low quality of the food during my first and last trip to this bizarre place. I will not go into details but let’s just say that this is a very shady place. However, I decided to try and overlook the strange behavior I noticed in the parking lot and lack of attention I received after being seated because I really wanted some good Greek food and thought this might be the place. I was very wrong. More shocking than even the poor service and terrible food(which I believe was simply microwaved), the management responded to my comments based on my experience with an attitude that basically rubbed me the wrong way. I really wanted to like this place and the food. I would have been a regular since there really are no places in the area for good Greek food. Stratos seems more focused on its ridiculous dancing events and the staff entertaining their friends rather than running a restaurant catered to high quality of food and service. In short, this place is a joke and I would much rather dine at the Taco Bell drive-thru than to come here. I am convinced that anyone who rates Stratos with more than 2 stars does not have a clue about Greek food. Most of the customers I saw fit that description. They seemed to be there more for the dancing than anything else. If you look into who the owner is and the former spouse, things will begin to make sense as to why this place is shady and run like crap.

So we have been looking for an authentic Greek restaurant to eat at. This is the one! By far the best pita bread we have ever eaten. The grilled octopus was so delicious. We had a wonderful waiter who was very attentive. My husband said its the best Greek dessert he has eaten. We add a Gyro so good. Had the sampler platter and everything on it was amazing. When my family comes to visit we are taking them here to eat. I’m a military brat and I lived in Greece for four years in my childhood in this is the closest food I’ve come to in the United States to real authentic Greek food in Dallas/Fort Worth. The restaurant itself is very interesting an appearance but I liked it. They have live bellydancing Thursday Friday and Saturday. We going back to watch the belly dancers.

Ate here about a month ago. Meant to write a review then. Better late than never. While it looks like a house of strippers from the the outside, and the place needs updating, the food does not need any updating whatsoever. Our combo plate was delicious, the chicken pita was moist and cooked to perfection.

This was a very cool place to eat. 5 stars for entertainment. They entertain you While your eating with a belly dancer dressed in a beautiful outfit. She dances around the tables and encourages audience participation. Also, you can learn to Greek dance as they have members of the staff along with guests do this dance around the restaurant, very fun. The service was excellent. Very attentive and made suggestions based on house specialties. The food was ok. I had a gyro which I’ve definitely had better although it was loaded with meat. The fried cheese was good but portion was small for the price. I thought the pita bread served with sauce was also pricey for the portion size. The drinks were high also but trust me when I say they are loaded with alcohol. By volume you do get your money’s worth. It’s a cool date night or girls night out place with the entertainment but if you’re going for excellent Greek food, there are better choices in Dallas/Fort Worth.

Wow. Everything was so flavorful. The rice, the veggies, pork the dips. Everything. We had grilled octopus, a gyro and pork souvlaki. The pork was so tender and the veggies were sooooo good. I wish I had asked for double veggies. But the rice was really good too. The atmosphere was great. The outside is very Greek. Once you walk in its a little strange. Disco balls. But apparently they have dance classes there. But the music was Greek and everyone was very nice. They have Greek beer and ouzo! Yes please!!! I can’t wait to go back!

I love this restaurant. There is plenty of space, live entertainment, Consistently delicious foods, nice décor, and great coupons on Groupon! The only complaint is the waitresses with the very short and tight clothing. I don’t want to see you butt, thighs, and everything else hanging out. The dress code for the women should definitely be changed immediately.

They placed 4 small screaming wandering(with mommy’s non-concern) children along a row of adults. Empty restaurant. Plenty of space for them away from the ones that are spending the most, ie, appetizers, cocktails, entrees, desserts. The hostess must be related to them or on crack. Will think twice next time about my used to be fave greek place.

I returned here for lunch today, and I had a better experience than I did visit #1: 1. I got the gyro plate, and it was a big beautiful pile of respectable gyros, accompanied nicely by a few fresh veggies and a pitiful little plastic to go cup of tzatziki sauce 2. mid-day lighting made the interior look a bit less than a strip joint 3. service was solid, thanks to Veronica I may be back for lunch or happy hour on Monday or Tuesday– time will tell.

**this is NOT for the food** I’ll start by saying that my husband and I come here at least 1x month. The last 2 times the service has lacked tremendously. Last night was probably some of the worst service we’ve experienced in a long time. We arrived around 6:50 pm and the place was filling up. We sat inside at a booth. And we did just that. Sat. And sat. While noticing several male servers standing back by the kitchen/bar area they were more occupied by talking. We sat for a good 5 – 7 minutes without anyone coming to our table. Unacceptable. Then I notice all the female servers around the host stand talking. Also unacceptable. At this point do we leave? So we both started doing the looking around-stare at people to get their attention looks. Finally I get the eye of a lady taking drinks to the patio. She tells someone at the host stand. I see the greeter tell a girl she is sitting at a table with her back to everything. So I’m immediately thinking great she’s our server. She walks over and states she’s not but can get our drinks started. Maybe there was a water shortage because that took another 5 minutes. Someone different dropped the drinks and tried to skirt away. We told them we were ready to order. Same thing we get every time — hummus, soup, gyro combo with salad. Hummus is dropped off by a new server. Soup by someone different. Gyro arrives and it’s not the combo. Repeat staring routine together corrected order. That finally happens by a different server. Now the food was legit. Like always. Service pitiful. Fine to pay. You’d think that the piles of empty plates would get someone’s attention. Nah not tonight. My husband goes to track someone down to pay. And this is the real kicker — they asked him where he was sitting at on the patio?! Umm hello McFly?! Needless to say the lack of any type of service was evident which is unfortunate because the food is 5-stars worthy. No. A tip wasn’t left. Unless you consider the tip to be some server/customer service training.

After I wrote by original review almost 5 years ago, I’ve both visited and catered with Stratos several times. While a tad off the beaten path in regards to location, there’s something quaint and enjoyable about Stratos. Its the great service, delicious food, and lively entertainment. And while it’s a lively place on Friday nights with belly dancers, it’s still family friendly. The catering here here has always been great. The food always gets compliments and the delivery is super reliable. Joanne is always a pleasure to work with on catering!

3.5 stars. I’m at a loss at how describe how I feel about this place. Was the food good, yes. Was our service good, yes(although we waited about 5 – 10 minutes before we were greeted). Would I ever take my family here, no. The décor and loud music is a major turnoff for family dinners. It’s quite hard to digest my dinner with so much bass vibrating my seat. If you aren’t looking for an intimate dining option. this place is your winner. They do have great«make out» booths in the back so that could up the intimacy factor. My husband thinks this place is awesome. His review–«Food, good. Music, amazing. What’s not to like?». Men.

So who doesn’t love great Greek food. Come on, everybody loves the flavors and aromas. Capache. Stratos is a little bit wild décor inside and out. Once you pull into the parking lot, you will understand. Through their front gate, will be their patio garden oasis, perfect for al fresco drinks and dining late April through mid October. Inside the main building, yeah it looks and feels like a converted dance hall of sorts, minus the poles. Have fun with it. There are flashing colors of various hues splashed here and there. I found the servers to be young and professional. The food and drink menus are quite extensive and do take sometime to puruse. But once you’ve made a decision, enjoy it all the same. So my friend and I ordered our happy hour drinks, they weren’t skimpy on the booze and packed some serious punch, which is always appreciated. Our dinner was Mousakka and the Meat Gyro Plate. The portions are generous. Everything was warm and tender, but lacked a dash of salt and the right amount of garlic. Other than that, I absolutely loved their food. Next time I will stop by on the weekend for the wild and crazy belly dancers. Oh my.

3 words — HAPPYHOURHEAVEN! ½ price off Entrees during happy hour & $ 2.50 beers(includes Shiner) and $ 3 margaritas(they don’t skimp on the tequila). OH, & the food is delicious! I’m a Foodie & this is good Greek food. We had the«Meat lovers’ Gyro Plate» which is piled high with perfectly seasoned, tender lamb, and the Makaranopita Plate which is feta spiked macaroni baked in layers of flaky phyllo, served with a Dolma, Pita bread and sautéed garden vegetables. Portions are large & yummy. Happy hour runs M-F, 11am to 7pm. We are definitely going to check them out for weekend brunch. The staff is very friendly. I totally agree with other reviews that this spot looks like a strip club on the inside. Also, the club music is «bumpin’ up in there» :-) The décor is over the top cheesy and my hubby says that the«booths» are actually old strip club booths. LOL!!! BUT, the«interesting décor» just gave us a lot to talk about and laugh at while we ate our delicious food and kicked back some cocktails. You have to check this spot out!

I love lamb, so this review might be biased! - What a funky place! It’s on a busy road, but it wasn’t tough to get to. The outside was lit up like a night club — color-changing lights. There was this neat patio before you reached the front door. It’s kind of a cheesy over-the-top kind of building; decorations and fountains and colorful tiles, etc — but I liked it. The inside is funky too — different levels of seating. A small stage. A dance floor. Disco balls(???). They do dancing shows here — or maybe some kinda club scene on the weekend. I imagine a lot of hairy-chested guys with open shirts… Gross. But the food was awesome. I had the spanikopita which was excellent. They also do this flaming-cheese dish which was cool. They bring it to your tableside and light it on fire and yell OPA as they do it. I’m not greek, I just like the food. So I had no idea what they were yelling about but the fried cheese was good. They give you pita bread too. I had the lamb shank and it was very good. The sauce kinda masked the lamb flavor BUT it was still awesome and I would get it again because their sauce is really good. I love lamb — and this place had several different variations of it. Their wine isn’t crazy-overpriced either, and it was really good. I can’t remember it, but I’d get it again! Their house Cab. It was good! - Thumbs up to this place. It’s funky and weird but that menu rocks and I’d go back anytime!!!
