Great salad and soup! Ingredients are always fresh and the staff is always friendly. A couple of weeks ago they had this fiasco where the credit card machine wasn’t working for 2 – 3 days which was bizarre. They had to write down our credit card numbers which was not a very secure way to process our transactions but I have been monitoring my card and there has been no suspicious activity Overall I like the selection of fresh ingredients and the staff and I would recommend them to a friend. I particularly like the tomato soup so give it a try!

For a $ 12 salad, they’re pretty stingy about all the veggies, proteins, and dressing. Disappointing and overpriced. I’ve been here a few times and have never had a good experience.

Very good salads and wraps with fresh ingredients. You can’t go wrong because they build it your way. I eat here at least once a week. The line gets long, but it goes fast. They have a great system in place to keep it moving.

Ordered online. 13.00 salad and They forgot my shrimp, avocado and onions. This is unacceptable given the price of these salads.

Truth: it’s the best place to get a fresh made-to-order salad within one mile of my office building. Another truth: you pay a premium for the privilege of eating this food. It’s fresh. It’s convenient. But c’mon people! $ 13 for a bowl of lettuce with a sprinkle of chicken chunks and ¼ of an avocado should be a misdemeanor robbery. It’s mostly lettuce!

The tunnels are a still a mysterious labyrinth to me. I’ve yet to explore all the nooks and crannies underneath downtown Dallas. However, when I found out that there was a Salata underground, I made it my mission to find it. After getting turned around in Thanksgiving Square, I eventually made my way back to the Republic Tower and found Salata. Ah, sigh, happiness. I’ve only ever had Salata in Houston and was pleasantly surprised to find that there are a few locations in Dallas. As usual, I got a wrap with tons of veggies, grilled chicken and handful of delicious pita chips. Service is pretty straight forward so I don’t expect anyone to bend over backwards. The best way to describe Salata to an unfamiliar individual is to call it the«Subway for salads and vegetable wraps but 10 times better.» Portions are huge, vegetables are good for you and their pita chips are tasty. This has always been a favorite chain of mine and asides from its seemingly obscure location and crazy lunch rush, it’s still a favorite.

Ingredients are always crisp and lovely and despite the food court at 1700 Pacific being a mad house every day, they move their line really quick. The have several organic teas to drink(most are delicious) but no soda fountain. If you are a carbonated beverage junkie, you won’t get one here.

I come to this location very very often. I’m almost positive the recent price jump was because of the demand I caused. This place makes an amazing salad each and every time. The ingredients are always fresh and look and taste amazing. The location is clean and everything that could possibly be confusing is clearly marked. The staff are very friendly and work well together and get the often busy line through in just a couple of mins. You can order online and have the salad ready for you when you arrive but I prefer to build my own master creation of vegetable greatness topped with carnivorous mastery of different flavored proteins. My favorite is the spicy chipotle. It goes well with every dressing I’ve tried so far. I think I’ve gotten up to 23 toppings on my salad, if you think you can do better, Challenge Accepted!

Good bowl of soup for 4 dollars. The line is always long around lunch time. It would be smart to order online before lunch and just pick it up.

Consistently good with fresh ingredients and fast, friendly service. Sure, a salad with chicken is $ 10, but it will serve two. It’s very popular and the line can be 5 – 10 minutes at peak lunch hours. ‘The VIBE’ is fine. It’s part of a food court & the preparation area is immaculate. What else do you need?

Had today for the first time. Lots of gluten free options. I had the tortilla soup-it was alright. The build your own salad the is OK. But boy this place is pricey!

The SETTING: Three(3) visits over the last two weeks for lunch The VIBE: 3 Stars — Nothing special about the place, go through the line and pick your ingredients Chipotle-style. Small seating area, this is mainly a place to pick up and go. All well-dressed working crowd from the BofA tower and Renaissance Tower. The SERVICE: 3.5 Stars — The people crafting my salad are friendly and efficient, right to business during the lunch hour. The FOOD: 4.5 Stars — Small warning, the salad I get(with Pesto Chicken) costs $ 10, not exactly cheap for a lunch item… but it is well worth it! First of the all the ingredients are all fresh and seem to be high quality(reminds me of Whole Foods or Eatzi’s as far as selection) and you are NOT nickeled and dimed for adding ingredients like avocado, bacon, etc. The Bottom Line: Instead of paying $ 7 for an unhealthy not so great tasting lunch, upgrade to Salata if you’re in One Main Place.

This location doesn’t live up to the standard I’ve come to expect from Salata. The original location in Preston Center has more choices, applies toppings more liberally, and tastes fresher. It’s still a better option than Taco Bell or Subway, but for the $ 10 I expect a little more.

They are really skimpy on the ingredients. I got a bowl full of lettuce, with a teaspoon of feta, teaspoon of tomatoes, teaspoon of eggs, etc. Also, too late I learned that an extra dressing cup is $ 1. Yes, ONEDOLLAR for a once ounce little cup of dressing, that the servers fill half full. Everything was mostly fresh. The problem was that my salad just tasted like lettuce. I tried to fork around to find some of the other ingredients, but its hard to get any other flavors from such tiny bits all mixed in, For much better price, you can just go to Albertson’s supermarket up the road and make your own salad. For 8 $ a salad(or $ 10 if you add chicken or seafood), its not worth it to me. I wont be going back. I do really like Snappy Salads, they are generous with their toppings.

Good food but slow and long line. Still worth the wait. Pro: Fresh salad with great choices of ingredients and dressings. I skip the meat because it is not worth the extra $ 2-$ 3 and does not taste any good(chicken is very tough, shrimp and salmon taste like thawed frozen food). I added avocado for $ 1.50. Cons: The line is long and slow. They train new staff during rush hours and often swap their station assignments. Some staff has not much to do(station 1), the others have too much to do especially the last station(the wrapper/mixer). Kudos to the girls that work there! They work hard and have smiles on their face!

Update(Oct 2013): The servers are still kind of stingy, but they seem a little less intense with their stinginess than they used to be. The fresh ingredients and tasty dressing are still great! — — — — — — — — — Previous Review — — — — — — — — — — – Pros: I love the wide range of choices for salads, the fresh ingredients, and the great tasting dressing. Also the Harney & Sons green tea is yum. Cons: I do not like how stingy the servers are with the items and how rushed they make you feel when you are selecting the ingredients. There is a weird energy from the servers and my guess is that behind closed doors the managers scare them into being stingy. Today the girl literally gave me a teaspoon of feta cheese, i asked for more and she gave me another teaspoon. I recall last time, the server was stingy with the cucumbers and tomatoes– i think i had five tiny pieces of tomato in my entire salad! On one occasion, I asked for half & half romaine and spinach, but the server gave me ¾ romaine and about ¼ spinach(presumably because spinach costs more). I hate having to ask for more but sometimes it’s ridiculous; i often want to say«trust me, I’m not going to ask for all 40 toppings; i only want 5 or 6 of them, so can i please get a decent sized scoop of these 5 or 6 toppings?» The only thing you can count on to be a consistently satisfying quantity is the avocado because it’s always gonna be half of an avocado. Also, it would be great if Salata had a few salad suggestions(listing the ingredients and dressing that go in it) posted on the wall so that the people who don’t know what should go with what in a salad will have some guidance.

For weeks and weeks we were waiting for this place to open. It’s in one of the downtown tunnel mini-food courts. The competition: Taco Bell, Subway, Pablanos, Starbucks, Sushi Place, and Pita/Gyro place. We were bored, so bored, with all those tired options. Welcome, Salata! So much tasty things to put on a salad or wrap. Start by choosing your lettuce– various mixes or spinach. Lots of veggie toppings, fruits, pita chips, a ton of dressings, add some chicken or salmon. They have soups and breads that I’ve never partaken in. A salad with chicken runs $ 10 A wrap with chicken(and complimentary pita chips) runs $ 8 The salad is a little bit bigger, and is actually too big for me to finish in one sitting. The wrap is a good size. I love this place, but find the price will keep me from coming here too frequently.
