When we visited mid-afternoon on a Saturday, they had 4 flavors available: double dark chocolate, honey vanilla bean, coconut cream, and toffee crunch(they sold out of Strawberry earlier). Between me, my wife, and my daughter, we tried all 4, and they were all VERY good. The price is reasonable but not cheap-the waffle cones are $ 1 extra but homemade. Will definitely return. This is in the Famers Market«Shed», FYI.

Roomies is the new kid on the Dallas Farmer’s Market block! Great time to be open because it’s hot as heck in the summer! They have different flavors so be sure to follow them on instagram for updates. You could get one scoop of ice cream for $ 3 or two for $ 5 plus tax. Waffle cones are home made and will cost you an extra buck but it is worth it! their ice cream is not too sweet and you still get all the flavor. I got a scoop of chocolate and grapefruit sorbet. The chocolate was really creamy and good! the grapefruit tasted like I was eating an actual grapefruit. The flavors are on point! You can find them daily at the Dallas Farmers Market. I will be on the look out for the earl grey flavor to make a come back!

Roomies Ice Cream is full of natural flavors without the sticky aftertaste of most creamy ice creams. I love the great, unique flavors! I really like the unique earl grey tea. The strawberry is also a great choice. I’m always a salted caramel lover, and theirs is a littleee bit more on the salty side, but I didn’t mind! I hear they’re going to improve on it and make it less salty. Definitely stop by here for some great, handcrafted ice cream! Quality stuff!

I know what you’re thinking when you first read the name of this up and coming ice cream joint… you might be confused? Intrigued? Happy? Thankful to see the next two following words? Hungry? Well, let me start by saying that this ice cream has totally changed my whole ice cream outlook on life and I couldnt even describe how I was feeling after my first bite. Normally, I’m not a big fan of sweets and I would actually prefer something salty instead, BUT I think I might’ve crossed over to «sweet side»(star wars joke). Hehe! So I was able to try the strawberry and earl grey tea ice cream and I would have to say that the strawberry one was by far the best decision I’ve made in the year 2015. Yes, its sounds like I’m being borderline dramatic with ice cream but I gaurantee that you will too once you’ve had the first bite. The strawberry flavor contained the«it factor» in which I have not experienced in any of the other commercialized ice cream companies. I could taste the freshness of the ingredients that were used during the making process. Earl grey tea ice cream was surprisingly good as well. All of the elements in it complimented eachother perfectly. The owner’s girlfriend, Kat, also told me that there were actual tea leaves incorporated into the ice cream itself. The consistency and richness was were both great too. Overall: I highly recommend everyone to try«Roomies Ice Cream» and it too might be the best decision you’ve made in 2015. The ice cream is currently being sold at the stand located at Dallas Farmers market on the weekends. I can already see this business taking off so watch out Cold Stone, Pinkberry, Sprinkles, and Baskin Robbins.
